It really is the most amazing house and it could well be the oldest lived in house in Wales as the manor dates back to the mid-12th century and was built during the reign of King Henry II.Guest accommodation is on the 1st and 2nd floors where you have exclusive use during your stay. We do live on site but you are unlikely to see us unless we pass on the driveway while walking the dog. You have your own front door, and key-box for access, there are no shared spaces, the manor is huge and is basically set up as a semi.Located only 20 minutes from Bristol, 30 minutes from Cardiff, and 35 minutes from the ancient roman town of Bath. It is the perfect location for touring both England and Wales. The Manor is located on the southern tip of the Wye-Valley, which is an area designated for its outstanding natural beauty.The Manor is only 100 yards from the Norman Castle at Caldicot with its 55-acre country park and lovely walks. Located in a quiet village and surrounded on three sides by a high stone makes this an amazing place to relax and enjoy life. There are no shared spaces, the manor is very large and guests have exclusive use of the 1st and 2nd floors with their own driveway and front door.
