위치가 정말 좋습니다. Y13 출구 바로 건너편에 있어요. 체크인하려면 계단을 걸어 서비스 카운터로 가야 하는데, 엘리베이터가 없어요. 화장실과 샤워실은 객실 안에 있고, 잠금 가능한 개인 사물함이 제공됩니다. 침대 디자인은 머리맡에 물건을 둘 수 있는 공간 외에도 침대 발치에도 캐리어, 배낭 등 개인 물품을 둘 수 있는 여유 공간이 있어 개인적인 공간 활용에 좋습니다. 토스트, 찐빵, 슈마이, 커피, 차 등 간단한 아침 식사도 제공됩니다.

점심때쯤 B&B에 도착하니 담당자가 없어서 짐을 먼저 맡겼는데, 저녁에는 호텔 직원이 방에 짐을 넣어주는 걸 도와줬어요. 욕실에는 샴푸와 샤워젤이 준비되어 있으며, 린스와 세안제는 직접 준비하셔야 합니다. 바디타월만 있고, 작은 수건이나 핸드타월은 사용하지 않는 습관이 있는 분들은 챙겨가시는 것이 가장 좋습니다. 우리는 B&B에 초대형 목욕 타월을 사용하도록 요청했습니다. 한 층에 방이 2개 있는데 이번에는 공교롭게도 우리뿐이에요. 그렇지 않으면 방음이 별로 안 되거든요.

타이베이 혼자 여행하거나 친구랑 같이 여행할 때 묵기에 좋은 호스텔이예요! 우선 위치가 너무 좋아요! 타이베이역이랑 중산역 중간에 있어서 어느역이나 걸어갈 수 있는 거리예요! 주변에 가까운 편의점 두 곳이나 있어서 뭐 사러가기에도 좋아요! 객실, 벙커베드 모두 깨끗하고 공용 욕실이랑 화장실도 깨끗했어요!

체크인 경험이 정말 좋았어요! 환경은 깨끗하고 정돈되어 있었고, 공용 공간은 편안하고 아늑했어요. 침대도 매우 깨끗했습니다. 직원들은 친절하고 도움을 주려고 노력했어요. 위치도 편리해서 근처에 식당과 교통편이 많았어요. 다양한 곳에서 온 여행자들을 많이 만났는데, 분위기가 편안하고 자유로웠습니다. 다음 번에도 꼭 다시 묵을 거예요! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

두 번째 숙박인데, 앞으로도 또 방문할 거예요. 직원분들이 정말 친절하세요. 작년에 묵었는데, 올해도 제 아이를 기억해 주시더라고요. 친구들에게도 추천해서 친구들도 방문했어요. 호텔 위치가 좋아서 오가기 편하고, 바로 아래에 경전철이 있어서 편리해요. 근처에 전시관도 있고, 경전철을 타면 모든 관광지에 갈 수 있으며, 가오슝에서 가장 큰 백화점인 드림몰(Dream Mall)까지도 갈 수 있답니다. 객실은 깨끗하고 넓으며, 특히 방에서 바다가 보여서 너무 좋았어요. 낮과 밤 풍경 모두 정말 멋있었고, 푸른 하늘과 흰 구름 아래, 창가에 앉아 커피를 마시며 멀리 시즈완(Sizihwan) 항구를 바라보며 멍하니 시간을 보냈던 것이 가장 기억에 남습니다!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sun Palm B&B. Have written this review in English, but we communicated with them in Chinese. We stayed at this B&B during the tourism off-peak season (March). Service - Amazing. They were very responsive on Line, and quick to reply. They were also helpful with our requests/questions (e.g. fetching service to and fro airport, car rental service, traffic road conditions in Penghu) and were polite. They also gave some advice on what can or cannot be done (e.g. we wanted to cycle around Penghu, but they advised us saying Penghu was too big to travel on a bicycle). The driver was always punctual when picking us up, and when sending us to the airport. In fact, he was already there, with the car ready, minutes before we were supposed to leave for the airport - we didn't even need to remind them. The lady boss was very friendly - when we first arrived, she asked if we were new to Penghu (it was our first time), and she introduced where to explore in Penghu, and what to eat. She also told us that if we wanted to do water activities, we can approach them, and they can make a check with the centres to see if they are open since it was off-peak season for tourist activities. We also had some extra request regarding the check out timing, and she helped us with it too. Before we arrived, they also tested the car we wanted to rent, and upon finding out that it wasn't working as well, they provided us with another car instead - this is certainly good service. They also cleaned up the room upon request, and re-stocked the fridge with drinks. Food - The breakfast was amazing and fresh (see photos). On the first day we had bread + doughstick + egg with spring onion all in one package. It was delicious. On the second day, we had vermicelli and seafood (e.g. squid, prawns). The seafood was really fresh, and the broth was simple and tasty. Each dish was accompanied by fresh fruits / pastry + drink, which was refreshing. Room - We got the Starry Honeymoon Room. It was very spacious, the room was clean, the amenities were in good condition, and the overall design was aesthetically pleasing. The heart pillow on the bed was a cute addition, and the round bed was big enough for 2 of us. Above the bed there was a window covered with a retractable screen - you can actually look into the sky while lying on the bed, really interesting.  Location - While this B&B is further away from the main city, we didn't feel that affected as they provided airport transfer services. Also, we felt that it being away from the hustle and bustle from the city was actually advantageous, as the B&B's location had a more relaxed, quiet, holiday vibes, which was what we were looking for.  There is a 7-11 around 10 minutes from the B&B, so if you need food etc in the middle of the night, you can get it from there. We rented a car, so travelling to other areas wasn't much of an issue. Overall, I will recommend this B&B to anyone looking to tour Penghu! Am glad to have chosen this B&B for our first ever trip to Penghu :)

After coming back from Taiwan, I suddenly realized I hadn’t posted any photos or written a review about the adorable wooden cabin our family stayed in at Jiufen. Everyone in my family loved this place so much that I had to jot everything down now that I finally have some free time. Most people I know usually stay in Taipei longer and just make a day trip to Jiufen without spending the night. As for me—I’ve lived in Hong Kong for quite a while, so compared to Hong Kong, Taipei didn’t leave much of an impression on me in terms of sights or food. The only thing that truly made me want to visit Taiwan was Jiufen — a sparkling little gem between the mountains and the sea 🏮🌿🌊 Jiufen feels like a dreamy fairytale village with its winding narrow alleys, steep stone stairways, and the warm glow of red lanterns everywhere. Walking around felt like stepping into another world, almost like a scene from a manga — especially for anyone who’s watched Spirited Away. ⸻ ⭐🛖 Review of the wooden cabin called Twilight Forest in Jiufen Just a 5-minute walk from the Old town, this wooden cabin brings together the warm glow of wood and the peaceful feeling of retreating into nature. It has a unique A-frame design, and at night, when the lights turn on, the whole place becomes incredibly cozy — the golden light shining through the windows and the plants around it create a “hideaway from the world” kind of vibe. Inside, the space is open, airy, and tastefully decorated in a rustic style. There’s a small terrace with a swing chair hanging straight from the ceiling — sitting there at night, listening to insects and the wind rustling through the leaves, feels genuinely healing 🙃. 🛁🌿 Highlight: The glass-walled bathroom in the garden This is the standout feature of the cabin. The bathtub is large and comfortable, placed right next to a 180° glass wall looking directly into a lush green garden. Natural daylight pours in, making your daytime bath feel like an outdoor spa surrounded by plants. (There’s also a roller blind if you need privacy) Jiufen is a tiny village perched on a mountain, and it doesn’t have many hotels that offer spacious, comfortable accommodations. That’s why I was so happy to find this wooden cabin. Our family had the most wonderful two-night stay here. If I ever return to Taipei, I would definitely book this place again ❤️

숙박 비용은 비싸지 만 아리산 역에서 가깝고 체크인 후 행동에 편리합니다. 호텔은 최근 리노베이션한 것 같고 청결하고 묵은 방은 넓고 욕조도 있어, 탕의 온도나 수량도 충분한 양이었습니다. 아침 식사 첨부입니다만 식사는 아리야마역 역 근처의 외부 제휴 레스토랑에서 몇채의 호텔과 공동으로 지정되고 있는 것 같습니다만, 식사의 퀄리티는 나름입니다. 체크 아웃이 11시까지이므로 방에 짐을 놓고 누마 히라 주변을 산책 한 후 걷고 돌아옵니다. 와도 11시 50분의 요시행의 소화차에 시간에 맞습니다.

화장실과 샤워실은 공용이었지만 깨끗하게 청소되어 있었고, 제가 머무는 동안 다른 손님과 거의 마주치지 않았습니다. 전반적으로 괜찮았습니다. 방은 작았지만 혼자 사용하기에는 충분했습니다. 다만 방음이 너무 안 좋았는데, 다행히 양옆 방 손님들이 모두 조용해서 전체적인 숙박 경험은 매우 좋았습니다. 위치가 좋아서 이동하기 편리했고 주변에 식당도 많았습니다. 하지만 호텔에서 물을 제공하지 않아 맞은편 편의점에서 물을 사야 했습니다.

시설: 여성 전용 8인실에 개별 화장실과 샤워실이 있지만, 공간이 좁고 밤늦게 누가 씻으면 다른 사람들에게 시끄러울 수 있습니다. 각 침대에는 개별 사물함이 있고, 침대는 커튼으로 가려져 있지만 물건을 평평하게 놓을 공간이 없고 침대 끝에 쌓아둬야 합니다… 청결: 체크인 첫날은 괜찮았지만, 둘째 날 침대에서 작은 벌레를 발견했습니다… 환경: 방음은 괜찮은 편이지만, 룸메이트가 늦게 돌아와 씻으면 소리가 클 수 있습니다. 프런트에서 무료 귀마개를 받을 수 있어 소음을 일부 막아줍니다. 호스텔은 타이베이역과 중산역에서 도보로 약 15분 거리에 있으며, 주변은 밤에 비교적 조용합니다. 서비스: 프런트 직원은 친절하고, 체크아웃 시 카드키만 반납하면 되어 매우 편리합니다.
