호텔은 디자인 감각이 강하고 VI는 좋은 일을합니다. 호텔은 도심에서 10-minute 도보 거리에 있습니다. 방의 공간이 넓고 침대가 편안합니다. 조식에 음식 종류가 많지는 않지만 퀄리티도 좋고 갓 짜낸 오렌지 쥬스도 있습니다.

Stayed here one night on a cycling tour. On the positive side, our room was clean, large and spacious. Good sized modern shower room too. On downside, it was plain to the point of being Spartan, stank of drains from the bathroom and the two small windows were situated just below the high ceiling. They had metal covers rather than blinds or curtains so overall feel was cell-like. The hotel had provided large wooden stairs to climb up and reach one window but this contraption wasn’t easily moveable so for the other window you had to balance on a chair in order to close the steel doors at night. The smell of drains became intolerable. On checking out I mentioned it to the receptionist who was totally unconcerned and said it was usual when it rained. It hadn’t been raining when we checked in and other rooms occupied by our party were not affected but clearly they weren’t planning on investigating. It was ok for one night but I wouldnt choose to return.

Newly refurbished top notch hotel - such a surprise in a small town. Highly recommend to stay here - comfortable rooms , excellent beds and linen, great varied fresh breakfast , attentive staff. We stayed here while visiting our daughter who has land in the area. Google shows the hotel as 2 star - inaccurate - - it is a 4 star hotel with incredible affordable prices.

It’s special but in an extremely good way. We booked this hotel in order to have a once in a lifetime experience sleeping in a Hästens bed. The hotel is located right in the middle of Coimbra, hence the access is through the pedestrian zone which you can access by car for unloading your luggage. Parking can be done across the bridge at the parking lot of the stadium. The entrance is located next to the playful sardine shop which you can find throughout the major cities in Portugal. It looks a bit hidden as the reception doesn’t look like a reception, tho and you might miss it. The whole building is decorated and designed in full detail and high quality. So are the rooms. The moment you walk in there is this wow-factor. And you need to look twice to recognize the shower. Roof top has an incredible great view of the river. Breakfast is great and we enjoyed it very much, so it is limited and served with an etagere but we liked it. Staff is always friendly and happy to help. Shout out to Lara from reception. She’s doing an incredible great job, has great recommendations for lunch and dinner and it was always a pleasure to talk with her. As far the Hästens bed: hand’t had the best sleep as indicated in the promo video but also not the worst. It was good sleep, tho.

The ”stories” are mostly about how easy they were to reach and how convenient they were for parking. ”Reaching” this one involved a 15-minute re-route, but once we took the right turn, parking was a breeze! The hotel sits opposite the retaining wall of the university above it. Guests can park all along the wall on the alley approaching the hotel and then place a parking permit on their dash. Finding the hotel in the first place was trickier! GPS had us approaching it. We were SO close! But we missed the last narrow, alley-like turn. Suddenly we had a 15-minute re-route until we could approach the hotel again. Play very close attention to your GPS!! Nice location. Nice room. Nice breakfast. Helpful staff.

Depois de um impressionante trajecto entre a vila de Côja e Piódão, pela estrada que volteia pela ”cordilheira” da serra do Açor, somos recebidos com simpatia e franco acolhimento, pela diretora e por todo o staff, fazendo-nos sentir ”em casa, fora de casa”. A decoração temática, alusiva à época natalícia, é esmerada e não um cantinho por decorar com bom gosto. Os quartos, têm amplas janelas para a montanha ou, como o nosso, para a famosa ”aldeia presépio”, parte da rora das aldeias históricas de Portugal. A vista e sempre deslumbrante e o silêncio uma bênção. O interior de design contemporânea, contrasta com a imporalidade do xisto, característico da região, que reveste as paredes exteriores do hotel, que coroa um dos cumes que ladeiam o vale onde se aninha a secular aldeia de Piódão. Os amplos quartos, com opção de casal, familiares e/ou comunicantes, são arejados e luminosos, primando pelo conforto das suas camas, da área de estar ou de leitura, têm disponíveis amenities como champô, gel de banho, touca, entre outros essências tão para os mais esquecidos ou para quem gosta de viajar com pouca bagagem. Todas as áreas são acessíveis a pessoas com mobilidade reduzida, incluída a piscina interior, não faltando espaços dedicados aos mais pequenos, para ”brincar às casinhas”, interior, ou desfrutar do baloiço ou escorrega, no bem cuidado jardim exterior com vegetação autóctone. As áreas comuns, são igualmente amplas, com generosas vidraças e/ou terraços que se abrem para a serra e onde se pode aptoveitar o sol, mesmo no inverno. O restaurante ”Serra do Açor”, serve o melhor da tradicional gastronomia beirã, onde não faltam os bons queijos ou famoso bucho, podendo optar-se por outras receitas. No igualmente farto buffet da consoada Natal não faltou o peru e ”fiel amigo”, nem as rabanas, os sonhos, as filhoses entre outras delícias doces ou salgadas, também presentes na ceia à ceia, assim como a famosa receita de cabrito no forno, servido no dia 25. Para terminar a noite em beleza, um café ou um digestivo, no bar, com confortável sala de estar, com lareira a combinar, tornando-o ainda mais acolhedor. Foi uma estada memorável que queremos repetir, em outras épocas do ano, ainda com mais tempo!

The facilities were great - I've booked this hotel specially due to the fact that it had an interior and exterior pool, which exceeded my expectations. Also, there was sauna and steam room available without extra costs. The room was very cozy and well cleaned. I will come back for sure! Having big wide windows is awesome to have natural light, however, the curtains aren't able to cover all the light during the early morning, being a less positive point.

The hotel is quite lovely and in a good location, however there were a couple of deal-breakers which ruined our stay. 1) The central hotel air conditioning ducts run directly outside of two corridors of rooms. There was a loud, low-pitched rumble audible inside the room which kept us both awake. The rooms off the main corridor didn’t seem to have this, so avoid rooms in this walkway - like #123. 2) Our mattress was ultra-firm. While some, like me, prefer very hard beds, I imagine most people will not appreciate this bed which was by far the hardest I’ve ever had in a hotel. 3) we ordered two different fish dishes, in both the fish had gone bad.

We stayed here for 3 nights in April. I booked this hotel because it was reasonably priced and had a pool, which we were glad of because the weather was very warm. Our room was on the second floor and had a fridge and a safe, no kettle. Bed was comfortable, everything was clean and modern. The bathroom had a bath and shower. Our room overlooked the street but because it’s one street back from the main road it wasn’t noisy. The window was able to be opened (which I like because I like fresh air) and the air conditioning worked. The pool area is very nice, it was quiet while we were there, although I expect it gets busy as the season progresses. We did go in the outdoor pool although only briefly as it was a bit chilly, but we used the indoor pool and sauna a couple of times, plus the gym. The hotel is outside of the old town, it’s about a 15 minute stroll away. We arrived into Coimbra by train, the train station is about 20 minutes away on foot. There are some decent bars and restaurants not too far from the hotel and a big supermarket. This hotel is a good choice if you don’t want to stay right in the centre of the old town and want a nice pool to relax by. The large Forum shopping centre is just across the river, 20 minute walk. The guy who checked us in was very helpful and spent time explaining what to see and do. We would stay here again if we returned to Coimbra.

10/10 ! Localização excecional, permitiu chegar fácil e rapidamente a todo o lado (a pé); decoração agradável, espaço acolhedor, com o essencial para a nossa estadia. Excelente em termos de limpeza e com uma ótima relação qualidade-preço. A equipa acolheu-nos muitíssimo bem. [Infelizmente, coincidiu visitarmos a cidade em período de obras para a construção/manutenção do metro. O acesso ao alojamento revelou-se mais complexo por causa disso mesmo.]

Há anos que adoro este hotel. Já cá tinha estado, várias vezes, há bastantes anos atrás. E depois de um interregno de vários anos, por motivos pessoais, voltei a este hotel em Outubro passado e, outra vez, este Agosto. O ano passado, notei as renovações nos quartos, e não só, e sempre que volto parece-me sempre melhor. Costumava ir sozinha, mas desta vez, levei os meus pais que ficaram igualmente encantados (mais dois membros para o clube de fâs deste hotel). É muito confortável, bonito e aconchegante. Mal chegamos somos super bem recebidos, com enorme simpatia e amabilidade. Todos os funcionários, desde a recepção, ao pequeno almoço e limpeza, são de uma simpatia, amabilidade e educação fantásticas. As instalações são muito boas. Os quartos são muito confortáveis e cómodos, com camas e almofadas, igualmente confortáveis, e WC com o que é necessário. A limpeza é eximia. O pequeno almoço é muitíssimo completo e apetitoso, ficamos com água na boca só de olhar para tudo tão fresco. Podemos usufruir de ginásio, das piscinas, exterior e interior, ou então, dada a fantástica localização, atravessar a rua e ir para a praia, ou dar uma caminhada nos passadiços. É óptimo para quem procura tranquilidade, descanso e, simplesmente, relaxar. Já estou a pensar quando vou voltar... Até breve Quiaios Hotel!
