Lovely little hotel in a good position in Chinon, over the river from the chateau. The staff were very helpful. They had good bike storage. The room was clean and modern and tastefully decorated breakfast was lovely.

Hostellerie du Château is a charming and peaceful retreat in the heart of Sully-sur-Loire. The hotel’s classic French style complements its location near the stunning Château de Sully-sur-Loire, offering picturesque views and a tranquil setting. The rooms are cozy and well-appointed, with a lovely mix of traditional decor and modern comforts. The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The on-site restaurant is excellent, serving delicious local cuisine with fresh ingredients—a real treat! Overall, Hostellerie du Château is a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Loire Valley. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Prima hotel.

This hotel is beautifully decorated and the bed was extremely luxurious and very comfortable. There is a lift to access the rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is free car park just behind the hotel, which we found easily. The area feels very safe. You can also pull up outside the hotel on the parking bays, and the hotel will provide you with a free permit for 2 hours so you can unload your baggage and settle in before parking your car in the carpark. The hotel is just a short walk from the beautiful river setting, bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
