Food first—because it deserves the blame. At this price point, you don’t serve anonymity on a plate. Buffet-heavy Generic Forgettable to the point of insult This isn’t Tokyo-tier. This isn’t even trying to be. And when you’ve benchmarked yourself against places like Tokyo hotels, that gap isn’t subtle—it’s philosophical. --- Service: willing, but not weaponized The staff aren’t careless—they’re unequipped. You feel it immediately: No anticipation No rhythm Just reaction under pressure It’s not bad service. It’s incomplete service. And in luxury, “almost” is failure. --- Weekend reality check Then comes the weekend—the great revealer. The hotel stretches beyond its elegance: Parking spills into the garden (yes, the garden) The calm dissolves into something closer to managed chaos An adult-only hotel should feel curated. Controlled. Intentional. Not like it oversold serenity. --- The spa paradox (now with nuance) Here’s where it gets interesting. Inside the massage room: Calm Competent Genuinely relaxing You exhale. Finally. At the reception: You’re put on standby Another guest jumps ahead No acknowledgment, no permission And just like that—the spell breaks. It’s the perfect metaphor for the hotel: execution exists… but awareness does not. --- The small betrayals Minimalist amenities are fine—if they’re precise. Here? Items missing Replenishment inconsistent You have to ask And the moment you ask, luxury quietly exits the room. --- The Tokyo comparison When you place this next to high-end Tokyo hotels, the difference is brutal: Tokyo runs on systems → invisible excellence La Badira runs on effort → visible strain One feels inevitable. The other feels negotiated. --- Final note This is not a bad hotel. That would be easier. This is a beautiful hotel… carrying a 4-star operational soul while pricing itself like a 5-star philosophy. And that tension? You feel it everywhere.

We really struggled with the service here. I told them I was getting married and I have family staying with them as well as family scattered at other nearby hotels. Royal Azur is the only hotel that would not cooperate with us to allow guests into the hotel. We were stopped multiple times at the front gate and the staff in the front desk would not accommodate our needs. Weddings are stressful as it is, however, the hotel did not alleviate any of that and added more levels of stress. I will not be coming back here.

I didn’t have a good experience at this Hotel. Stayed 12 days on a business trip and many of these days I arrived after work with no towels, no shampoo, or no laundry bag. Weak breakfast, and the Hotel needs a total renovation.

The hotel personnel is outstanding. I loved their professionalism and dedication. Special note for the desk personnel who welcomed us with professionalism and kindness, and listened to our claims with a smile and reactively acted in consequence. The customer service manager (Haifa) is also great. The rooms are very clean but the furniture are quite old for a 5 stars hotel(some broken wooden stuff...) Biggest weakness: 1- The lunch/dinner menu was exactly the same and we had to rise a claim for that. The next day was satisfying tho. 2- We had to pass by an open door area to go to the indoor swimming pool during a cold time which was very uncomfortable (got a cold after that) 3- Booked an all inclusive and still need to pay for the gym? why?

좋은 위치. 호텔은 깨끗하고 리셉션의 직원은 훌륭하고 느긋하며 항상 미소와 친절로 제공됩니다. 마사지도 놀랍습니다. 음식은 조금 더 나을 수 있고 다른 모든 것은 완벽했습니다!

Отель нам очень понравился, но было несколько нюансов, например в номере не было зубных щеток и пасты, также полотенца не всегда были чистыми, уборка не регулирована, однако, питание хорошее и еда вкусная! Вы должны понимать, что отель действительно очень большой, но находится на частичной реконструкции, нам достался действительно новый номер!

J’ai été surpris par l’accueil et le professionnalisme de l’équipe de cet hôtel, un personnel très respectable professionnel, très accueillant bienveillant. Nous avons été super bien accueillis. C’est un endroit très calme pour se poser tranquillement la propreté de cette hôtel mérite ces cinq étoiles sur chaque classement en en garde un super bon souvenir et hâte de revenir prochainement. J’ai remercie encore particulièrement le service de sécurité, le service à l’accueil réception et surtout le personnel de restauration vraiment y a rien à dire. Allez allez-y, les yeux fermés pour ceux qui veulentséjourner dans cet hôtel vous serez super bien acquis. Merci encore et j’espère à très bientôt.
