스리랑카 중부 주 소재 2성급 호텔

The owners and employees at this hotel are so, so lovely. Unfortunately their hotel is not. I almost feel catfished as many of the photos highlighted the bar and pool party atmosphere. This was not the case - the pool was a decent size but in the shade and I actually didn’t see anyone in it. The pool party drinking shots I highly suspect were perhaps not a genuine source. The same goes for the bar which is massive and attended to by several lovely young, bored gentlemen as both times I popped up (once for dinner) I was the only patron. Again no party atmosphere or even people - which is a shame as it is a big venue. Fortunately next door was another venue for some decent cocktails and music which saved the boredom somewhat. The bedroom was a decent size with a small fridge (but didn’t work), the bathroom was small, felt dirty, no hand soap or soap for the shower (apart from leftover previous occupants - and that was gross). The pressure was poor making showering difficult and there was plaster on the floor from some damage - not cleaned up. The bed was massive and comfortable with air conditioning and a fan so sleep was good. Finally, and to repeat, the staff were lovely. Very hospitable and the location is about a ten minute walk to the Sacred Tooth Temple and Kandy Lake. So great location. Would I stay there again - no. Would I pop in to say hello to the owners and next door for a cocktails - possibly!

My wife and I stayed here during our trip to Sri Lanka, choosing it because of the great ratings on Google. The location is a little outside of town, so you’ll need to take a tuktuk to get there. It costs less than USD3, and honestly, riding through Nuwara Eliya on a tuktuk was part of the fun. The guesthouse itself feels like a large bungalow with several rooms, designed with a classic British-style interior. Our room was one floor up, not very big but cozy and just right for our stay. The highlight was the balcony that faced the lake, where we could watch the sunrise in the morning. At night, the temperature dropped to around 13°C, so we didn’t even need air conditioning. The water heater worked well, and the bathroom was spacious and comfortable. One thing I wished for was indoor slippers. The floor got very cold at night, so I had to wear socks, which was manageable but slippers would have been nicer. The caretaker was warm and welcoming. He greeted us with hot tea on arrival, which felt amazing in the chilly weather. Breakfast was simple but good. Since we checked out early, he prepared an American-style breakfast for us. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with beautiful views, kind hospitality, and a peaceful atmosphere.

現地で知り合ったバックパッカーとこのホテルを2人で利用した。寝るだけなら良い場所である。 WiFiが上の階だと弱いのと、このホテルに行くには坂を登る必要がある。 しかし、キャンディ市内へのアクセスは良く、湖のほとりを歩ける点が良かった。また、たまたま行くまでの道にゾウが居て試乗させて貰えたので私は満足している。

Хороший отель, замечательное расположение, очень удобно – рядом парки Грегори и Виктория, всё в шаговой доступности; в отеле кроме номера, есть общее пространство, где можно удобно расположиться и отдыхать. Из окна номера открывается вид на всю долину города Нувара-Элия. Я проживал в этом отеле пять дней. Очень комфортно, тихо спокойно! Приветливый персонал: мне всегда помогали советом и отвечали на вопросы. В номере есть всё необходимое, даже чайник и возможность попить чай!

What a marvellous stay! The host was really friendly and accommodating, breakfast is made fresh - a delightful way to try some local dishes. My room was nice and well equipped, it felt clean and the wifi coverage was great! Some of my previous stays the wifi was unstable. The location is fantastic, easily accessible to the Main Street, whilst tucked away in a quieter area. There is a local supermarket up the road. The shared areas and view are both equally beautiful, lush with greenery. Thank you for the lovely stay Sarath!

Хозяин очень приветливый, я приехал в начале седьмого утра, но заселил без вопросов, огромное спасибо. Надо учитывать, что дом на холме, из-за этого нет шума с улиц. До центра 10 минут неспешным шагом, но обратно придется ехать на тук-туке. Но это того стоит. Единственный минус - в комнате очень слабый сигнал wi-fi, но у меня был мобильный интернет, поэтому для меня это было непринципиальным. В номере всё есть, чисто, без вопросов.

호튼 평원에 가기 전 환승 숙소로 하루 묵었는데, 정말 좋은 게스트하우스였어요. 밤 7시 넘어서 도착해서 짐 풀고 저녁 먹으러 나갔는데, 걸어서 15분 거리라 걸어가려 했거든요. 그런데 길이 너무 좁고 차가 많아서 돌아왔어요. 사장님인 하치(Haaci) 씨가 그걸 보고 왜 안 가냐고 물어보길래 위험해서 못 간다고 했더니, 그럼 자기가 태워다 주겠다고 하더라고요. 자기 차로 식당까지 데려다주고, 식당에 도착해서는 다 먹고 나면 데리러 와줄지 먼저 물어봐주는데 정말 감동적이었어요. 새벽 5시에 호튼 평원으로 출발할 때는 미리 싸줄 아침 식사까지 챙겨줬어요. 게스트하우스 건물 인테리어는 새것은 아니었지만 깨끗했고, 무엇보다 사장님이 정말 적극적으로 도와주고 저희 필요를 먼저 알아봐 줬어요. 이번 스리랑카 여행에서 비싼 5성급 호텔도 예약했고 저렴한 게스트하우스도 예약했지만, 가장 기억에 남는 건 하치 씨가 베풀어준 진심 어린 따뜻한 도움이었어요. 이건 5성급 호텔에서는 느낄 수 없는 경험이죠. 사장님 영어도 아주 유창해서 소통도 원활했고요. 스리랑카에서 가장 추운 지역이라고 했는데, 저희 마음은 정말 따뜻해졌어요. 게스트하우스가 앞으로 더욱 번창하길 바라고, 나중에 친구들이 스리랑카에 오면 꼭 추천할 거예요.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ganthera and the staff were friendly however the room itself could have been improved. For example, there was distinct black marks on the walls and some mould in the bathroom but we understand the climate is humid (also some dead bugs). Bed area was clean and satisfactory and we slept well. The front door is locked at night so beware if needing to leave early - staff are not attentive to this. Whilst we did not use the pool area, the view was nice and pool looked good. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would probably not come back.

부드러운 가족과 깨끗한 객실에서 매우 만족합니다. 기차 예약도 도와 주셔서 정말 신세를 졌음에도 불구하고, 마지막에 너무 서둘러 칩을 넣어 오는 것을 잊었습니다. 정말 무례했습니다. 또 캔디에 갔을 때에는 반드시 여기에 묵게 해 주셨으면 합니다. 감사합니다.

호스텔 가격, 호텔 서비스. 위치는 약간 편향되어 있지만 Kangping Lake까지 도보로 10분, Buddha Tooth Temple까지 도보로 20분 이상 소요됩니다. 시설은 매우 새롭고 Kangti의 전망을 볼 수 있는 발코니가 있습니다. 최상층에 바가 있는 것 같고 매우 활기차고 10시에 끝나는 것은 나머지 부분에 영향을 미치지 않습니다. 요컨대, 그것은 매우 비용 효율적이며 예약 가치가 있습니다.
