The only really good point is the location of the Hostel. Otherwise, it's... The minimum you need, stagnant water on the showers, you have to do and undo your bed's sheets yourself (isn't it what I am paying for ?), and the staff was honestly pretty unpleasant, I've done 12 Hostels during my trip, it was the worst, but for a night or 2, you know, it does the job

우선, 구글 지도를 믿지 마세요. 호텔 뒤편 골목길로 안내해 줍니다. 호텔은 큰길(지도에 표시된 119번 고속도로)에 있습니다. 이 호텔은 작지만 정말 훌륭하고 위치도 좋고 깨끗하며, 제가 느낀 모든 점이 잘 관리되어 있다는 것입니다. 제가 이용한 작지만 실용적인 온천도 있습니다. 저는 호스텔 구역에 묵었는데, 싱글 침대가 있는 캡슐형 객실이었습니다. 저처럼 무릎이 삐걱거리고 무릎이 좋지 않은 노인에게는 조금 불편했지만, 훌륭한 숙박이었습니다. 다양한 요리가 있는 저렴하고 맛있는 조식 뷔페(동양풍)를 유료로 판매합니다. 그리고 신선하고 맛있는 커피와 다른 음료를 제공하는 자판기도 있습니다. 2성급 호텔인데, 2성급 호텔로서 별 5개를 주고 싶습니다. 아주 좋은 작은 호텔입니다.

The place is a 25-30 minute walk from the Tobu Nikko station, but you can actually take bus going there. However we didn't know the buses only run until 3 in the afternoon so we had no choice but to walk an uphill road. However it was a very fun experience and the hike was worth it as soon as we were able to take a rest in this humble pension house. The owner was very accommodating, gave us strawberry ice cream and even offered us a ride to the station the next morning. I would say that this place gave us the best definition of ”omotenashi”. Someday when we go back in Nikko , we'll surely stay here once again.

The guesthouse is quite a way from Nikko town (10-15 mins by bus / 1 hour walk) but is in a good location for getting to the shrines or to Lake Ashi - there's a bus stop close by. The guesthouse was homely and had 2 private onsen. Our room was comfortable enough although the en-suite was very tiny! The host was welcoming but didn't speak any English which meant we had to communicate by translating on our phones. We booked to have breakfast at the guesthouse, but didn't realise that for booking the dinner we needed to give 24 hours+ notice so missed out!

숙소에 늦게 도착하여 체크인 시간이 지았음에도 불구하고 잘 받아주셔서 감사했습니다. 숙소 내는 넓고 깨끗했으며 목욕탕 운영 시간도 길어서 좋았습니다.

역 근처입니다. 나는 차로 갔기 때문에 주차장은 건물 뒷편에 있는 코인 주차장을 이용했습니다. 도치기시 방면에 갔을 때에는 또 이용하고 싶습니다.

シニアマダムが経営されているロッジで、駅から徒歩で15分～20分程度のところにあります。 お風呂は岩風呂になっており、貸し切りでの利用でした（30分となってました）。広いお風呂で清潔でした。 お部屋は山側だったので、ちょっと暗い感じでしたが、ベッドは良かったです。 夕食は、炭火の焼き肉と、お魚でとても美味しかったです。食前酒の梅酒も最高でした。 とても静かで素敵なロッジでした。 何よりも、マダムが素敵な方でした。

Wonderful new guesthouse. Bring your own towel or buy one for 200 yen. Very few rooms so onsen isn't crowded. We cooked in their kitchen every night - they have free oil/spices/sauces leftover from previous guests. There is a fishing / bbq activity business behind the hotel you should check out. The only negatives are the beds are a bit hard. Ask for an extra cushion if the pull out futon is too hard on the twin beds. You can get blankets from b1 floor if you're cold at night. The hotel is run by a 40s guy trying to revitalize the area.
