영국 웨스트미들랜즈 소재 3성급 호텔

코번트리 시내 역 바로 맞은편에 위치하여 교통이 매우 편리하며, 바로 옆에는 대성당과 자동차 박물관이 있습니다. 호텔 시설은 괜찮은 편이고 객실도 넓습니다. 약간 낡았지만 가성비가 매우 좋습니다. 작년에도 묵었던 곳이라 올해도 첫 번째 선택지였습니다. 아침 식사는 전형적인 영국식 조식인데, 꽤 맛있고 만족스러웠습니다.

안타깝게도 이 호텔은 위치 외에는 장점이 전혀 없습니다. 제가 도착했을 때 줄이 서 있었는데, 그 당시로서는 이상하게도 20시 30분쯤이었습니다. 엘리베이터는 어둡고 우울했고, 방은 더욱 그랬습니다. 방 안에는 토사물 같은 끔찍한 냄새가 맴돌았습니다. 바닥은 지저분해 보였습니다. 욕실 바닥도 마찬가지였고, 구석구석은 더러웠습니다. 방에 있는 동안 깨끗하다는 느낌이 들지 않았습니다. TV는 스마트 TV라 좋았고, 원하는 것을 볼 수 있었습니다. 벽이 종이처럼 얇아서 모든 소음과 벽 콘센트에 꽂는 소리가 다 들렸습니다. 문이 쾅 닫히는 소리가 밤새도록 거슬렸습니다. 벽지는 아주 오래되어 페인트가 겹겹이 칠해져 있었습니다. 에어컨은 없었고, 제가 들어갔을 때는 난방이 켜져 있었습니다. 침대는 제가 자 본 것 중 최악이었습니다. 스프링이 밤새도록 저를 쿡쿡 찔러서 거의 잠을 자지 못했습니다. 헤어드라이어도 없어서 샤워실은 이용하지 않았어요. 예산이 정말 빠듯하다면 여기를 참고하세요. 하지만 이보다 더 저렴한 에어비앤비를 찾을 수 있을 거예요.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with a modern and stylish feel throughout. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Its location right in the city centre was perfect, everything was easily accessible, making it a great choice for convenience and comfort. I would definitely stay here again.

객실은 넓고, 조식은 기본적인 수준입니다. 리셉션은 친절합니다. 짧은 숙박이었는데, 웨이트리스가 매우 친절하고 음식을 가져갈 수 있도록 허락해 주었습니다.

Firstly, the staff we encountered were lovely, very accommodating and helpful. The reception entrance was promising, being bright and modern with a very pleasant receptionist and smooth check in. However, our room lacked appeal, comfort or anything that made one wish to stay in it for longer than a night. To be fair, we were asked twice on check in, if we would like to move to a different floor. I jokingly asked if there was a problem with the room we'd been allocated but was told no. We were allocated Room 7. Whilst it appeared clean to the best the facilities allowed, it was unpleasant. The bottom of the bathroom door appeared water damaged and rotten. The sink was cracked. The radiator was rusted by urine splashes as situated beside the toilet and the shower was situated in a recess with no curtain or screen, so quickly spilled on to the floor making the bath mat soaked. The lock on the bathroom door didn't work. There was no hair dryer. Only one USB point within the very small TV which only charged if it was on. Being on the ground floor, our window opened out on to the narrow walk way and one poor man walked into it on his way to reception. SatNav instructions take you to a dead end further down the road and several attempts at finding our way around the God awful roundabout eventually led us to a very small parking area at the front of the hotel. Breakfast at 9.00 pm was initially disappointing. One plate was available, no bread for the toaster, no milk for the cereals. One sausage, no beans, no bacon. More food did eventually appear, as did plates, and it was very nice. The croissants and pastries were lovely too. The coffee machine was good. As mentioned, the staff were very good and we requested an iron which was bought to us quickly with a board by a lovely young man. The bed was awful. Rock hard and not much comfort from a meagre duvet that was so thin that initially we thought it had been forgotten. Anyway, one night, cheap and basic. Served its purpose but would look elsewhere and pay more. Think we were just unlucky.

5 stars. Exceptionally clean room, outstanding staff and an unbeatable location. Everything you need is within walking distance and the surrounding shops and amenities make it the perfect spot. Friendly people throughout and an altogether excellent stay. Highly recommended.

Really unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the room, there was a huge amount of dust anywhere that I was sneezing continuously. Also, the most disgusting thing were the bedsheets, stained with yellow spots! I asked for a new set of bedsheets and the reception gave them to me and I had to put them on, because there was no one of the cleaning team to do it. Very very very unsatisfied.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Hotel room was alright considering we stayed for couple nights only. Me and my daughter came back to hotel late in the evening. It is only 10 minutes walk from the railway station but we took a taxi as one area near hotel didn't feel completely safe as there is a spot where some homeless people spend their time. I wouldn't expect anything extra from budget hotel.

A perfect stay! Brilliant location, very clean rooms, and excellent facilities. But the highlight of our trip was the incredible staff. They went above and beyond by leaving some sweets and toys in the room for our 3-year-old. Such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel so welcome. We will definitely stay here again whenever we return to this city

Fabulous stay! Staff were so helpful & friendly. The room was well appointed & beds very comfy. Breakfast was great too. Just wish windows were able to open a little to let some fresh air in.
