영국 웨스트미들랜즈 소재 3성급 호텔

코번트리 시내 역 바로 맞은편에 위치하여 교통이 매우 편리하며, 바로 옆에는 대성당과 자동차 박물관이 있습니다. 호텔 시설은 괜찮은 편이고 객실도 넓습니다. 약간 낡았지만 가성비가 매우 좋습니다. 작년에도 묵었던 곳이라 올해도 첫 번째 선택지였습니다. 아침 식사는 전형적인 영국식 조식인데, 꽤 맛있고 만족스러웠습니다.

The check-in process was very easy. Friendly check-in staff behind the counter. Clean room. Nice location however, room was very cold (no heating although there are central heating available in the rooms. Hot shower, clean towels and beddings. Only 1 pillow. TV in room. Only 1 lift in operation.

솔직히 말해서, 버밍엄 기차역에서 처음 나왔을 때 외국인 여행객에게는 그다지 안전해 보이지 않았습니다. 호텔로 가는 길도 처음에는 그런 인상을 더욱 강화했죠. 하지만 다음 날 6~8시간 동안 도시를 걸어 다닌 후, 호텔 위치가 시내 중심가는 아니지만 기차역, 대형 쇼핑몰인 불링, 버밍엄 시내 중심가/대성당/세인트 마틴 시장, 트렌디한 신시가지인 가스 베이슨(운하 수로), 그리고 옥상 정원이 있는 현대적인 도서관(센테너리 광장) 등 걸어가야 할 주요 명소들과 가까워서 정말 좋은 위치라는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 객실은 최근에 리모델링한 것처럼 보였습니다. 제가 지불한 가격(2인 기준 58파운드)을 생각하면, 16일 동안 영국 전역 15개 도시(런던, 케임브리지, 레스터, 코벤트리 포함)를 여행한 동안 가장 가성비가 좋았습니다. 한마디로, 정말 괜찮은 숙소였습니다. 에어컨이 있어서 여름에 정말 좋았어요. 제가 묵었던 다른 숙소들은 대부분 에어컨이 없었거든요.

객실은 넓고, 조식은 기본적인 수준입니다. 리셉션은 친절합니다. 짧은 숙박이었는데, 웨이트리스가 매우 친절하고 음식을 가져갈 수 있도록 허락해 주었습니다.

Firstly, the staff we encountered were lovely, very accommodating and helpful. The reception entrance was promising, being bright and modern with a very pleasant receptionist and smooth check in. However, our room lacked appeal, comfort or anything that made one wish to stay in it for longer than a night. To be fair, we were asked twice on check in, if we would like to move to a different floor. I jokingly asked if there was a problem with the room we'd been allocated but was told no. We were allocated Room 7. Whilst it appeared clean to the best the facilities allowed, it was unpleasant. The bottom of the bathroom door appeared water damaged and rotten. The sink was cracked. The radiator was rusted by urine splashes as situated beside the toilet and the shower was situated in a recess with no curtain or screen, so quickly spilled on to the floor making the bath mat soaked. The lock on the bathroom door didn't work. There was no hair dryer. Only one USB point within the very small TV which only charged if it was on. Being on the ground floor, our window opened out on to the narrow walk way and one poor man walked into it on his way to reception. SatNav instructions take you to a dead end further down the road and several attempts at finding our way around the God awful roundabout eventually led us to a very small parking area at the front of the hotel. Breakfast at 9.00 pm was initially disappointing. One plate was available, no bread for the toaster, no milk for the cereals. One sausage, no beans, no bacon. More food did eventually appear, as did plates, and it was very nice. The croissants and pastries were lovely too. The coffee machine was good. As mentioned, the staff were very good and we requested an iron which was bought to us quickly with a board by a lovely young man. The bed was awful. Rock hard and not much comfort from a meagre duvet that was so thin that initially we thought it had been forgotten. Anyway, one night, cheap and basic. Served its purpose but would look elsewhere and pay more. Think we were just unlucky.

5 stars. Exceptionally clean room, outstanding staff and an unbeatable location. Everything you need is within walking distance and the surrounding shops and amenities make it the perfect spot. Friendly people throughout and an altogether excellent stay. Highly recommended.

Really unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the room, there was a huge amount of dust anywhere that I was sneezing continuously. Also, the most disgusting thing were the bedsheets, stained with yellow spots! I asked for a new set of bedsheets and the reception gave them to me and I had to put them on, because there was no one of the cleaning team to do it. Very very very unsatisfied.

Perfect location, reaching the key places withing 5 mins. Near the railway stations so if you travel from Birmingham by railway, it is a perfect place. Clean, quiet and safe.

위치가 완벽합니다. 도심에 있습니다. 옆집은 그랜드 센트럴 쇼핑몰과 투우장입니다. 그리고 New Street 기차역은 투우장 아래에 있습니다. 차이나 타운은 도보로 단 10 분 거리에 있습니다. 우리는 2 개의 싱글 베드룸을 예약했으며 침대는 매우 좁고 부드러운 매트리스입니다. 그러나 방은 깨끗합니다. 방을 청소하려면 리셉션에 알려야하는데 조금 이상합니다. 그리고 리셉션에는 일반적으로 누군가가 참석하지 않습니다. 누군가가 도움을 주려면 서비스 벨을 울려야 합니다. 때때로 키 카드가 문제입니다. 리셉션은 우리가 체크인 할 때 하나의 키 카드 만 발행 할 수 있습니다. 그리고 우리는 다음날 두 번째 카드를 발급할 수 있습니다. 시스템에 문제가 있을 수 있다고 생각합니다.

Fabulous stay! Staff were so helpful & friendly. The room was well appointed & beds very comfy. Breakfast was great too. Just wish windows were able to open a little to let some fresh air in.
