I recently had the pleasure of staying at [Hotel Name], and my experience was nothing short of wonderful from the moment I arrived until the day I checked out. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, combining modern elegance with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The lobby immediately gave me a great impression – spacious, bright, and tastefully decorated – and the staff at the reception greeted me with genuine smiles and efficiency, making the check-in process smooth and quick. The room I stayed in was exceptionally comfortable. It was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything I needed, from a cozy bed with crisp linens to a well-stocked minibar, a flat-screen TV, and reliable Wi-Fi. The bathroom was another highlight: clean, modern, and fitted with high-quality amenities. One small detail I appreciated was how quiet the room was; I could truly relax without any disturbance from outside noise. The service throughout my stay was outstanding. Every member of the staff, from housekeeping to the concierge, went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. They were always polite, attentive, and ready to help with any request, whether it was arranging transportation, recommending local restaurants, or providing extra towels within minutes. The hotel’s location was another big plus. It is conveniently situated close to [city center / tourist attractions / business district], making it easy to explore the area without spending too much time commuting. I also noticed the hotel offered a business center and several meeting rooms, which would be ideal for corporate travelers. Overall, my stay at this hotel was outstanding in every way. The combination of comfortable rooms, excellent service, convenient location, and great amenities made my trip unforgettable. 최근 리모델링을 해서 객실이 거의 새것 같았습니다. 시내 중심가에 위치하고 기차역 바로 옆이라 위치가 정말 좋았습니다. 내부 인테리어도 훌륭하고 직원들도 친절했습니다.

중앙 위치에 있는 좋은 호텔. 서비스는 절대적으로 최고였습니다. 우리 방의 기술적인 문제로 인해 우리는 자발적으로 비용 중립적인 방 업그레이드를 제안받았습니다. 리셉션의 서비스 직원은 매우 도움이 되었고 짧은 시간 내에 모든 것을 정리했습니다. 다시 한 번 기쁘게 생각합니다.

생각보다 좁습니다. 그리고 냉장고도 없는 점도 아쉽고, 전자레인지도 식당에 없어서 아이를 데리고 여행하기에는 좀 어렵지않나 생각됩니다. 위치는 지하철역 바로 옆이라 매우 만족스러웠습니다.

If we could give this hotel a review of 10/5 we would. We stayed for an extended time (16 days) and during that time we experienced the best and friendliest service. The reception staff was always friendly and cheerful. Everyone was ready to help with any question we had. Breakfast was amazing. The selection was terrific. And every morning we were greeted by the pleasant and happy staff. One staff member told me she loves her job. Who doesn't want to stay in a hotel where the staff love working? Several days my mother who travelled with me was ill and the staff made it so easy for me to take breakfast to her in the room. The room was terrific. We requested the accessible room and were not disappointed. Despite Ettlingen not being the most wheelchair friendly, Stadthotel Engel had every accessibility need addressed. The front entrance has no stairs. They have an elevator that stops at the breakfast room level. The bathroom in our room was wheelchair friendly with a raised toilet, fully accessible shower, and vanity that could accommodate a wheelchair underneath. We did not have a wheelchair but my mother has a walker which requires many of the same accommodations. The room has air conditioning for those who are concerned about that. The location is amazing. From the hotel you are directly in the old city and can walk to many stores, cafes, and restaurants. The hotel entrance is located in an inside court area where there are tables that can be enjoyed during the nice weather.

We felt this was an excellent choice for a relaxing budget stay in Stuttgart and it is close to the central train station, Schlossplatz and other important landmarks in the city. We came here for the Christmas market and were presently surprised by the city as well. The hotel was also pretty affordable, they allowed us to check in very early and there is a nice bar/common area on the ground floor. The room we got was perfect for us because it was quiet and comfortable. We appreciated that we had two different styles of pillows to choose from and a large TV with some English channels. There is a small desk in the room, closet area and plenty of space to put our things. My wife enjoyed the day bed/reading nook by the window. They provide paper cups but we had to go to the bar one night to ask for replacements and they gave us some nice glass cups. The hotel has parking on site and a decent looking breakfast. There are plenty of places to eat in Stuttgart including some very nice bakeries so we chose that instead but it is a little bit of a walk to those. Google Maps showed it was a 5 minute walk to the train station and that is true if you're taking local U-Bahn trains but due to construction in the area it will take about 10-15 minutes to get to the central station platforms. There is an underground passage just to the northeast of the hotel that gets to the Central Station and U-Bahn and once the construction is complete it should be easier to access the city transfers.

I had a few issues with my stay here, so I wasn't really sure how to rate the place. The first issue was with the air conditioning making buzzing noise from every 5 seconds while working to every minute while turned off. You can imagine the headache I was getting. I tried contacting the hotel via messages, emails, or calls with no success for 4 hours. To be fair, there might have been a problem with calling from my side (I was roaming), but it's strange that there is no messenger option (like WhatsApp, for example) for emergencies because it's hard to call while on international plan. Maybe they're not used to travelers from outside of the EU. Finally, my travel agent contacted the owner, and someone came to resolve the issue. Thank you to that man. But yeah, my plan to go to bed early failed. The next issue is that I found a cockroach in the room. Again, frankly speaking, it was barely alive, but I was terrified. And there were two flies in the room on top of that. However, I saw no insects after I had been moved to a different room. So, it either depends on the room category (I had a single originally), or it's a lottery. Not fun. The breakfast was good, though. Great variety of things to choose from, and the woman was quick to refill everything and clean up. The beds are comfortable, there's a safe in each room, and towels and other stuff are provided. It's located close to the park, but it's about 15-20 minute walk from the supermarket.
