The hotel’s location was excellent, right next to the city center, and it was a very safe area. The room was very clean and everything was thoughtfully arranged. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. They welcomed us in the room with Belgian chocolate. If I ever come to Brussels again, I will definitely choose the same hotel.

Check-in is 3pm and we arrived at 3pm but the room was only ready at almost 4pm. The story was that it was cleaned already but ”awaiting inspection”. We were handed 2 bar coupons with a blithe apology in rapid fire French for our 50 min wait. The vacuuming in the room left much to be desired. When we got into the room on the 1st day, there was a pistachio at the side of the bed. My sister's dust allergy was triggered throughout our 4 day stay. When we opted for housekeeping on the 3rd of the 4 days we stayed, the same pistachio remained there after the cleaning staff were done. Towels and bed linens were refreshed but the coffee/tea and bathroom amenities were not. If you choose the Deluxe twin room like we did, please note that the room is 24 metre square and there is only room to open up one medium sized suitcase on the ground. Our other suitcase had to be accessed via the wardrobe which was spacious enough to keep the 2nd suitcase in. Location wise, it's ideal and a stone's throw from Grand Place - the historic city centre, and many shops and good brasseries. It's a 10 min uphill walk from the hotel to the nearest train station called Brussel Centraal / Bruxelles-Midi which will bring you straight to the Brussels Airport in 17 min on the direct train (1st class carriage €12.10). The buffet breakfast is plentiful and of good quality (with eggs cooked to order) in a nice space with a courtyard view crewed by pleasant staff fluent in English. The bar has a relaxing ambience with an outdoor view and affordable drinks. My guide is always how much the increasingly rare digestif liqueur Chartreuse Verte costs. It was €14 per pour. Note : You get a free coupon for a soft drink/coffee/beer/wine if you pass up on room cleaning. If you have a short stay, you should as there wasn't much cleaning done.

친구의 추천으로 방문한 이 호텔은 다양한 관광 명소와 고급 상점들이 밀집한 편리한 위치에 자리하고 있습니다. 사전 등록이 가능하며, 도착 시 이름만 입력하고 셀프 체크인 시스템을 이용할 수 있어 국내 호텔보다 훨씬 편리하고 칭찬할 만합니다. 체크아웃 또한 신속했습니다. 엘리베이터 문이 열리는 순간 기분 좋은 놀라움을 느꼈고, 객실에서는 멋진 전망을 감상할 수 있었으며, 시설은 깨끗하고 현대적이었습니다. 조식도 만족스러웠습니다. 강력 추천합니다.

기차역과 그리 가깝지 않아 조금 불편했습니다. 다른 도시를 방문하기보다 지하철을 이용하거나 근처에서 쇼핑하는 것을 선호하는 분들에게 더 적합할 것 같습니다. 방 내부는 꽤 기본적인 편이었고, 콘센트가 매우 제한적이며 침대와 테이블에서 멀리 떨어져 있어 전자기기 충전이 불편했습니다. 방음이 잘 되지 않아 옆방과 위층의 모든 소리가 들렸습니다. 게다가 제공된 헤어드라이어와 욕실은 옛날 수준이라 머리숱이 많지 않은 분이 아니라면 한 번에 머리를 완전히 말리기는 어려울 것입니다. 이 호텔의 가장 좋았던 점은 우리가 머무는 동안 야간 근무를 하던 로비의 젊은 직원 Arthur였습니다. 그는 여행 방향/정보를 알려주고 현지 맥주를 고르는 데 즐겁게 도와주었습니다. 그의 친절한 태도는 진심으로 우리를 편안하고 환영받는다고 느끼게 해주었습니다.

위치: 브뤼셀 그랑플라스에서 도보 3분. 주변: 구시가지 중심가에 있어 매우 활기찹니다. 호텔 문 앞에 택시들이 줄지어 있어 택시 이용이 편리했습니다. 공간: 프런트 데스크, 레스토랑, 공용 라운지 공간이 넓고 밝았습니다. 시설: 3인실이었고, 건물은 총 5층이었습니다. 더블 침대 하나와 싱글 침대 하나가 있었는데, 싱글 침대가 매우 낮았습니다. 전원 콘센트 위치가 불편했습니다. 변기는 독립된 공간에 있었고, 샤워실과 세면대는 한 공간에 있었습니다. 샤워실은 60%만 유리 칸막이로 되어 있어 샤워할 때 물이 쉽게 튀어나왔습니다. 샤워 헤드는 컸지만 수압이 약했습니다. 위생: 위생 상태는 대체로 만족스러웠습니다. 서비스: 직원들은 친절했습니다. 주문 변경 때문에 체크인 시 약간의 문제가 있었지만, 결국 원만하게 해결되었습니다. 해외 호텔 예약 변경 시에는 취소 후 새로 예약하는 것이 더 좋다고 생각합니다. 조식: 레스토랑은 넓고 좌석은 편안했으며, 종류도 다양했습니다. 아침 6시 30분부터 시작하여 일찍 출발하는 여행객에게 편리합니다. 과일 바구니에 윤기 나는 초록 사과가 있어 먹어봤는데, 매우 아삭하고 즙이 많았지만 약간 신맛이 났습니다.

Midi역 바로 앞에 위치하여 접근성은 좋았지만, 주변 환경은 다소 번잡했습니다. 그래도 호텔 내부는 비교적 깨끗한 편이었습니다. 호텔에서 세면도구를 기본으로 제공하지 않아서 따로 요청해야 했습니다. 보증금은 현금으로 지불 가능했고, 체크아웃 시 돌려받을 수 있었습니다. 기차로 헨트와 브뤼헤까지 갈 수 있어서 교통이 매우 편리했습니다.

가장 큰 장점은 공항과 가깝다는 것입니다. 15분도 채 걸리지 않습니다. 체크인할 때 공항 픽업 서비스를 예약했는데, 완벽하게 도착했습니다. 1층 로비에 비어 가든이 있는데, 아침 식사는 할 시간이 없었습니다.

Breakfast is superb and has everything you could wish for, even the sparkling. Room is comfortable, coffee machine, tv with YouTube access. The location is very central, 5 min walk to the main square. - We booked this hotel especially because it showed the bathtub in the room. But we got no tub in the room . They said there are only few rooms of this category with the tubs and they are occupied. A bit disappointed. Another thing is that we had a dinner in the hotel and we forgot our personal thing there. We wrote our room number at the bill, so we kind of expected that our belongings would be delivered to our room . It didn’t happen, so we had to go and look for our things the next morning. It was a bit weird, cause you expect that Marriott takes a better care about their guests . All in all, it’s a standard good hotel.

This was by far the worst hotel experience we've ever had. The hotel has no reception and, to this moment, has not provided any check-in instructions. We arrived in the evening around 8pm, after an international flight, with our 3-year-old child—only to find ourselves locked out, unable to access the building. No instructions had been sent whatsoever. Thankfully, some other hotel guests happened to arrive and kindly let us into the hallway. We tried calling the emergency number provided, but it only offered an automated message saying replies would take up to 24 hours—by which time we would already have left. We couldn’t access our room key until another guest, using her own instructions and code, managed to open the key safe and retrieve our key for us. Absolute nightmare. The room itself was ok—equipped with a fridge, some basic glassware, and a small TV. However, there was no coffee provided, so we had to purchase our own. Only two small bath towels were provided.
