'Adamo the village' perfect property to stay in matheran.The resort is only 5 minutes walking distance from matheran railway station.Serene atmosphere and plenty of space with trees, garden &playing area inside the resort.Rooms were spacious and tidy.Dinner and Breakfast buffet provided in the dining area are filled with plenty of dishes and some of them were really delicious.Quick room service if any complaints are lodged and staffs are well mannered.Had a wonderful experience and here visit here if I come to matheran again.Happy to suggest this property to anyone who are looking for a good stay and have fun with your family ..Thank you!!

Radha's Cottage is a lovely retreat, very well located at the end of the road in Matheran. It's a simple place, furnished largely with period furniture. The food is outstanding - the best I've had in 6 weeks of traveling in India. For those who are unfamiliar with Matheran as I was, a couple pieces of information: - The ”toy train” runs very infrequently. Be sure to get a schedule if you plan to take it from the parking. - It's a 4.5km walk from the train station near the parking to Radha's. Don't believe the stationmaster if he tells you it's a 20 minute walk, it's an hour's walk. - It's still another 1.5km from the train station in the village to Radha's. If you've got a bag it's probably a good idea to get some help from a porter. - Sometimes the electricity goes out. When we stayed, these outages were brief, just a minute or 2. - Sometimes the water in the bathroom is dark brown. This surprised us one morning. It's dirt, and cleared during the course of the day.
