"2025년 6월 평일에 이곳을 방문했습니다. 비가 많이 내리고 흐리긴 했지만 아름다운 날씨였습니다. 위치는 아주 좋고 조용하고 고요하며 평화로웠습니다. 시장 지역에서 도보로 15분 거리에 있습니다. 녹음이 우거져 있고 숙소 안에서도 즐거운 시간을 보낼 수 있습니다. 주요 전망대와도 매우 가깝습니다. 에코 포인트와 샬럿 레이크는 구름과 비가 어우러져 정말 아름다웠습니다. 우리가 묵었던 디럭스 가든 뷰 객실은 작았지만, 날씨와 원숭이들을 즐길 수 있는 멋진 발코니가 있었습니다. 전반적으로 깨끗했고 음식은 괜찮았습니다. 뷔페는 다양했지만 알라카르테 메뉴에 있는 모든 음식을 다 먹을 수 있는 것은 아닙니다. 오전 7시 30분에 따뜻한 우유를 주문했지만, 비가 오든 예약이 안 되든 무슨 이유에서인지 8시 30분 이후에야 받아볼 수 있었습니다. 직원들은 더 친절하고, 단정하고, 미소가 아름다울 수 있지만, 매니저는 친절하고 행복했습니다. 그는 우리를 잘 맞이해 주었습니다. 가족, 친구, 커플에게 이곳을 추천합니다. 대규모 단체도 쉽게 수용할 수 있습니다. 편안하고 잘 만들어진 텐트 객실도 있습니다."

"Last year after our children's exams got over, we went to Matheran for 1 day. There we chose Kumar Plaza over Horseland because of good rooms. In the evening, at Housie game, among other amusements, we won Weekdays Stay discounted coupon vouchers expiring March 31, '24. This year our children's exams went beyond 6th April but Thanks to the staff at Kumar Plaza they agreed to redeem the coupons for a stay before 10th April. So we went there for a 2 days stay. My children just could not ask for more and plunged in the pool the whole time. With facilities equal to many other hotels in Matheran, Kumar Plaza I would say is a pleasant stay at affordable rates. Good, clean AC rooms with different amenities and a helpful and good staff. And not to forget the good food served 3 times with 2 time Hi Tea. They definitely have good chefs here. One can also enjoy different amusements at the hotel or just wander in the outside market. Positives: - In the market location( just 5-7 min walk from Matheran station) - Affordable good and clean rooms with facilities equal to other hotels'. - Good food. - Good helpful staff. Negatives: - Some improvement required in amenities terms. - Last year wheels of sofa cum bed was broken. This year some lights (profile lights, etc.) and switches didn't work. Overall a nice and pleasant stay at Kumar Plaza."

"Receptionist staff Mr. Luke Parera and the front desk manager were very rude and they treated us with very unacceptable behaviour. They promised us with the best service while booking but during our staff we were provided with low facilities. We booked super deluxe room but we were given very low standard rooms. No fridge, no telecoms for room service, no internet connection in our area, very low room facilities."
