SShauna McFaulFor our stay, we booked a studio apartment at The Sweet. The room was lovely and kitchenette was well-equipped. We were able to cook meals there over the days of Christmas when most restaurants and shops were closed. The location is a little outside of the center- nice and quiet but easy to access public transit.
My biggest issue with this hotel was that communication was very… odd. As the booking notes, I called the hotel in advance to schedule my check-in. When my call was answered, I told them who I was and that I was calling to schedule my check in (for a time when the booking said check in is available). I was told no one would be at reception at that time (3pm on Dec 23) and they would text me instructions for how to check myself in. Then she confirmed my phone number and asked for my email address, but when I started to give it, she said, “oh, that’s ok. We can’t use email anyway”. Odd. Before getting off the phone, I had her confirm that I would receive a text the next day with instructions to check in.
Our train arrived around 2pm in Oslo and we still hadn’t received a text, so we waited at the train station thinking perhaps they would send the text right at 3pm since that was the time I had requested. At 3, I still hadn’t received anything, so we called the hotel again. A different employee answered from the one I had spoken to the day before. I gave my name and explained that I was calling because I had scheduled check in the day before but hadn’t received the information to check in. The employee asked where I was and told me that there were people staffing reception to help us check in, which I thought was odd because the previous employee told me no one would be there. When we got to the hotel, we rang the bell and got into the building, but reception is apparently in the basement- there is only a very tiny sign that says this- so we missed it and I called them again. A man came up with our keys and got us set to go.
We got into our room and it was lovely! About 5 hours later, I got a call from Trip saying that the hotel is trying to contact me because they are wondering why I hadn’t checked in and they don’t have a way to get in touch with me. I was sitting in the hotel room when I got this call. I told the Trip representative that I was checked in and it was fine for her to give my phone and email to the hotel.
I know the communication elements have taken up a huge portion of my review and I know they are not the end of the world, but I want to share them because I believe it would be quite simple to avoid situations like this in the future and make the guest experience that much more pleasant at The Sweet.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Oslo!
리리뷰어The location was excellent....close to downtown plus there was an interesting restaurant area behind the hotel that bordered the Akerselva (?) River. However, many of these restaurants were large and did not appeal to me for this reason (see below).
It was also an easy walk to Oslo Central Station.
The hotel itself was appealing - with a nicely decorated lobby.
I was disappointed with the service from the Front Desk staff, who were busy with ”reception related” tasks and had little time to discuss areas of interest in the City. Often there was no one at the front desk.
Also, the bar/restaurant attached to the hotel did not open until the evening, and while there were restaurants close by, many of these were large open spaces and not ”warm”
BBianca HengNo regrets choosing this hotel for stockholm. The view right outside the hotel is breathtaking! We were greeted by this spectacular scenery every morning. Wished we could stay more days here. My family room was huge and comfortable. Breakfast was good. All in all, my family had a good time here. One thing to take note, it would be so more easier if you drive as the hotel is located uphill. Though the metro is just nearby, it is going to be difficult i.with a luggage.
XXMHACTCHighly recommended. The hotel is part of an old post office, located right behind a bus stop, 100m from a tram stop and 500m from Oslo Central Station. There are restaurants just downstairs or nearby. The room is large enough and well-equipped, with a washing machine, a big drying rack, a microwave and all utensils. There is a public room for (self-service, super convenient, pretty large space) luggage storage facilities and all the necessites (tea packs, towels, linens, and ear plugs etc., though it is quiet at night) Everything is done on app, including check-in/out and opening the doors.
However, the door-opening function in the app doesn't work sometimes so you have to use code instead (there's no reception). Also, you have to go through some stairs at entrance and a winding passage to reach your room. The room is a little bit dark at night (even with all the lights on) for reading and writing. The TV is located in a weird position.

조식은 다양하고 풍성해서 비즈니스 호텔 수준의 조식을 제공합니다. 음식은 금방 채워지기 때문에 사람이 너무 많아도 부족할 걱정이 없습니다.
단점은 침대가 너무 푹신하다는 것입니다. 며칠 자고 나니 허리가 정말 부러질 것 같습니다. 이 외에는 다른 단점이 없습니다.
CCaoyifanmama화려한 색상의 체인 호텔로, 중앙 기차역에서 도보 5분 거리에 있어 기차 환승이 매우 편리했습니다. 호텔 조식은 연어와 노르웨이산 브라운 치즈가 무제한으로 제공되는 등 훌륭했습니다. 전반적인 서비스도 매우 좋았습니다. 단점이라면 객실이 다소 작고 편의시설이 기본적인 수준이라는 점입니다. 유럽인과 미국인 투숙객이 꽤 많았습니다. 전반적으로 매우 만족스러운 숙박이었습니다.
리리뷰어우선, 저와 아기가 짐을 3개나 가져갔는데, 리셉션 직원이 전혀 도와주고 싶어하지 않는 것 같았습니다. 체크아웃을 했을 때, 매우 친절하고 열정적인 리셉셔니스트를 만났습니다. 호텔의 입지가 좋고, 비용 효율성이 높습니다. 이 가격은 일본에서 사는 것보다 훨씬 편안해요.

팁 하나 드리자면, 지하철역에서 호텔까지 내비**션을 처음 사용하시는 경우, 긴 계단으로 안내될 수 있는데, 짐이 많으면 불편할 수 있어요. 리셉션으로 가려면 옆쪽 경사로를 이용하시는 게 좋습니다. 저는 처음에 계단 옆에 있는 호텔 헬스장에 엘리베이터가 있는 줄 알고 프런트 데스크에 문의했는데, 직원분께서 다른 길로 가야 한다고 알려주셨어요. 특히, 제 짐을 들어주시려고 긴 계단을 직접 내려가 주신 프런트 직원분께 정말 감사드렸습니다. 아쉽게도 이름표를 확인하지 못해서 죄송했어요.

조식도 훌륭했고, 무료 저녁 식사도 매일 다른 메뉴로 나와서 좋았어요. 오후에는 간단한 간식과 커피를 즐길 수 있는 피카(Fika) 시간도 마련되어 있었어요.

리리뷰어이 호텔을 예약했을 때 모든 사람들의 리뷰를 읽었는데 매우 극단적이었습니다. 좋은 리뷰도 있고 나쁜 리뷰도 있어요! 체크인하고 나서야 그 이유를 알 수 있었습니다. 우리는 여행 내내 스탠다드룸을 예약했지만 두 번 머물렀습니다. 처음 도착했을 때는 일요일 오전 9시쯤이었습니다. 원래는 일찍 체크인할 수 없을 거라 생각했는데, 긴 비행 끝에 방 4개가 모두 비어 있을 줄은 몰랐습니다. 이번에 2박을 묵는 동안 방도 꽤 넓고 커피머신까지 갖춰져 있었어요! 몇 개의 더러운 컵과 불충분한 가열을 제외하고는 문제가 없었습니다! 하지만 두 번째 체크인을 했을 때 배정받은 방은 더 작았고 커피 머신도 없었지만 하룻밤만 묵어도 상관없었어요! 유일한 문제는 샤워실에 있는 샤워기 헤드가 별로 좋지 않고, 물이 너무 느리고 물이 쌓이기 쉽다는 점이에요! 아직 난방이 안되네요~ 게다가 호텔 위치도 지하철 4.5호선과 바로 인접해있어서 정말 좋아요! 옆에는 23:00까지 영업하는 협동 슈퍼마켓이 있습니다.
