Was a great experience. We came from an horror hotel to this one and it was like finding paradise

I recently stayed at the Ravens Cliff Hotel Lodge by Marston's Inns, and found it to be a clean and comfortable choice for accommodation. The rooms were well-maintained, providing a good night's rest in a peaceful setting. One of the perks I noticed was a discount offered in the restaurant for hotel residents, though it's important to mention that this is only available if you book directly through the hotel, which was a bit disappointing. During my dining experiences at the hotel restaurant, I felt that the staff could have been more welcoming and friendly. While the service was efficient, a warmer interaction would have greatly enhanced the overall experience. Nonetheless, the food quality was satisfactory. Overall, the Ravens Cliff Hotel Lodge offers a decent stay, especially if you're looking for a straightforward, no-frills accommodation with the convenience of an on-site restaurant. It's a suitable choice for travelers seeking basic comfort and cleanliness.

Sadly the excitement of the location and alleged star rating was soon swept away even as you approach the car park. It looks sad. We were shown the empty restaurant but no menu, no room folder either to entice you to dine. Room was freezing and no thermostat we asked about heating or if there was a warmer room. Reception cheerily moved us to a room facing the sun, that hadn’t been cleaned, we then successfully relocated. The wait in the corridor for room keys was used to spot the dust and broken lampshades. The new room was pleasant and reasonably clean but still no working heating and had grown cold after we had visited a local restaurant so we requested a heater, it was broken and another found but this would not have passed any H&S inspection. We were very grateful to the receptionist who must be desperate for some investment to make her job less of a fighting fire role. Breakfast had a huge buffet with 3 cars in car park? We shared the room with one couple. The fried egg and black pudding were fine bacon sadly another story, the view of the patio overlooking the Loch should be wonderful but is somewhat marred by neglect. I’m still nursing a bruise on my foot where the anti theft device failed on shampoo dispenser in the bath. This mainly down to lack of investment but management skills should transform the guest experience for very little cost. £10 for a pint and half of Cola doesn’t encourage you to buy another round wonder why no one else was in bar at 9pm.

우리 중 30명은 2박 숙박을 위해 도착했고 두 밤 모두 레스토랑은 우리 중 많은 사람들이 다른 곳에서 식사를 할 수 없었습니다. 한 구석에 손님을 위한 아침 식사 공간이 있는 아주 작은 레스토랑입니다. 체크인, 직원 및 객실은 괜찮 았고 우리 모두를위한 아침 식사도 신속하게 제공되었습니다. 레스토랑에는 식당을 위한 알코올 면허만 있지만 근처에 많은 펍이 있다는 것을 알았습니다. 주요 도로에서 주요 도로에서 호텔 입구까지 몇 걸음 거리에 있지만 주차장에서 더 나은 접근이 가능합니다. 근처에 2개의 기차역과 주요 도로가 있는 글래스고에서 호텔을 찾는 것보다 낫습니다.

건물 전체의 조명이 매우 미묘합니다. 멋지고 편안한 음악과 분위기. 욕실에는 손과 목욕 수건이 하나뿐이었고 침대 바닥에 더 많았지 만 체크 아웃 할 때까지 이것을 찾을 수있는 곳을 알지 못했습니다. 나는 두 번째 수건이 없다는 것을 깨닫기 전에 샤워를하고 있었고 전화 수신이 너무 늦었습니다. 예약에는 방에 2개의 이름이 있었기 때문에 침대 아래가 아닌 욕실에서 적절한 수건을 기대하거나 방에서 볼 수 있었습니다.
