Great hotel .large well equipped rooms . A bath in shower. Had 2 fans.ironn hairdryer and a fridge. 2 double beds in room. Plenty of tea and coffees. Large open reception area and reasonably priced restaurant. Great pool . jacuzzi.steam room and sauna with free towels.hotel was clean and tidy . Staff were friendly

A lovely hotel with comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast was faultless and we had dinner there one evening which again was very good.
The staff are friendly and helpful.

This is an old building near the waterfront. The sounds of seagulls can be heard outside; great atmosphere!
The building itself has kind of claustrophobic feel to it. It has small rooms, low ceilings, narrow, winding stairways, and sloping floors. If open and airy is your preference, this is the wrong place.
But the staff are very capable and friendly. It’s a short walk from both the ferry port and the train station. Hope to visit again.

I was not expecting much from the hotel we only booked in due to needing somewhere close to stay by Port Lympne, but I won’t be returning, the hotel all needs a bit of a refurbish rooms are a little dated and the pool/spa especially need a massive refresh tiles look mouldy and holes in walls everywhere, there was dust on our bedside tables plus the furniture in the bedrooms were also extremely dated

Lovely hotel, stayed for a long weekend and used the spa facilities - they gave us a free upgrade which was a nice touch! Beautiful grounds, restaurant was lovely and only a short scenic walk to the town
Only critique was the pool was quite small without much seating available and the sauna was male or female only - but the rest of the stay and amenities more than made up for it!
Also recommend the afternoon tea :)

Fantastic stay in the newly and tastefully decorated Clifton Hotel. We received a very warm welcome from friendly and helpful staff, and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a great location opposite the beach with lovely walks along The Leas and also boasts a Marco Pierre White restaurant on site which has made for a definite return visit. A delicious breakfast was included in our stay with a huge choice of cooked or continental dishes and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Will be returning very soon.

The perfect location and food in the restaurant is also good. If you plan to check-in after 10-11 PM, I would suggest having dinner before going.

하룻밤 동안 지나쳤습니다. 87 년 호텔은 비교적 오래되었습니다. 왜 그런지 모르겠습니다. 손님이 많지 않은 경우 프론트 데스크는 여전히 1 층에 방을주었습니다. 호텔에는 창문이없고 사람이 많지 않은 실내 수영장이 있습니다. 야외에는 거대한 골프 연습장이 있습니다. 골프를 치는 손님에게 적합합니다.

XXRMThis was genuinely a wonderful and most special place.
The Rocksalt Rooms are in a separate building to the Restaurant - but you check in at the latter and walk you over. Note all the streets here are cobbled, which can be slippery when wet.
They are a real BoltHole as they are described, and there are only four total. 2 on 1st floor, 2 on 2nd floor, with one per floor harbour facing. I'd definitely suggest that the upgrade is worth it.
The rooms are compact but exceptionally well presented. I've odd little niggles, theres no bedside of any kind - floating shelf would work, where do you put your mobile? And the metal bed frame is ornate and was loose on the footboard.
The biggest challenge is where to put things. There are a few hangers on the back of the door and a small set of hooks, but not a drawer or proper place at all. I get space is a real premium here - bedside with 2 drawers all you need!
The wet room is compact as everyone says. You won't keep the floor area outside the shower dry, it's not possible. The sink is a corner one with no space to place things but there is shelf in the bathroom for all your luxuries. The body wash / conditioner / hand soap / hand moisturiser are great quality.
Noise - it's by the Harbour so they start early, but for us it was part of the charm of the location, the fresh fish smell was totally incredible.
Breakfast is not to be missed, across in the restaurant with the best view, it's harbour side. Loved the granola, yoghurt, compote starter. I had English Breakfast as I was hungry, it was great quality but disappoining - it was more style over substance. The bacon is cooked to crispy, not my style at all but great quality. He had the Salmon & Eggs and it won hands down. Local, fresh, decent portion, on wonderful Sourdough. Luckily I was saved a bite.
A point or two more - the bedside light fused the circuit and the room was plunged into darkness. Looked for fuse box, could not find. Ended up in Restsurant. They had to get keys to a location they used to own but don't now (ground floor of the Rooms building). This took a while as the keys had to be obtained. I get how this used to work, but not now - the fuse box needs moving. The if we cant fix option was check out and refund - erm no!!
There is the most incredible Team member behind the Bar/ Restaurant from Bulgaria whose name I have really tsckily forgotten. For which I apologise.
She is truly wonderful and made the visit for me, id return solely to see her again!!!
Overall we loved Rocksalt Rooms and would return, to have dinner in the restaurant too!

리리뷰어We were staying here for 2 nights because of its proximity to Brands Hatch circuit. The room was very clean but very cold on arrival. However, luckily, we discovered a heater in the wardrobe. The dining experience was not good….the menu is very sparse and the service was very poor. They only had one very sweet rose’ wine available and we had to go to the bar to buy it as we couldn’t locate anyone to serve us. On Friday evening, they seemed to only have one waitress on duty and the hotel was full. When the bill arrived, after perusing it, we discovered that they had added a service charge to it which we did not pay. Whilst checking the bill later, we discovered that they had added an extra glass of wine to it, which we didn’t have. This is not a cheap hotel but the restaurant/service does not match their aspirations. We only stay here because of its location and would willingly stay elsewhere if there was a hotel available.

AAllanChecking in at reception was quick & easy. The room was spacious with a large king-size bed which was comfy and the room was toasty. Good value, would recommend and stay again.

바와 레스토랑은 다시 오크 기둥, 실제 석조 슬래브 바닥, 편안한 좌석과 멋진 테이블로 매우 전통적이었습니다. 바는 매우 다양한 맥주, 더 큰 와인, 칵테일 및 주류를 제공했습니다. 바 서비스는 훌륭했고 가격은 합리적이었습니다. 레스토랑 서비스는 친절하고 훌륭했습니다. 메뉴 범위도 매우 좋았고 가격은 다시 매우 합리적이었습니다. 아침 식사가 포함되어 있으며 선택과 서비스가 좋습니다. 주차장은 적절하고 무료였습니다.
한 가지 실망은 오후에 언제든지 사용할 수있는 바 음식이 없다는 것입니다.
나는이 호텔을 다시 사용할 것입니다.
