CCoradeCecilia먼저, 호텔 위치는 로마 최대 기차역(Termini)에서 멀지 않았고, 걸어서 10분 정도 걸렸습니다. 주변에 식당과 작은 슈퍼마켓도 많아서 편리했어요.
프런트 직원의 서비스는 다소 성의 없었고, 설명도 불충분했습니다. 현관문에 잠금장치가 없어서, 이전에 묵었던 다른 이탈리아 호텔들처럼 여러 겹의 문으로 보안이 철저했던 곳들과 비교하니 안전하다고 느껴지지 않았습니다.
방 문 잠금장치도 특이했는데, 카드를 찍고 한참을 씨름해도 문이 밀리지도 당겨지지도 않았어요. 프런트에 물어보니 그냥 밀라고 하던데, 아마 세게 밀어야 한다는 의미였던 것 같습니다. 방은 과장 없이 중국의 '루자 호텔(如家)' 같은 저렴한 호텔과 다를 바 없었는데, 가격은 거의 4배나 비쌌어요. 여닫을 수 있는 창문이 있어 환기는 잘 되었고, 방 방향은 조용했지만 아래층에는 환풍기들이 줄지어 있었습니다.
호텔에서 네로의 황금 궁전과 콜로세움까지는 약 1.8km 정도였고, 그날 저녁에 한번 둘러보러 갔는데 왕복으로 걷기에도 그리 멀지 않은 거리였습니다.
로마 치안이 좋지 않다고 들었는데, 여권을 금고에 보관하려 했으나 금고가 고장 나 있었습니다... 게다가 와이파이도 제 휴대폰으로 계속 연결되지 않았어요. 물론 거리나 기차역에서 소매치기로 의심되는 사람을 특별히 보지는 못했고, 오히려 기차역에는 경찰이 꽤 많았습니다.
로마 자체는 매우 방문할 가치가 있는 도시입니다. 경사가 있는 지형과 고저차, 곳곳의 계단, 오르막 내리막이 많은 도로가 밀란과는 매우 다른 느낌을 주며, 역사와 세월의 흔적이 가득했습니다.

MMichael_KOur stay at the Viminale View Hotel was an acceptable one - but we would unlikely return on a future visit to Rome.
Arriving at the hotel in the early afternoon, we were pleased to be allowed to check in ahead of the published time (14:00hrs). The service was friendly and efficient and we were quickly shown to our room - that being a ‘deluxe’ room at the end of a corridor. Room number 1 was to be our home for four nights.
The room was of a good size and well-equipped e.g. towels, tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge (with optional mini-bar), a television and a bathroom - with an excellent free standing bath tub in the centre of the bedroom.
Perhaps my biggest gripe with the hotel was the disappointing view from the room. A ‘Viminale View’ it most certainly was not. Interestingly, room number 1 was the only room on the wrong side of the building. All others, including cheaper standard rooms, had the all-important Viminale view. In fact, not from anywhere in the hotel could we see the Viminale, since the reception area too was without any windows.
Our two windows looked out onto a gutter on one side and an adjacent building on the other.
We paid a little extra for breakfast, which was of a simple but acceptable standard. Given the size of the hotel with just 10 rooms, an extravagant buffet was not expected. More a continental selection, there was enough to keep us going until lunchtime. Cold meats, cheese, bread, pastries, yoghurts, toast etc, with scrambled egg and sausage available as hot options. Hot drinks were made on request.
As a smaller establishment, this accommodation appeared only ever to be staffed by one person at a time, which somewhat impacted service. Once seated for breakfast, we were provided with a hot drink and then left to it. There was no opportunity to request further drinks, which was a little disappointing. And on one occasion, we watched as a guest had to go in search of a member of staff in order to get a cup of coffee.
Perhaps in the mornings, especially with breakfast to provide and guests occasionally checking out, a second staff member would be beneficial.
House-keeping was of a good standard but returning on our last night, we were keen to enjoy a coffee, only to find that our supplies had not been replenished and our cups were still dirty on the side. As a hotel unstaffed after 17:00hrs, it wasn’t a simple case of calling for some coffee, rather just going without.
Whilst an enjoyable stay, the view from the room and the lack of hotel staff beyond 17:00hrs just didn’t work for us.

테르미니역에서도 도보 8분 정도였고, 지하철도 가깝고 편리했습니다.
호텔의 스탭도 여러분 애상도 좋고 매우 친절했습니다.
아침 식사도 매우 충실하고 있어 5박 했습니다만 매일 아침 즐거웠습니다.

I servizi offerti dalla struttura sono di qualità , la colazione al primo posto varia e abbondante. L unico neo che ho trovato in questo viaggio è stato il fatto che la camera ha avuto dei problemi la sera al mio arrivo c’è stato un problema strutturale che poteva capitare a chiunque che non è stato possibile risolverlo al momento perché eravamo arrivati ad un ora troppo tarda e che il fatto che non sia stato possibile risolverlo nell’ immediato ha reso il nostro soggiorno della prima notte non troppo confortevole. Al mattino dopo dopo aver valutato che il problema non poteva essere risolto prontamente ci hanno cambiato camera in una uguale a quella che avevamo prenotato e il soggiorno come sempre è andato benissimo. L unica cosa che mi sarei aspettata era quello di un rimborso anche solo parziale per il grosso inconveniente subito ma questo non è stato fatto , è vero che da parte nostra non è stato richiesto, ma mi sembrava doveroso che fosse fatto senza chiederlo.
Perciò 10+ al personale anzi se fosse possibile darei 11 un po’ meno alla direzione.
