SShalinda WThis homestay (B&B) was Amazing! Coming from the US, and not being able to speak Chinese, we just planned to not take advantage of any hotel transportation. This hotel reached out to us via chat on Trip and coordinated pick-up a couple days prior, allowing us to use translation apps. Our train arrived several hours before scheduled check-in for the hotel, wasn’t an issue at all. Check-in was quick and we received some local goodies as well as a fruit basket. Amenities for the room are amazing, room itself is fully electronic and state of the art. The blow dryer was Dyson! We planned to walk to lunch, they kindly gave us a free ride. Breakfast was great as well with some local specialities (all fresh, not a buffet). This homestay was so welcoming and amazing, it made us sad we had only planned one night in Datong!

리리뷰어This hotel combines the convenience of modern high tech with the spiritual beauty of traditional culture. The rooms themselves are constructed around courtyards that give a sense of what life might have been like in Datong many centuries ago. In the lobby and in the rooms, murals decorate the walls with elegant designs of birds or flowers. The cabinets, bench, and floors made of wood and the countertops made of marble work together well and draw on design choices that are classicly, universally appealing. At the same time, the entire room is wired with the amenties of modernity. The toilet has a seat warmer and a light that turns on when you lift the lid so that you can find it in the middle of the night. Similarly, there seem to be motion-sensitive lights throughout the room that light up when you walk in the middle of the night so that you can find your way around. The water in the shower and the bathtub is able to get very hot (which I love!) and has high pressure. There is also a top-of-the-line hair dryer. It's the perfect blend of high tech and traditional amenities! If I have one complaint it's that the room was so hot that I had to open my window to let in the freezing air, and still the room was hot! That shows how effective the heating system is!
The serivce at the hotel is also extraordinary! All the members of hotel reception are very friendly. And they send someone to your room shortly after you settle in to give you a platter of fruit, which was fresh and seasonal and artistically chosen it seems. They also have 24 hours service in case you need anything. My friend went into the lobby early in the morning shouting about coffee, and the staff came out quickly to make him a cup.
The hotel is also very clean. The blankets, the pillows, and the sheets are as white as snow. The floors are free of dust and dirt and smudges. Everything in the shower and toilet room was scrubbed clean too. And the shower drains smoothly without pooling any water, showing how well it is maintained.
Finally, the location is very convenient. You can see that for yourself by just looking at the map. But I would like to add that just outside the gate of the hotel, you can see the Prince's palace, which is beautifully lit at night. What's more, my favorite restaurant in downtown Datong (I think the restaurant is translated as BeiWei Family Garden or something like that) is less than 5 minutes walking from the gate. There are also multiple shops for buying vinegar or wine or shaji snacks. In less than 10 minutes, you can also walk to all the major commercial streets. I love the location of this hotel!

리리뷰어저희는 23일간 중국을 여행하며 9개의 호텔에 묵었습니다. 주저 없이 Floral에서의 숙박은 여러 면에서 특별했다고 말할 수 있습니다. 첫째, 호텔 구조가 매우 아름답고, 이 지역의 전통적인 스타일을 그대로 유지하면서 리모델링되었습니다. 호텔 객실 자체는 아마도 저희가 여행 내내 본 것 중 가장 아름다웠습니다. 넓고, 창문이 실제로 열렸으며, 에어컨도 잘 작동하고, 현대적인 인테리어와 가구가 과하지 않으면서도 아름다웠습니다. 둘째, 호텔은 성벽 안에 있고 구시가지의 일부이기 때문에 걸어 다니며 전통 가옥을 구경하는 것이 정말 아름다웠습니다. 그중 많은 가옥이 전통 양식으로 리모델링되어 있었습니다. 셋째, 그리고 가장 중요한 것은 호텔에서 일하는 사람들의 친절입니다. 휴가 중에 이곳만큼 환영받는 느낌을 받은 적은 없었습니다. 안타깝게도 저는 건강 문제가 있어서 유럽에서 가져온 것과 같은 항생제가 필요했습니다. 리셉션에 가장 가까운 약국이 어디인지 물어봤는데, 리셉션 직원인 샤오 류 씨가 직접 안내하는 대신 어떤 항생제가 맞는지 알아내서 가져다주셨어요. 여행 가방이 필요했을 때도 마찬가지였어요. 가게까지 직접 데려다주는 대신, 원하는 여행 가방에 대해 물어보니 한 시간 만에 도착했어요. 음료는 언제든 무료로 제공되었고, 조식(중국 음식과 세계 음식 - 샌드위치)은 푸짐하고 무제한이었어요. 동굴에서 늦게 돌아와 기차를 타야 할 때, 샤오 류 씨가 모든 여행 가방을 기차역까지 바로 가져다주셨어요. 이 모든 친절은 영원히 잊지 못할 거예요. 그리고 저희를 집처럼 편안하게 해 준 샤오 류 씨와 호텔 직원들에게 여전히 감사하고 있어요. 플로럴 호텔 직원들 덕분에 다퉁은 영원히 저희 마음속에 남을 거예요. 다퉁은 방문할 수 있는 놀라운 문화 명소만으로도 충분히 특별한 곳이지만, 플로럴 호텔의 아름다움과 멋진 직원들 덕분에 그곳에서 보낸 시간은 결코 잊지 못할 거예요. 매우 감사합니다!!!!

리리뷰어Wow, I loved this homestay! The lively and kind lady who runs Yishui homestay is a good English speaker and very patient, so foreigners as well as Chinese will feel at ease staying here. It is a very hospitable atmosphere!
Location is in the pedestrianized part of the old city, very near the Drum Tower. Therefore, there is lots to see/do/eat while walking nearby. But the location is also not far from the driving road, so it was an easy, short walk to meet my driver when going out to the hanging temple, the grottos, and the train station. The facility is an old-style courtyard home, with a beautiful wood-beam ceiling. The interior rooms are completely renovated and modernized, with great water pressure, all necessary toiletries, an excellent quality hair dryer, slippers, and super air-con/heating! (It was -3 one night during my stay, but I was warm and comfy in that room!) Clean towels are brought daily. Breakfast was included in my stay and I was very happy with the food. It is an ample Chinese-style breakfast, and you can inform the cook if there is some food you don't/can't eat. Although the breakfast was plenty of food for me, I saw a guest ask for more baozi, and he was kindly given 2 more. Fresh fruit was also offered for free several times during my stay.
Within a 5 minute radius (walking), there are many eating places for lunch, dinner, snacks, and tea/coffee. There are also numerous historical sites (dragon wall, temples, ”mansions”, the Catholic Church, etc.) in easy walking distance. In fact, there was so much to see nearby that I was not able to see everything! The homestay looks very charming, and many, many people were often seen stopping to take photos in front of the homestay, as well as on the back wall of the homestay, which is next to a Chinese Opera stage--it is especially lovely at night! It is a 10-15 minute walk to the ancient city wall, where you can climb up and enjoy the sights, or visit a (Chinese) bookstore within the city wall, under one of the arches.
My Beijing friends, who stayed at a nearby hotel, were equally impressed when they came to visit me in Yishui homestay, and they got the WeChat contact so that they can return to stay at Yishui homestay on a return trip--so easy to get there by fast train from Beijing!

KKatrin SauthoffMy husband and I are a couple from Germany. We booked two nights there, and our decision was absolutely the right one. From the initial contact (via the WeChat app, which is essential for your entire trip to China) to our departure, everything was perfect. We were picked up from the train station by car and taken to the hotel free of charge. This is especially good for Western tourists who don't speak Chinese. The first problem would have been explaining to the taxi where we wanted to go. The lobby and rooms are very beautiful, stylish, and equipped with the highest technology. Most of the guest rooms face the inner courtyard, so you can sleep very quietly and comfortably. The beds are very large and comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent. It's located on the northern edge of the Ancient City of Datong, just a few minutes' walk from the tourist attractions and the colorful and lively old town. So you can enjoy it without being disturbed by noise. I would especially like to emphasize the friendliness of the staff. Unfortunately, we don't speak Chinese, and the staff didn't speak English, but with the help of modern communication tools (language apps), we understood each other perfectly. Every request was fulfilled. There's even the option to use a washing machine in the basement of the hotel. This is especially fantastic for tourists on longer trips to China, as it allows for easy laundry. If you ever come back to China, we will definitely book this hotel again.

I have been here already 2 times and I will come back for sure when more friends come to China and want to visit the amazing caves and the great atmosphere of the old town. 익익명 사용자저는 큰방을 좋아해서 패밀리룸을 예약했는데 3일 묵으면 추가 할인이 되네요. 호텔은 다퉁 기차역 옆 건물의 20~21층에 있습니다. 아래층은 에게해 쇼핑 공원입니다. 지하 2층은 호텔 주차장입니다. 주차 요금은 사전에 지불하셔야 하며 호텔에서 상환해 드립니다. 나중에. 객실 장식은 단순하며 수건, 컵 및 기타 도구는 일회용입니다. 위생상태는 좋습니다. 첫 번째 배정받은 방은 세탁실 옆에 있었고 하수구 냄새가 나서 빨리 다른 방으로 옮겼습니다. 기차역 근처에 Tonghe Hotel이 있는데, 정통 다퉁 요리를 제공하며 비싸지 않습니다. 호텔에서 300m 떨어진 Wuding West Street에 Fudao 국수 레스토랑도 있으며 6시 30분에 아침 식사를 제공하며 맛이 좋습니다.

HHefengbiyun방은 매우 깨끗하고 잘 정리되어 있습니다. 별도의 방에 큰 침대와 작은 침대가 있으며, 거실도 있어 특히 어린이와 함께 여행하기에 적합합니다. 객실 내에는 직접 식수공급관이 있어서 물을 끓이기에 편리합니다. 호텔은 크고 주차장도 넉넉합니다. 호텔은 교통이 편리하고, 근처에 레스토랑과 슈퍼마켓이 많고, 위치도 좋습니다. 웨이터가 제공한 서비스는 훌륭했습니다. 웨이터: 리 용화, 류 메이란, 딩 차이차오는 모두 매우 열정적이고 세심했습니다. 엄지척.
