Elegant and luxurious hotel located in a beautifully renovated palace of royal family of Kolkata. Our room was very spacious, beautifully furnished with old, wooden furniture. The huge bathroom and all floors are made of marble. The hotel is located in multiple buildings of the palace complex. Delicious breakfast can be eaten outside in shaded patio or inside in air conditioned restaurant. Every evening there is a live show of folk dance performers. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.

Amazing hotel! The attentive service by each person made the stay very special. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. Fantastic breakfast and the spa is well worth a visit. Highly recommend!

The room provided was decent—clean, well-organized, and equipped with the expected amenities for a four-star property. The bed was comfortable, and the room had adequate lighting and storage space. The bathroom was functional and clean, although not particularly luxurious. In terms of comfort and upkeep, the room met my expectations. One feature I particularly appreciated was the hotel’s gym facility. It was clean, well-maintained, and had a decent range of equipment for a quick workout. For a short stay, it was more than sufficient and a welcome amenity for anyone looking to stay active while traveling. However, one significant downside was the dining experience. My stay at DNG The Grand Hotel in Kanpur was nothing short of exceptional. Whether you’re in the city for business or leisure, this hotel offers the perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and top-tier hospitality that truly makes you feel at home — but with luxury. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was smooth and welcoming. The staff was incredibly polite, professional, and attentive throughout my stay. They were quick to respond to any request and always greeted with a warm smile, which made the experience even more pleasant. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed. 매우 친절한 직원과 좋은 위치. 별 3개는 조금 높지만. 오히려 별 2,5개입니다. 아침 식사는 유럽식과 인도식의 좋은 시작이었습니다. 방은 작고 낡았고 AC는 시끄럽습니다. 그러나 누가 신경을 쓰겠습니까? 당신은 당신의 방에 머물기 위해 콜카타에 가지 않습니다. 지붕에는 먹고 마실 수 있는 테라스가 있었습니다. 모두 훌륭한 숙박. 다음에 확실히 돌아올 것입니다

We stayed at The Peerless Inn, Kolkata for two nights. The overall experience was pleasant. The room and bathroom were excellent—clean, spacious, and comfortable. A special thanks to Ms. Neha at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful right from check-in and arranged our room very quickly. We are especially grateful to Mr. Somnath, his hospitality truly stood out. “Thank you” doesn’t feel enough to express our appreciation for his kindness and service. We also had the chance to try the Aaheli restaurant for authentic Bengali cuisine. Every dish was absolutely delicious. The restaurant manager, Mr. Sanjib, was very warm and made us feel truly welcome. The breakfast had a good variety and the food was delicious. However, the staff at the breakfast restaurant were not very polite and lacked a welcoming attitude or smiles, which slightly affected the morning experience. Overall, our stay was wonderful, except for the breakfast restaurant staff’s attitude. We would definitely recommend Peerless Inn for its great location, comfortable rooms, and exceptional hospitality from key members of the team.

Good location for tourist spots but quite noisy if you don't like the constant noise of beeping horns from the nearby road (not sure if it is even possible to escape this in India). It did get better between say 10.30pm and 8am). The train (immediately outside the hotel entrance) screeches by but not frequently, boat engines can be heard in the distance but it's on a river 😅. It was a bit of a party boat on some nights (loud and late disco noise if there is an event). The noise stopped at around 9pm one night but went on much later on another night; if your room is close to the bar it may be an issue was wasn't too bad for me as i use ear plugs. The most irritating noise, believe it or not, is people shouting or having loud conversations in the corridors. The room is 3* and there is no safe for your passport, cash, cards etc. The pillows, bed covers and floors were't cleaned particularly well. I had to help myself to consumables from the corridor as they weren't topped up by cleaners. Anyway, a very brief stay could be a good experience, one night maybe.I am pleased to have had the experience and despite the shortfalls would probably recommend it as a one off unique experience, for one or two nights. The breakfast was very good with lovely river views and a chill atmosphere.

It was a pleasant and beautiful experience with you, the staff was awesome and cooperative. The service of food and house-keeping was marvelous. It's a memorable stay with you and i hope i will enjoy the same in future

홀리데이 인 콜카타 호텔에서 하룻밤을 예약했습니다. 첸나이 홀리데이 인에도 묵어봤습니다. 하지만 청결과 편의시설, 객실, 욕실 비품, 바닥 상태가 좋지 않았고, 일부 구역은 소독이 덜 된 것 같았습니다. 객실 바닥도 청결하지 못했습니다. 저희 침대 시트가 찢어져서 제거해 달라고 요청했더니 아주 빠르고 꼼꼼하게 교체해 주었습니다. 하지만 다음 투숙객을 위해 객실 상태를 점검하는 마감 처리가 개선되어야 한다는 점에 실망했습니다. 벽면은 광택이 없었습니다. 62유로 정도를 지불했는데 말이죠. 첸나이 같은 다른 홀리데이 인의 수준을 다시 한번 확인해 봐야 할 것 같습니다. 주문한 음식은 맛있었습니다. 10점 만점에 10점입니다. 하지만 홀리데이 인이라는 브랜드와 콜카타에서 경험한 브랜드는 전혀 맞지 않았습니다. 이 모든 것을 조사해 주셨으면 좋겠습니다.
