수영장 시설을 갖춘 영국 그레이터 맨체스터 호텔

The food selection at breakfast was superb. All the staff were lovely and helpful, especially at breakfast. The swimming pool was always clean and tidy, nothing broken or dirty. Only thing that could have made our stay better was if the pool were open longer

The room was clean and cosy and front-desk was friendly and responsive. We booked mainly to check out the pool, spa and gym as advertised by the hotel. So it was really disappointing when we found out that these facilities were closed on Xmas day and on other days operated at limited hours when we were there. The pool, sauna, steam room and gym are operated by a separate company from the hotel. That meant operating hours of those facilities are not catered for hotel guests at all. And it also meant sharing the facilities with members of the gym. So if you’re thinking of staying here and using the gym or pool, just bear those things in mind. Breakfast selection was quite limited. Very bare selection of any salads or greens. Quite embarrassing as well to see that clean plates were not available several times when there were less than 20 covers at breakfast. I understand it was the holiday season and the hotel is understaffed. But I’m sure this is not the first Christmas or NYE the hotel has encountered.

우리는 주말 동안 맨체스터에 머물렀고 The Midland는 도시를 탐험하기에 완벽한 위치에 있었습니다. 우리가 The Midland에 머물렀던 두 밤 모두 그곳에서 결혼식 파티가 열렸는데, 불행히도 다른 방에서 정기적으로 소음이 들려서 제대로 잠을 잘 수 없었지만, 리셉션에 전화했을 때 최선을 다해 도와주었습니다. 아침에 직원들은 매우 사과했고, 우리에게 보상하기 위해 최선을 다했으며, 보통은 큰 파티가 같은 지역에 머물도록 할 수 있기 때문에 이런 일이 일어나지 않는다고 말했습니다. 멋진 호텔, 멋진 직원, 좋은 위치!

Proper pub food, large quantity and plenty to choose from. Just off the motorway, easy access. Hotel room was clean, warm and very hot shower. Hotel pool was great, only £5 per room, very good value. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

I stayed at the Village Hotel Manchester Cheadle from the 20th to the 21st and accidentally left my Oral-B electric toothbrush and La Mer face wash on the bed. These are high-value items, and I immediately called the hotel on Sunday morning, fully expecting them to be professional and help me retrieve my belongings. Instead, I was met with complete indifference and disregard. Despite their company policy stating that lost items should be returned if found, I was simply told that nothing had been discovered in the room. I am 100% certain I left them on the bed, but instead of investigating further, the staff dismissed my concerns and didn’t even bother to follow up. As a paying customer, I expected a level of care and responsibility, but I received none. The worst part is that when I asked for an update, they merely shrugged it off, stating that “if they could find it, they would have by now,” despite less than 24 hours having passed since my stay. This lack of effort, urgency, and empathy from the hotel is shocking and unacceptable. It feels as though they couldn’t be bothered to take my situation seriously or value me as a guest. I will not be returning, and I urge others to avoid this hotel if you expect any kind of respect or attention to detail regarding your belongings.

아주 청결하고 고급스러우며, 합리적인 가격이 넓은 방을 이용할 수 있었어요. 욕조가 있어서 반식욕하기 좋았어요. 숙소 근처에 tesco와 sainsbury 마켓이 있어서 장보기도 편했어요. 이 숙소를 고민 중인 한국분들이 있다면, 예약을 추천드려요👍👍 (호텔 맞은편에 Alberts's schloos라는 식당이 있는데, 여기 슈바이학센이 미쳤어요. 진짜 강추)

저희는 맨체스터 공항과 기차역에서 매우 가까워서 이 호텔에 묵었습니다. 여행에 아주 편리했죠. 호텔은 전반적으로 괜찮았고 짧은 숙박에 필요한 모든 것을 갖추고 있었습니다. 체크인 과정은 조금 실망스러웠습니다. 직원 한 명이 불친절했거든요. 게다가 싱글 침대 두 개를 요청했는데 처음에는 다른 침대를 주었습니다. 다행히 말씀드린 후에는 바로 고쳐주셨습니다. 객실과 시설은 괜찮았지만 아주 기본적인 수준이었습니다. 고급스러운 시설을 기대하시면 안 됩니다. 공항 근처에서 묵을 곳이 필요한 분들에게는 실용적인 선택입니다.

room was clean beds and ere comfy, the staff weren’t that cheery. The gym and pool facilities which are included and really good. Would stay again.

멋진 아파트와 사우나가 있는 자쿠지가 있어 머물기에 좋은 곳입니다. 위치도 좋고 모든 것에 가깝습니다. Sainsbury도 도로 건너편에 있습니다. 호텔에 머무르는 데 지치고 숙박의 일부로 실제 경험을 원하는 사람에게 좋습니다.

Great stop over on the way to Scotland! Tired the kids out in the pool and even got some Jacuzzi time myself. Great facilities and fit four of us comfortably. The staff couldn’t do more, especially at breakfast when they looked after my kids and showed them the bookcase. Thank you to the lady who used to be a British Airways hostess particularly!
