We chose this hotel primarily for its proximity to the Shantou railway station. The night prior, we stayed at a nearby Hampton but had a disappointing experience, so this was our first stay with a local Chinese chain brand. Check-in was smooth and efficient, although no English was spoken at the front desk. We had requested a higher-floor, quieter room via WeChat in advance and were initially assigned Room 602. Upon entering, the room appeared clean and well-maintained. However, we encountered an unusual and inconvenient issue with the Wi-Fi. Guests are instructed to turn on the TV to access the Wi-Fi password, but we discovered that the TV must remain on in order for the Wi-Fi to function. This was confirmed by multiple staff members, including what appeared to be a front desk supervisor. This setup was quite disruptive, as the TV screen is bright and cannot be dimmed, and the work desk is positioned directly in front of it. To their credit, Ms. Lin—responded promptly and offered to move us to another room (also 602, but with a different layout). The new layout was more practical, with the desk positioned at a 90-degree angle from the TV, which helped mitigate the issue somewhat. That said, the second room had its own drawback: there was a noticeable gap in the window, which allowed in road noise. Since we stayed over the weekend, traffic noise and honking were quite noticeable at night. In addition, we heard neighbors chatting and laughing past midnight. Lotion could be a nice addition too. A small humidifier with scented oil definitely gave a zen touch. Aside from these two issues (Wi-Fi dependency on the TV and sound insulation), the overall stay was comfortable. As a gesture of goodwill, the hotel provided complimentary breakfast. While we are not typically breakfast eaters, we did try the noodle station. The offerings were entirely Chinese-style. One suggestion would be to label the protein options more clearly (in Chinese or English), as we observed multiple guests asking staff about them—one of which turned out to be pig’s heart. Overall, this was a good introduction to a Chinese domestic hotel brand. I learned that they got a few locations in Europe. While there are areas for improvement, particularly in technology setup and soundproofing, the service recovery effort and general room quality made for a satisfactory stay.

We are very happy about with this hotel. Staffs are very helpful, especially Mr Zhang, the frint desk guy. Food is good too. Laundry room is good too. I hope those guest in house, do their own Laundry especially they have their under garment, it is not so nice to ask them to do it for them. Thank you. All the best. Nice location if you are looking for food and great cuisines in Shantou. Location is not far from the higher end shopping malls and busy streets (within 5/8km radius) and high speed station. Professional and yet friendly staff and the manager was very accommodating when enquired about upgrading room with or without bathtub option.

공간이 넓고, 편의시설이 깔끔하고 깨끗하며, 욕실과 화장실이 분리되어 있어 매우 편리합니다. 복층 구조는 아이들이 놀기 좋고, 창문에서 보이는 경치가 아름답고 탁 트인 느낌을 주며, 인근 교통이 편리하고, 서비스도 훌륭하며, 무료 조식도 매우 만족스럽습니다. 심지어 하루 더 예약하기도 했습니다. 즐거운 휴가였습니다. 강력 추천합니다.

방은 작지만, 구석구석을 충분히 활용해서 실용성과 편의성이 가득했고, 사물함도 잘 정돈되어 있었습니다. 수건과 변기 커버는 일회용이라 위생도 완벽했어요! 냄새도 전혀 나지 않았고요! 위치도 좋고, 작은 공원 안에 있어서 쇼핑하기도 정말 편리했습니다. 사장님께서 정말 친절하셔서 직접 오셔서 미리 에어컨도 켜주시고, 지도랑 간식 쿠폰도 주셨어요. 심지어 프런트 데스크 직원분도 한밤중에 테이크아웃 음식을 방까지 배달해 주셨어요. 사랑해요 ❤

산터우 차오 호텔 객실 인테리어가 정말 마음에 들었어요! 트윈룸인데도 공간이 충분히 넓었고, 침대 옆 스마트 컨트롤 패널로 조명을 한 번에 조절할 수 있었어요. 테이블 위에는 차 세트와 무료 차도 비치되어 있어서 세심한 배려가 돋보였습니다. 신중국풍과 차오산 민속 요소를 섞은 스타일인데, 벽 장식화에는 지역 문화가 녹아 있었어요. 서비스 면에서도 신속한 룸서비스는 물론, 현지 맛집과 관광지를 적극적으로 소개해주는 등 정말 친절하고 세심했습니다!

시설: 완전하고 고급스럽습니다. 새롭게 단장한 나무 바닥, 소형 냉장고, 대형 컬러 TV, 새 에어컨, 스마트 화장실, 아름다운 옷장, 새 세탁기, 기능 스위트(별도의 침실, 별도의 세탁실, 별도의 주방, 별도의 욕실). 환경은 조용하고 깨끗하며 깔끔하며 서비스는 세심하고 사려 깊습니다. 원래는 2박을 할 예정이었으나 지금까지 경험하지 못한 편안하고 사려 깊은 경험으로 인해 1박을 더 연기했습니다.

Exceptional Stay – Panorama Sea View Every staff member I encountered – from reception to housekeeping – went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendliness, efficiency, and genuine hospitality really made me feel valued as a guest. They also help to receive my taobao delivery of parcels. Well down for all staff. They also specially provide our room upgrade for seaview to our special honeymoon couple. The hotel’s room & lobby cleanliness is well-maintained. My room felt fresh, tidy, and inviting, with thoughtful touches that showed the care and attention put into daily upkeep. The housekeeping team did an amazing job, and I truly appreciated their promptness and consistency throughout my stay. The location is also a major highlight – conveniently situated near key attractions located at seaside , dining options, yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. It made exploring the area effortless, and I could easily return to the hotel for a quick rest before heading out again. The amenities are well-equipped, thoughtfully designed to cater to both leisure and big group of families. From the helpful lounge areas to the private big room, and in-room conveniences, everything was in place to make my stay both enjoyable and productive. Overall, my experience here was nothing short of excellent. It’s rare to find a place that delivers consistently on all fronts – service, location, and amenities – but this hotel truly does. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their dedication and kindness. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning in the future.

The location is close to several restaurants and shops however, the building itself is looks very old and shabby from the outside. Once you enter the room though it is very aesthetically pleasing while the all white aesthetic is hard to keep clean. The couch looked a little old and dirty when you look closely but in pictures everything looks nice. There is a great cafe and steam bun place down the street for breakfast. It is a 10 minute walk to the harbor where you can walk and relax at night or stroll in the sun during the day. It is a 10 minute drive to Zuimei Beach which was very convenient. From the bridge it is about 25 minute drive, located right in the middle of the island. In general for the price we paid I felt it was totally worth it, the staff was nice, and they helped us park for free about a 5 minute walk down the street. They had toothbrushes in the room but also had an area to get other amenities like mouth wash, hair ties, bug spray, etc. They also had water that you can help yourself to. The best part? At the end of the night they delivered a bag with milk and heated eye masks before bed. This was unexpected and very cute.
