SSurewin27We chose this hotel primarily for its proximity to the Shantou railway station. The night prior, we stayed at a nearby Hampton but had a disappointing experience, so this was our first stay with a local Chinese chain brand.
Check-in was smooth and efficient, although no English was spoken at the front desk. We had requested a higher-floor, quieter room via WeChat in advance and were initially assigned Room 602. Upon entering, the room appeared clean and well-maintained.
However, we encountered an unusual and inconvenient issue with the Wi-Fi. Guests are instructed to turn on the TV to access the Wi-Fi password, but we discovered that the TV must remain on in order for the Wi-Fi to function. This was confirmed by multiple staff members, including what appeared to be a front desk supervisor. This setup was quite disruptive, as the TV screen is bright and cannot be dimmed, and the work desk is positioned directly in front of it.
To their credit, Ms. Lin—responded promptly and offered to move us to another room (also 602, but with a different layout). The new layout was more practical, with the desk positioned at a 90-degree angle from the TV, which helped mitigate the issue somewhat.
That said, the second room had its own drawback: there was a noticeable gap in the window, which allowed in road noise. Since we stayed over the weekend, traffic noise and honking were quite noticeable at night. In addition, we heard neighbors chatting and laughing past midnight.
Lotion could be a nice addition too. A small humidifier with scented oil definitely gave a zen touch.
Aside from these two issues (Wi-Fi dependency on the TV and sound insulation), the overall stay was comfortable. As a gesture of goodwill, the hotel provided complimentary breakfast. While we are not typically breakfast eaters, we did try the noodle station. The offerings were entirely Chinese-style. One suggestion would be to label the protein options more clearly (in Chinese or English), as we observed multiple guests asking staff about them—one of which turned out to be pig’s heart.
Overall, this was a good introduction to a Chinese domestic hotel brand. I learned that they got a few locations in Europe. While there are areas for improvement, particularly in technology setup and soundproofing, the service recovery effort and general room quality made for a satisfactory stay.

I hope those guest in house, do their own Laundry especially they have their under garment, it is not so nice to ask them to do it for them. Thank you. All the best. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and professional welcome from the front desk team. Every staff member I encountered – from reception to housekeeping – went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendliness, efficiency, and genuine hospitality really made me feel valued as a guest. They also help to receive my taobao delivery of parcels. Well down for all staff.
The hotel’s room & lobby cleanliness is well-maintained. My room felt fresh, tidy, and inviting, with thoughtful touches that showed the care and attention put into daily upkeep. The housekeeping team did an amazing job, and I truly appreciated their promptness and consistency throughout my stay.
The location is also a major highlight – conveniently situated near key attractions located in shantou old city , dining options, yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. It made exploring the area effortless, and I could easily return to the hotel for a quick rest before heading out again.
The amenities exceeded my expectations. The facilities were modern, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed to cater to both leisure and big group of families. From the helpful lounge areas to the private VIP big room facilities, and in-room conveniences, everything was in place to make my stay both enjoyable and productive.
Overall, my experience here was nothing short of excellent. It’s rare to find a place that delivers consistently on all fronts – cleanliness, service, location, and amenities – but this hotel truly does. 리리뷰어호텔은 꽤 새것이고 HSR 역에서 멀지 않았습니다. 주장 야시장에서도 꽤 가깝습니다.
방은 괜찮았지만, 체크인할 때 샤워기 손잡이가 고장 나서 방을 바꿔달라고 요청했는데, 기술자를 보내서 고쳐줄 테니 고치지 못하면 방을 바꿔주겠다고 했습니다. 샤워 부스 디자인은 약간 문제가 있었는데, 물이 방 안으로 스며들어서 화장실 칸막이까지 스며들어 바닥이 젖었습니다.
각 방에는 샤워폼, 샴푸, 컨디셔너가 들어 있는 작은 병 하나만 제공되었습니다. 저는 작은 컨디셔너 병 하나만 있어도 괜찮은데, 덩치 큰 어른 두 명이 샤워폼과 샴푸를 작은 병 하나에 어떻게 나눠 쓸 수 있을까요? 그 병 하나로 제 몸의 절반 정도밖에 안 썼을 것 같은데... 하하하. 청소 아주머니를 만나서 더 달라고 했는데, 좀 꺼려하시다가 결국 두 개를 더 주었습니다. 아침에 샤워하는 습관이 있어서 샤워폼은 다 써버렸습니다. 다음 날 아침 청소 아주머니께 다시 여쭤봤더니 '어제 이미 더 가져가셨잖아요'라고 하시더라고요. 흠...
편의용품도 꼼꼼하게 점검하지 않았고, 화장솜(면봉과 화장솜) 중 하나는 사실 이전 투숙객이 남긴 것, 혹은 반쯤 사용한 것이었어요.
이번 숙박의 하이라이트는 아마 붉은 복숭아 쿠에 만들기였을 거예요. 정말 재밌었고, 만든 후에는 바로 드실지, 아니면 다음 날 아침 식사로 드실지 물어보셨어요. 정말 친절한 배려였죠.
전반적으로 꽤 괜찮은 숙박이었어요.

내가 불평하고 싶은 것은 서비스, 가족 여행, 프론트 데스크에 성인용 슬리퍼 한 켤레와 어린이 슬리퍼 한 켤레를 추가로 요청했지만 성인용 슬리퍼 만 배달되었고 두 번 권유를 받았지만 여전히 그렇지 않았습니다. 체크아웃할때까지 도착하지마라 이번이 우리 반달이다 자율주행투어로 묵은 유일한 호텔!
화장실에 종이가 없어요😂 이것도 말문이 막힌데 다행히 전화한지 5분만에 배달되더라구요.
같은 가격의 호텔에는 무료 미니바가 있고 햄튼은 생수 2병만 있고 힐튼 골드카드의 다른 혜택은 누리지 못한다.
아침 웨이터가 따라갈 수 없습니다 😂

리리뷰어Our first time visiting Shantou. This hotel is close to the train station. Basically you can see the train station from the hotel room window. However walking there especially dragging along with the suitcases is a bit of a challenge. We hired a taxi and the fee was 30 Yuen. We were quite surprised with the cleanliness of the hotel room and the hotel itself. We asked for a non smoking room but there was an ash tray in the room but no cigarette smoke smell. The front desk said there is an ash tray in every room. I guess it's a general practice here. I have to mention that the staffs here were super friendly and with lots of patience. We got advices to where to eat, sight seeing, buying train tickets etc. It's like having a guardian behind you, ready to help. The room fee was relatively inexpensive in terms of the big room size, nice modern washroom facility with plenty of clean towels, nice big clean bed. We extended the stay, relaxed in the room and tried the local foods around the hotel area (plenty restaurants in walking distance). Big shopping malls are within walking distance. So far we are very happy with the hotel especially with the front dest staffs and the room service staff. Definitely we will choose this hotel again in the future. Thank you and keep it up.
