This hotel has a lot going for it; incredible view over the city and old castle, impeccably attentive staff, delicious food and excellent amenities. A few items we found not meeting the high quality we expected from a Small Luxury Hotels of the World and Hyatt Regency partner was some things that were lacking. The landscaping was a bit underwhelming and I saw many ****s. The pool area is subjected to the city street noise and multiple sirens go by hourly. There was also a hotel or bar playing music so loud that drifted up the hill to the hotel. They play the pool music fairly loud at the Mamara to mask it. Not great if you are wanting to relax or nap by the pool. Also, our AC would not cool our room. We had to sleep with our ground floor slider open. We called for repair and no one showed up for three hours before we left for the pool, which as someone else mentioned, was quite cool. (Maybe because it’s early May???) I’m glad we are using points to pay for the room rather than out of pocket. We are the highest level of Hyatt Regency and they told us they were upgrading us from garden view to sea view. Ummm, barely. Only if you sit out on the patio and look between two buildings.

Bon rapport qualité prix pour passer 1-2 nuits sur Bodrum pas + . Chambre et SDB assez petite, peu de rangements. Bonne literie. Mini bar petit balcon sympa. Situation géographique, environ 30/40 minutes de marche pour se rendre dans le centre ou au port, mais cela se fait très bien. Stayed for 10 nights on April in a deluxe sea view room, and we loved it. rooms are very large well equipped and views are incredible across Gumbet bay. Very clean, Great beds and bathroom, Found the staff to be very helpful, We enjoyed the pool area which is lovely and never busy, so had it to ourselves the few days we relaxed there. Bear in mind you are at the top of a steep hill when staying here (both down to Gumbet and Bodrum) but it was not an issue (there are taxi stations at the bottom of both sides and a taxi up the hill is £2 if you are feeling lazy. This is an amazing location to explore lovely Bodrum and Gumbet so definitely recommend. Very reasonable too!

This hotel is a gem. We stayer there for 4 nights. Its location is perfect, it is located in a calm neighborhood near the bus station (5minutes on foot) and near the Marina (10minuntes on foot). In the corner, you have a carrefour or a BIM market. The owner is a sweet kind lady, she gave us a lot of interesting adresses to visit around Bodrum. The service is excellent, rooms are perfecty clean, they have mosquito nets on the windows, the AC works fine. Toiletries are offered and a cleaning service is offered on demand (they ask you if you need your room cleaned every morning). Breakfast is a self service, better to have it by the pool. It is varied, juste what you need good food and a pleasant view to kick off with a full stomache and a joyful mood. I really recommend this place. It's a ”coup de coeur” for me.
