I always book the Acorn on my trips across to Glasgow, it's in a great location, close to the OVO Hydro and an easy bus ride across the city from the Barrowlands. It's a short walk from the Kelvingrove, other museums, and the many shops, cafes, and restaurants of the West End. The city's cycle hire scheme is handy for getting further afield. The Acorn is on a quiet side road, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and great facilities.

The staff was very accommodating. The room was nicely set out and amenities were very nice. The location was perfect for exploring Kelvingrove Park and University surroundings. The Hunterian Art Gallery and Museum is also nearby. Good area for walking.

Excellent location for both the City Centre and West End in Glasgow. Rooms were a bit on the small side but fine for a couple of nights. Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent. Hotel was also spotless and beds very comfortable

Initially we were under the impression that this hotel had it’s own underground car park, but upon arriving found it was a car park 10min walk away- (£7.00 per day ) you could park on the street from 6pm until 8am and it was £1.40 per 15min -expensive😕 The car park opened at 9am and closed at 7pm and breakfast was from 7.30am so there was a bit of overlap that also that soon mounted the £’s up, The tv Ariel connection was broken so the TV didn’t work the first night, but we reported in the morning and was fixed when we returned 😁It was handy enough for the city centre and there are plenty of places to eat around the area

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is very gentle and helpful. Very good breakfast. The location is excellent to explore the town centre and the University area. Long term parking is a little difficult due to the Time limitations for street parking.
