Come stay with us at the Bamboo Bungalow in West Asheville where the artistic heart and soul resides. The home is decorated in a unique bungalow-style with a large balcony overlooking a serene bamboo grove. Enjoy the newly furnished modern kitchen and cozy living room. It doesn’t get much better than this, come join us at the Bamboo Bungalow!Layout: There are three steps up to the front porch, but the living space is all contained on one level. We have arranged an open living/dining area with wifi and a Smart TV. The owner of the house lives downstairs with a roommate. The two levels are totally separated and there is no need to share a common area. Kitchen: There is a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, blender, toaster and a full set of dishes and cooking utensils. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking if desired. However, just in case you choose to enjoy Asheville's wonderful restaurants - there is a notebook full of delicious choices! Porch: You’ll find a back porch where you can relax and enjoy the serenity of the bamboo grove and French Broad River.Guest access: The entire main level is for your enjoyment!Guest interaction: Our interaction with you as our guests is partially up to you! Our standard procedure is to greet you upon arrival (if possible), give you the key and a brief tour of the house and amenities offered. We will always available via text/phone call for Asheville advice!Neighborhood overview: Joyner Avenue is a quiet street that runs parallel to the French Broad River and is only one street away. It is being revitalized, reflecting the growth of this vibrant community. Just below us is Cultivate Climbing with its amazing rock climbing facility. At the end of our street you’ll find Home Ground Coffee Bar & Deli, which serves delicious coffee and food. If you want to relax during your stay in Asheville, this is the neighborhood for you!Getting around: Best modes of transportation in Asheville are definitely Uber and Lyft.Other things to note: We are situated on a quiet street a five-minute walk to Carrier Park with access to the entire RiverLink park system along the French Broad River. Rent a bike and travel along the river or visit the funky River Arts District on the other side of the bridge. Rent an inner tube and enjoy a peaceful float down the river with Zen Tubing or get ambitious and try out a stand up paddle board (SUP). Visit the riverside breweries at the New Belgium, The Wedge, or farther downstream at the Bywater where you can pull in right off the river. The Biltmore Estate is just a short 3.1 miles away. Downtown Asheville is 3.0 miles away filled with street life and restaurants. Perfect for a family vacation or a getaway. Enjoy an easy stroll to Asheville Adventure Park where you can rent tubes and kayaks for a spectacular ride on the river. Only 2 miles from downtown and one of the best locations in Asheville city limits. The house is a wonderful retreat furnished in a contemporary decor. The house comfortably sleeps 12-14 people with three king beds, four twin beds in bunk bed style, a pull-out full-size couch and Queen aero bed. Each king bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. Your suite is central to all the highlights, including Biltmore & the Parkway, and walking distance to the River Arts District, dining & breweries on Haywood Road, and miles of trails & bike paths along the French Broad River. Back at your suite, pick and enjoy herbs & veggies from the garden. With AC, WiFi, and a cozy living room with a sofa bed, guests can relax and unwind after a day of exploring. This one-bedroom apartment is equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The perfect urban oasis!Enjoy your own private suite with a living area, dining area, kitchenette, bedroom, and private bath. The kitchenette features a sink, fridge, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster oven, and microwave, along with dishes and silverware. Start your morning off right with a selection of tea and locally roasted coffee. The fridge is stocked with local beer.During growing season, there are lots of organic veggies and herbs growing in the garden just outside your door. The Rad Pad is a bright, cheery and quiet space, designed for two. The studio is 600 square feet, with 11 foot ceilings. Guests will enjoy a private entrance and a outdoor dining area. We are right there is you need anything, but we are prepared for you to..... Relax under a rain-head shower in the luxurious bathroom. Heat up leftovers in the the kitchenette. There is not a microwave cause it's Asheville. we aren't into microwaves. Slow down, enjoy the good vibes of Asheville & the RAD PAD.The spaceThe Rad pad is one huge studio open space with milk stained wood ceiling and large exposed beams. The shower is floor to ceiling subway tile with a rain shower head. There are concrete floors throughout. The kitchenette has everything you need to make a meal, (but not a microwave, cause it's Asheville. Microwaves are so 2005.) The bathroom has two specific areas, a shower area with sink and nice table for toiletries and another space with the toilet and another sink, with drawers for clothing or toiletries. The bed is a super comfy queen with memory foam pillows and down comforter. We also provide slippers for our guests to relax in. There's a smart TV, and there's amazon prime along with some local channels and some TV+ channels. If it's nice out, please enjoy the front porch of your pad and the provided chairs & table, too! It's a great spot to bird watch and enjoy the vibrant East West Asheville!Guest accessPlease PARK IN THE REAR of the home...proceed up the driveway and around the back & park near the posts. Please don't block the driveway. We use the driveway too.There are steps that lead you from your parked car to the back entrance of your loft! If you have bad knees or having trouble with steps let us know and we can tell you about the alternatives.The key Pad code is ****** (will be provided when you book) then the bottom lock button on the digital lock.Other things to notePlease NO SMOKERS or pets. The Hampton Inn was very convenient for us while visiting in Asheville. Right in the center of places that we enjoy going from the farmers market to the Arboretum to the Blue Ridge Parkway and of course the outlets but that is not what we come to do. Our room was very clean as was the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful as we stayed an extra night. We felt like we got great value For our dollar. The website was very easy to navigate, and it was very simple to book our lodging. Breakfast offerings were good. The bed was very comfortable and we will certainly come back as we have stayed there before for these very reasons.
