Come stay with us at the Bamboo Bungalow in West Asheville where the artistic heart and soul resides. The home is decorated in a unique bungalow-style with a large balcony overlooking a serene bamboo grove. Enjoy the newly furnished modern kitchen and cozy living room. It doesn’t get much better than this, come join us at the Bamboo Bungalow!Layout: There are three steps up to the front porch, but the living space is all contained on one level. We have arranged an open living/dining area with wifi and a Smart TV. The owner of the house lives downstairs with a roommate. The two levels are totally separated and there is no need to share a common area. Kitchen: There is a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, blender, toaster and a full set of dishes and cooking utensils. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking if desired. However, just in case you choose to enjoy Asheville's wonderful restaurants - there is a notebook full of delicious choices! Porch: You’ll find a back porch where you can relax and enjoy the serenity of the bamboo grove and French Broad River.Guest access: The entire main level is for your enjoyment!Guest interaction: Our interaction with you as our guests is partially up to you! Our standard procedure is to greet you upon arrival (if possible), give you the key and a brief tour of the house and amenities offered. We will always available via text/phone call for Asheville advice!Neighborhood overview: Joyner Avenue is a quiet street that runs parallel to the French Broad River and is only one street away. It is being revitalized, reflecting the growth of this vibrant community. Just below us is Cultivate Climbing with its amazing rock climbing facility. At the end of our street you’ll find Home Ground Coffee Bar & Deli, which serves delicious coffee and food. If you want to relax during your stay in Asheville, this is the neighborhood for you!Getting around: Best modes of transportation in Asheville are definitely Uber and Lyft.Other things to note: We are situated on a quiet street a five-minute walk to Carrier Park with access to the entire RiverLink park system along the French Broad River. Rent a bike and travel along the river or visit the funky River Arts District on the other side of the bridge. Rent an inner tube and enjoy a peaceful float down the river with Zen Tubing or get ambitious and try out a stand up paddle board (SUP). Visit the riverside breweries at the New Belgium, The Wedge, or farther downstream at the Bywater where you can pull in right off the river. The Biltmore Estate is just a short 3.1 miles away. Downtown Asheville is 3.0 miles away filled with street life and restaurants. Magical mountain home! This new 4-bedroom home, completed in July 2018, sits nestled above Carrier Park with sweeping, panoramic views of the mountains and the French Broad River. Perfect for a family vacation or a getaway. Enjoy an easy stroll to Asheville Adventure Park where you can rent tubes and kayaks for a spectacular ride on the river. Only 2 miles from downtown and one of the best locations in Asheville city limits. The house is a wonderful retreat furnished in a contemporary decor. The house comfortably sleeps 12-14 people with three king beds, four twin beds in bunk bed style, a pull-out full-size couch and Queen aero bed. Each king bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. The fourth bedroom has two bunkbeds. The Rad Pad is a bright, cheery and quiet space, designed for two. The studio is 600 square feet, with 11 foot ceilings. Guests will enjoy a private entrance and a outdoor dining area. We are right there is you need anything, but we are prepared for you to..... Relax under a rain-head shower in the luxurious bathroom. Heat up leftovers in the the kitchenette. There is not a microwave cause it's Asheville. we aren't into microwaves. Slow down, enjoy the good vibes of Asheville & the RAD PAD.The spaceThe Rad pad is one huge studio open space with milk stained wood ceiling and large exposed beams. The shower is floor to ceiling subway tile with a rain shower head. There are concrete floors throughout. The kitchenette has everything you need to make a meal, (but not a microwave, cause it's Asheville. Microwaves are so 2005.) The bathroom has two specific areas, a shower area with sink and nice table for toiletries and another space with the toilet and another sink, with drawers for clothing or toiletries. The bed is a super comfy queen with memory foam pillows and down comforter. We also provide slippers for our guests to relax in. There's a smart TV, and there's amazon prime along with some local channels and some TV+ channels. If it's nice out, please enjoy the front porch of your pad and the provided chairs & table, too! It's a great spot to bird watch and enjoy the vibrant East West Asheville!Guest accessPlease PARK IN THE REAR of the home...proceed up the driveway and around the back & park near the posts. Please don't block the driveway. We use the driveway too.There are steps that lead you from your parked car to the back entrance of your loft! If you have bad knees or having trouble with steps let us know and we can tell you about the alternatives.The key Pad code is ****** (will be provided when you book) then the bottom lock button on the digital lock.Other things to notePlease NO SMOKERS or pets. We are a short walk from sought-after eateries, breweries, and coffee shops and just a 5-minute drive from downtown Asheville. Make Gnomaste your hub from which to enjoy the best that Asheville has to offer. Our home is new construction in a charming historic neighborhood. Get the best of both worlds: enjoy desirable West Asheville while enjoying the comforts of a new home.Gnomaste is a guest suite located on the ground floor of our home. Guests will have access to a parking pad located steps from your own private entrance. Your bedroom comes equipped with an amazingly comfortable king bed, a love seat, a smart TV, a dedicated work space, a small kitchenette, a private bathroom, closet, small dresser, and patio for your private use.We live onsite with our 3 children and a people-loving dog so we may see each other and interact a little, but we will do our best to allow you privacy. When we designed and built this house, we added noise reducing materials to ensure you an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Our home is on a quiet and very walkable street. We are a 2-minute walk from Sunny Point Cafe (best brunch in town), Itto Ramen Bar and the Oyster Brew House. And a 5 minute walk from The Hop Ice Cream, Jargon (amazing high-end restaurant and bar), 9-mile (Jamaican food you have to have), The Whale (serving the beers that beer snobs love), Haywood Common, The Universal Joint, Westville Pub, One World Brewing, and Thai Pearl.A 10-minute walk gets you to Owl Bakery, Gan Shan West, Pizza Mind, Archetype Brewery, Short Street Cakes, Urban Orchard Cider House, and Hole Donuts. By car, we are 5 minutes from the River Arts District and Downtown Asheville, 10 minutes from the Biltmore Estate and the Blue Ridge Parkway, and about 15 minutes from the Asheville Regional Airport.We ask our guests to check-in before 11pm on the first night. Please do not book if you cannot check-in by 11. We provide off-street parking for 1 vehicle and on-street parking is very limited so please only plan on bringing 1 car. The last picture on our listing shows the parking pad (most suitable for small to midsize cars) and walkway to your entrance (the blue door on the side of our house).We provide a couple of days worth of consumables (paper towels, toilet paper, coffee...etc). If you are staying longer than 2 nights please be prepared to purchase more of each. Your bedroom and bathroom form a private suite. There is a door connecting your suite to the rest of the home (as is required within Asheville city limits) but this door will remain locked during your stay. For outdoor use, you have a private patio near your entrance.During construction, we invested in highly-rated sound abatement material in an effort to create a space that is insulated from the sounds of our family. This site is for the Bennett Suite only. The Bennett Suite has full-size beds in both bedrooms sleeping a total of four people. Bennett features a spacious and comfortable living room, an eclectic dining room, a gourmet fully-appointed chef's kitchen, two peaceful bedrooms, a period-correct, and historically renovated ultra-modern bathroom, a shared front porch with rocking chairs, and a private back porch. Come and enjoy the historic Bennett Suite of Inn on Westwood which is located in the heart of funky West Asheville. West Asheville is known for its hip, vintage, and laid-back vibe, with local restaurants serving up comfort food, music venues booking up-and-coming acts, and shops filled with yet-to-be-discovered treasures. All are very walkable and friendly.This private vacation home listed on the National Register of Historic Places was built in the 1870s and converted into an Inn in 2014. Full of special touches, it features 13-foot ceilings, arched double doors, and beautiful crown molding. Rooms are spacious and filled with light from the grand, original floor-to-ceiling windows. Enjoy the private back porch with your morning coffee or watch the sunset over the mountains with an evening cocktail.
