I had the pleasure of staying at Violet Hotel in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and I wanted to share my experience with everyone considering a trip to this holy city. First, the location is absolutely fantastic. The hotel is situated just a short distance from the Haram, making it incredibly convenient for performing prayers and attending religious duties. The view from my room offered a beautiful sight of the surroundings, providing a serene feel which added to my spiritual journey. The staff at Violet Hotel deserve special mention. From the moment I checked in, they were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and hassle-free. The concierge service was particularly helpful in assisting me with local transportation and offering advice on places to visit. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. I appreciated the modern amenities like free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and a fully-stocked minibar. The bed was very comfortable, making it easy to get some much-needed rest after long days of prayers and exploration. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, ensuring the room was spotless each day. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's dining options. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, from local Saudi dishes to international fare, all prepared with fresh ingredients. I also dined at the in-house restaurant for dinner a couple of times, and the meals were absolutely delightful. In terms of facilities, the Violet Hotel offers several amenities that enhance the guest experience. There is a well-equipped fitness center, which I found extremely beneficial to keep up with my exercise routine. The business center also came in handy as I needed to catch up on some work during my stay. Overall, my experience at Violet Hotel was exceptional. Whether you are visiting Makkah for a spiritual pilgrimage or just to explore the city, I highly recommend staying here. The combination of its prime location, excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and fantastic dining options make it a great choice for any traveler.

There is a shuttle every half hour, and it can be crowded on Fridays. There is an inexpensive grocery/convenience store nearby. The breakfast is good and offers a wide variety.

처음 이사한 방은 모기가 너무 많아서 다른 방으로 배정받았습니다. 청결 문제로 몇 점 감점되었습니다. 서비스는 훌륭했고, 전형적인 5성급 서비스였습니다. 방 변경도 도와주셨고, 호텔 컨시어지는 바쁜 시간에도 매우 친절했습니다. 직원들은 친절했고 짐도 잘 들어주었습니다. 시설은 꽤 오래되었습니다. 침대 옆 탁자에는 플러그가 없었고, 욕실 세면대 수압이 너무 세서 손을 씻을 때 물이 튀었습니다. 그래서 몇 점 감점되었습니다. 위치는 해변과 가까워서 좋았고, 아침 식사는 사우디아라비아에서 보기 드문 괜찮은 수준이었습니다.

해외 출장이라 처음 방문 했는데 메인 건물이 아니라 옆 건물 이였으며 시설은 최신식은 아니지만 깨끗함 시내에 나가는거 이동시간 때문에 저녁을 호텔에서 먹었음 음식 괜찮음 ㅎㅎ 조식도 따로 결제하고 먹었음(미리 결제 안하면 할인 없음) 보증금을 숙박비랑 비슷하게 받음 TT 2일이 지났지만 취소되지 않았음 ㅎㅎ

During my stay, I called housekeeping twice in the afternoon and was told someone would come, but no one showed up. Eventually, the bed was only made without changing the sheets. This is disappointing and not what I would expect from a hotel of this level

방 뒤에 공사장이 있어요. 호텔을 짓는 중일 거예요. 아침 5시에 두드리고 망치질하기 시작했어요. 좀 시끄러웠어요. 청소 직원들은 별로 활동적이지 않아요. 사우디 아라비아 같아요. 제가 요구한 대로 청소를 했는데도 아무도 오지 않았어요. 프런트 데스크에 가서 도움을 요청해야 했어요. 아침 식사는 하이라이트로 매우 풍부합니다. 위치가 좋습니다. 도보 10분 거리에 중국 음식점이 2개 있습니다. 좋습니다.

정말 정말 깨끗하고 예쁜 호텔인데, 시내 중심가와도 너무 멀어요. 근처에 상점도 없고, 정말 말도 안 돼요... 정말 하나도 없어서 정말 실망했어요. 매번 택시를 타야 했어요. 리셉션이나 청소 직원 모두 전혀 따뜻하게 맞아주지 않았어요. 심지어 마주쳐도 인사 한마디도 안 했어요... 그리고 마지막으로, 공항까지 무료 버스가 있다는 점이 아쉬웠어요.
