Exceptional Design & Thoughtful Luxury at Irnaqana Villa Ubud – A Standout Private Pool Villa. We recently stayed at Irnaqana Villa by GenuineHost in the Ubud and were thoroughly impressed by the architectural design and overall experience. This is not just another new villa (open late 2025), it’s a beautifully conceived private sanctuary where modern elegance meets natural tropical living in perfect harmony. Irnaqana consists of only four villas, each one a completely separate building. This gives every guest total privacy and the feeling of having your own exclusive retreat, which is rare and highly appreciated. The First Impression: A Brilliant Design Moment. From the moment you arrive, the entrance sets the tone. The elegantly designed door is a masterstroke, as it opens, it dramatically reveals the entire private swimming pool in one breathtaking view. It’s cinematic and instantly relaxing. No obstructed sightlines, just pool and lush greenery waiting for you. This clever architectural choice makes the outdoor space feel like an extension of the living area and creates that “wow” factor right away. Lush Garden & Natural Surroundings and water flow sound. The garden is lush and thoughtfully planted with a wonderful variety of tropical plants that feel completely natural and established. It’s not overly manicured, instead, it blends beautifully with the surrounding rice fields and countryside, giving a genuine sense of being immersed in Bali’s nature. Morning light filtering through the leaves, birdsong, and the gentle breeze made our mornings on the terrace truly special. Spacious Interior with Impressive High Ceilings Inside, the villa shines with its generous proportions and smart layout. The ceilings are exceptionally high — at least 5–6 meters — which not only makes the space feel incredibly airy and luxurious but also keeps the villa naturally cooler throughout the day. This is a game-changer in Bali’s climate. The unit is cleverly split into two distinct yet connected zones: • On the left side you have the dining and TV lounge area — perfect for relaxed meals or evening entertainment at the sunken seating. • On the right side is the bedroom with a bathtub and bathroom wing. Both sides offer ample space, so nothing feels cramped. The design elegantly balances modern lines, high-quality materials, and natural elements, clean aesthetics paired with warm tones and textures that nod to Balinese tradition without feeling clichéd. Every piece of furniture, lighting, and finishing feels carefully chosen and of premium quality. Bedroom & Bathroom Comfort The bed is enormous and one of the most comfortable we’ve experienced in Bali. After long days of exploring Ubud or playing sports, sinking into it was pure bliss — our backs were very thankful! The bedroom feels spacious and peaceful with excellent blackout options. The bathroom is equally impressive — spotlessly clean, with strong water pressure in the shower, fresh towels daily, and good-quality toiletries. Everything felt hygienic and well-maintained. The air conditioning is powerful and gets deliciously cold although might needs 1-2 minutes, which was welcome after hot days. Combined with the high ceilings and natural ventilation, the villa stayed comfortable at all times. Location Perks. While the villa itself is tucked away in a quiet, green setting ideal for relaxation, the surrounding area is surprisingly convenient. There’s a fantastic variety of eateries within a short distance — from authentic local warungs serving delicious Balinese food to excellent international restaurants. Final Thoughts Irnaqana Villa excels in thoughtful, high-quality design that prioritizes space, light, views, and privacy. It successfully delivers both aesthetic beauty and genuine comfort. 방은 좁지 않고 빨래 건조대, 냉장고 등 편의시설이 갖추어져 있음. 3성급으로 분류되기에 충분한 퀄리티의 방. 수영장 공간은 아주 예쁜 편임. 조식이 포함되지 않아 따로 신청하여 먹었는데 세금이 21%붙음. 호텔에 따로 바는 없지만 맥주를 적당한 가격에 팔고 있어서 굳이 나가서 사 오지 않아도 됨. 리셉션 직원이 하우스 키핑도 하기 때문에 자리를 자주 비우는 편임. 위치가 썩 좋은 편은 아니라서 어디를 걸어가기는 어려움. 숙소에서 직접 오토바이를 빌려주지는 않음. 그리고 숙소에서 알려주는 오토바이 업체는 별로임. 차라리 구글 지도를 검색해서 오토바이 업체에 직접 연락하는 것이 나을 수 있겠음. 어차피 다 갖다줌. 숙소는 친절함. 조식은 평범함. 전체적으로 만족함.

사진처럼 크고 멋진 개인 수영장은 시원하고, 언제든 수영하기에도 전혀 문제없습니다. 호텔도 조용합니다. 주방, 욕실, 거실에 비해 침실은 매우 좁아집니다. 단점은 욕실 욕조가 매우 더럽고, 검은 얼룩은 씻을 수 없으며, 욕조에 온수 스위치가 없어서 뜨거운 물이 나오지 않는다는 것입니다. 개인적인 문제인지 다른 문제인지는 잘 모르겠습니다. 방을 바꾸고 싶지 않아서 반영되지 않았지만, 목욕을 할 수 없어서 조금 아쉬웠습니다.

전반적으로 만족스러운 숙박이었고, 정말 좋았습니다. 위치도 중심가에 있어서 주변이 활기 넘쳤어요. 기억에 남는 숙박을 원하시는 분들께 이 호텔을 강력 추천합니다. 수영장은 좋았고 조식은 그저 그랬지만, 청결도와 직원들의 친절함은 최고였습니다.

I booked a 6-night stay at Villa Estella from September 28 to October 4, 2026. The villa itself is beautiful, well-equipped, and ideally located for a stay in Seminyak. The staff are also friendly, welcoming, and professional, as is often the case in Indonesia. Unfortunately, I can only give this property 2 stars because my stay was significantly affected by an issue that was never disclosed before my booking: major construction work was taking place in the villa directly next to mine. For all six days of my stay, construction workers arrived every morning around 8:30–9:00 a.m. and continued working until approximately 5:30–6:00 p.m. Beyond the constant movement of workers, conversations, and music from the construction site, I had to endure hammering against the wall of my bedroom, drilling, material cutting, and various other loud construction noises throughout the day. In addition, dust and construction debris regularly settled on my terrace, outdoor furniture, and around the pool area. Whether inside or outside the villa, the noise level was simply incompatible with a relaxing holiday. I specifically chose this villa because it was located away from the busier parts of Seminyak and because I wanted to enjoy the private pool. Since Seminyak’s beaches are often difficult to enjoy for swimming due to the waves, I expected to spend time relaxing at the villa and cooling off during the hottest hours of the day. Unfortunately, the noise was so constant and intrusive that it was impossible to comfortably stay at the property from morning until late afternoon. The day after my arrival, I contacted management to explain that the situation was unacceptable and that I should have been informed about the construction work before booking. In my opinion, this is essential information that should be clearly disclosed on booking platforms. The only solution offered was to have the workers start a little later in the morning so that I could sleep longer. No alternative accommodation was proposed, no full refund for the unused nights was considered, and the only compensation offered was a 30% refund on the remaining nights, which I considered completely inadequate given the extent of the disruption. The construction work continued throughout my stay. I received several apology emails acknowledging the inconvenience and warning me that there would still be noise on the following days. However, beyond these apologies, no meaningful action was taken to resolve the issue. I felt trapped and left without a real solution. I was repeatedly told that I was free to leave the property, while also being informed that the compensation would remain limited to this partial refund, which was presented as an exceptional commercial gesture. Empathy and apologies are appreciated, but concrete action matters more. I was left with the impression that the owners prioritized their business interests over the comfort and well-being of their guests. When a property knows that major construction work is likely to significantly impact the guest experience, the very least it should do is inform guests before they book so they can make an informed decision. In my case, I was only informed after I had already arrived, when it was far too late to change my plans. I find this completely unacceptable. If you are considering staying at this villa and are sensitive to noise or construction disturbances, I strongly recommend contacting the property beforehand to confirm the current situation. This important information was certainly not communicated transparently when I made my reservation.

하이드어웨이 빌리지 빌라는 이름 그대로 자연에 둘러싸여 평화롭고 한적한 휴식을 선사합니다. 서비스는 훌륭했고, 직원들은 매우 친절했으며 영어를 유창하게 구사했습니다. 숙박 기간 내내 인상적인 서비스를 받았으며, 객실도 편안하고 깔끔했습니다. 다만, 숲 속에 위치한 빌라의 특성상 벌레가 꽤 많았다는 점은 아쉬운 부분입니다. 야외 소파와 바닥에는 먼지가 많고, 떨어진 꽃잎에서 나온 흙과 수액이 묻어 있었습니다. 또한, 주방과 수영장이 아래층에 있어 노약자나 거동이 불편한 분들에게는 적합하지 않을 수 있습니다. 게다가, 시내 중심가까지 걸어갈 수 있는 거리가 아니며, 근처에 상점도 없습니다. 전반적으로 이러한 몇 가지 단점에도 불구하고, 우리는 즐겁고 편안한 시간을 보냈습니다.

좋아요 친절하고 깨끗해요. 그러나 위치가 너무 외졌어요. 가족끼리 안에서 놀기는 좋아요. 외부로 나가면 꼭 차량을 불러서 움직이세요. 만약 걸어서 근처에 어느곳을 간다고 하면 핸드폰과 지갑을 조심하세요. 스쿠터 소매치기가 많아요. 전 리조트 입구 들언가는곳에서 핸드폰을 도둑맞았어요

이 빌라에서의 저희 전체 경험은 정말 훌륭했습니다. 아마 발리에서 겪었던 최고의 숙박이었을 거예요. 빌라 자체는 매우 깨끗하고 필요한 모든 것을 갖추고 있습니다. 특히 좋았던 점은 저희 아이를 위해 저희가 요청한 거의 모든 것을 미리 준비해 주셨다는 것입니다 – 유아용 의자, 아기 침대, 그리고 어린아이와 여행할 때 필요한 다른 소소한 물품들이요. 사려 깊고 진심으로 도움이 되었으며, 저희의 숙박을 훨씬 더 편하게 만들어주었습니다. 위치도 정말 훌륭합니다. 해변까지는 최대 5분 거리여서 매일 가기 쉬웠습니다. 근처에는 편의점도 여러 곳 있는데, 해변보다도 더 가깝습니다 (걸어서 약 3분 거리). 그래서 필요한 것을 쉽게 구할 수 있습니다. 직원분들은 아마 빌라 전체에서 가장 좋았던 부분일 겁니다! 모두가 엄청나게 친절하고 따뜻하며, 항상 어떤 일이든 기꺼이 도와주셨습니다. 저희는 4인 조식이 포함되어 있었는데, 매일 한 명의 조식은 아이에게 맞게 조절해 달라고 요청해야 했습니다. 메뉴에는 없었지만, 매일 저희를 위해 준비해 주셨습니다 – 정말 감사드립니다! 저희를 감동시킨 또 다른 점은: 저희는 오전 8-9시경에 도착했지만, 공식 체크인은 오후 1시부터입니다. 어린아이와 함께 장시간 비행을 한 후라 편안하게 기다릴 공간이 정말 필요했는데, 이곳에는 전용 대기실이 있었습니다. 단순한 방이 아니라 침대, 화장실 등 아이가 있는 가족에게 필요한 모든 것을 갖춘 아주 좋은 곳이었습니다. 저희에게 큰 도움이 되었습니다! 출발하는 날도 마찬가지였습니다: 체크아웃은 오후 12시이고 저희 비행기는 오후 6시였는데, 그 방을 다시 무료로 이용하게 해주셨습니다. 정말 감사드립니다! 쉐프님 (아쉽게도 직접 뵙지는 못했습니다)은 어른과 아이 모두를 위한 정말 맛있는 음식을 요리해 주십니다. 음식이 너무 맛있어서 대부분 외식을 하는 대신 빌라에서 직접 음식을 주문했습니다. 다양한 취향을 만족시킬 만큼 종류도 충분하고, 머무는 내내 빌라 음식에 의존해도 전혀 문제가 없었습니다. 모기에 대해 언급한 예전 리뷰들을 보았습니다. 예전에는 어땠는지 모르겠지만, 저희가 머무는 동안에는 예외 없이 매일 모기 퇴치제를 가져다주셨고 정말 효과가 있었습니다. 저희 아이를 포함해서 모기 때문에 전혀 문제가 없었습니다. 만약 개선을 위한 두 가지 작은 제안을 한다면 (저희에게는 전혀 문제가 되지 않았지만): 1 – WhatsApp을 통한 의사소통이 가능하면 좋을 것 같습니다. 물론 프런트 데스크에 전화하거나 몇 초 만에 걸어갈 수도 있지만, 일부 손님들에게는 WhatsApp이 더 편리할 수 있습니다. 2 – 두어 번 빌라 청소를 약 30분 안에 해달라고 요청했고, 알겠다고 하셨지만 실제로는 한 시간 정도 늦게 오셨습니다. 아마 하우스키핑이 다른 빌라들로 바빴기 때문일 것이고, 이는 충분히 이해할 수 있지만, 지연될 경우 미리 알려주시면 도움이 될 것 같습니다. 이런 일은 단 두 번 일어났고 저희에게 문제가 되지는 않았습니다. 전반적으로 이 빌라는 정말 멋지고, 장소도 훌륭하며, 직원분들은 진심으로 친절하고, 전체적인 경험은 발리에서 가졌던 최고의 숙박이었습니다. 다시 발리에 오게 되면 기꺼이 이곳에 다시 머물고 싶습니다.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were traveling as two couples and honestly did not expect to find such a beautiful and peaceful place away from the busy tourist routes. The hotel is charming, very well maintained, and has a special atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed from the first moment. It is also conveniently located close to one of Bali’s famous attractions, Lohongan Sweet, which was a wonderful bonus for us. The owner is absolutely wonderful — incredibly welcoming and attentive. His hospitality made us feel at home and even made us wish to extend our vacation and stay here longer. We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay. Бассейн глубокий, на кухне все есть, магазины в пяти минутах ходьбы, пастели удобные, все чисто и душевно!

We love heritage buildings and vintage style, so these little bungalows were perfect for us. They were a little walk away from the reception (no buggy!) which meant so peaceful and quiet! Gorgeous wooden bedroom and bathroom. The shower is a little outdated and when I first turned it on there was a sulphuric smell which was a bit concerning. Basically, if you like rustic, no frills, no extra service etc then these are a lovely cute experience. However, if you want luxury and are squeamish about old style open homes, this isn't for you. Breakfast was very basic so we generally ate out. The main receptionist was a lovely gentlemen, a very quick registration and we were in! Rooms were clean and nice and dark for a cosy sleep at night.
