This is the first time we have stayed in a Parador and based on this experience it won't be the last. The hotel's location is magnificent, set on a hillside overlooking the old city of Toledo but with easy access from the Autovia. Check in was a pleasant experience and later when we needed help printing our barding passes the guys on the desk certainly went out of their way to help. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of cheeses, meats and fish. Cooked options were available but we were more than happy with the buffet. The view from the breakfast room is outstanding. Finally I come to the room. We had treated ourselves to a Junior Suite which consisted of a bedroom, a sitting room and a large bathroom with both a walk in shower and a sunken bath. Each window gave the wonderful view of the city both by day and at night when the main buildings are floodlit. As well as coffee there were complementary soft drinks and water in the fridge together with a couple of tins of nuts. Check-out was not until 12 and we would have lingered until then had we not had a flight to catch.

My husband and I drove back from Portugal and decided that we were going to stop off in Toledo. We stayed at this hotel. What an amazing hotel it is. And the prices are very affordable.The building is beautiful (architecture). Felt like we were in a tiny castle. The staff welcomed us (we came a bit late). They suggested where we go to eat (local food with the locals)at that time, they even explained the rules and closing times etc re that city during this time and corona restrictions. The room we stayed in was amazing. View of the whole city. We had an amazing terrace/patio.We were taken aback by the view we had. The bathroom was big-commodities included-soap etc. Bidet included. Heating was good. Modern furnishings. In the winter the floors are normally cold in Spain (throughout), this hotel was almost as if they had floor heating (who knows). It has a very warm, cozy feeling to it. The bed was comfortable and extra linen provided. Internet worked well. This hotel should be a 4 or 5 star hotel. A short walk into the city, the location is absolutely perfect. Adriana and all at reception were friendly and helpful. Now that we have discovered this hotel, we will be back for sure. Tour spagnolo con prima tappa in Hotel per riposarci. Posto tranquillo con camere isolate, pulite e con prima colazione top. Struttura in buone condizioni in posto strategico per andare a Madrid. Soluzione ideale per chi non gradisce la caciara delle zone troppo urbanizzate. Consigliato

호텔은 고대 도시인 톨레도에 있지 않지만 자동차로 여행하는 사람들에게 적합합니다. 호텔에는 주차장이 무료로 개방된 넓은 공간이 있습니다. 호텔은 개방적인 환경을 갖추고 있습니다. 우리가 살고 있는 바닥은 녹지 공간인 발코니 문을 엽니다. 탁 트인 시야가 탁 트여 있어 고대 도시가 내려다보입니다. 호텔은 저녁에 레스토랑에서 훌륭한 아침 식사와 일품 요리 저녁 식사를 제공합니다. 음식의 품질도 높지만 소비는 낮지 않습니다. 고대 도시에서 도보로 약 30분이 소요됩니다. 가깝지는 않아도 멀지는 않습니다.

Hotel muito bem localizado permitindo os passeios a pé. O quarto era limpo e a cama muito confortável. É um hotel simples mas que oferece tudo o que você precisa para uma estadia curta em Toledo. O café da manhã é simples e sem grande variedade. Senti falta de ovos já que o café consiste basicamente de pão, croissant e frutas; mas o café oferecido pelo hotel é rápido, o que lhe permite sair para passear logo cedo.

A visit to Toledo should definitely be on your list of places to visit in Spain. The City of Three Cultures sits on a hill, surrounded on three sides by the River Tagus, attesting to the old adage that location is everything. The Roman historian, Livy (a.59 BCE-17CE) mentioned it as being a small city but fortified by location. The three cultures being of course, Christianity, Judaism and Islam. The evidence of these cultures are found all over the old city. Indeed, it is the influence of these cultures and the structures that they left behind, that were instrumental in Toledo being inducted into the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1986. Today, it is a lively city, its streets and squares filled with residents mingling with tourists. We booked Hotel Medina de Toledo without really knowing how close it lay to the Historic Center of Toledo. We were pleased to see that it actually lies within the walls in the outer perimeter. You are just ca. 100 meters from the Aparcamiento Miradero (Parking), from which there is an escalator that leads you right up to the actual town. The hotel website states that you are a four minute walk from the Puerta del Sol City Gate and Plaza de Zocodover. A five minute walk from Puerta Bisagra Gate, seven minutes from the Alcazar and ten minutes from Toledo Cathedral. Tops on location. This small hotel has 18 rooms arranged on three floors. Because the hotel is located on an incline, the lobby is located on the top floor, but is on street level. The hotel staff are very friendly, in fact we greeted by the owner of the facility and were treated very well. The hotel advertises that multi languages are spoken, Spanish, Portuguese, English, French and Italian. As the hotel basically sits into the hill, the rooms face out to the back and have a great view of the lower city, in what I think is a north direction. The rooms are clean and comfortable, air-conditioned, there is also free wifi. Non-smoking rooms are available. Breakfast, available for a nominal fees, is delicious and can be eaten out on a lovely, scenic terrace. There is also free parking available on the street and if you are lucky, right out in front of the lobby. We can easily recommend staying at the Hotel Medina de Toledo and if we are back in the area, will do so again. PS. We would like to pass along the recommendation of El Trebol Tapas Bar as a good place to eat. Also, don't forget to buy some Marzipan, as Toledo is well known for this treat.

Nos encantó la ubicación, la arquitectura, la decoración y el servicio. La cena y el desayuno estupendos. Dormimos muy tranquilos, me encantan las sábanas suaves y las toallas gruesas. Un lugar maravilloso, totalmente recomendable
