Villa Vehmas is a charming, cozy cabin ideal for a peaceful holiday, situated on a sunny grassy plot. Located 70 km northwest of Heinola, Lake Päijänne 25 m, with a gently deepening sandy bottom, own pier. A canoe and rowing boat available. The wooden villa, originally built in 1991, was renovated and expanded in 2024. The living room/kitchen includes a sofa bed for two. One bedroom has a double bed, and the other bedroom has a pull-out sofa bed for two. There is a bathroom with a shower, an electric sauna, and a separate WC. The spacious covered terrace, running the length of the house, faces the lake. The lakeside sauna was built in 1994 and renovated in 2024. The fireplace room has a refrigerator and a sofa bed, providing two additional sleeping places during the summer. The sauna has a wood-burning stove and a water cauldron. In winter, it’s possible to create an ice hole for swimming, with equipment available at the cabin. The owner can also prepare one for you for a fee of 30 euros, payable in cash on-site. Lauluranta cottage is located in a wonderful location on the shore of Lake Päijänne, overlooking the lake Tehi. The spacious yard of the cottage is a great place to enjoy summer days. The cottage is close to the Päijänne National Park and the Höysniemi campfire site is about 10 km along the road. You can also order a boat taxi from Padasjoki to reach the national park's stunning island destinations. Lauluranta cottages are only rented for peaceful holidays. The cottage is 175 km from Helsinki, 72 km from Lahti and 20 km from the Padasjoki church village to the cottage yard. The lake is about 25 m from the cottage. The beach is shallow with natural sand. There is a sturdy pier on the shore, suitable for a large boat. The water depth at the end of the pier is about 1-1.5 m. A log cottage (1998), living room and kitchen. Bedroom with a double bed (160 cm), and a sleeping alcove with one bed (120 cm). In addition, two lofts, one loft with two beds and the other with one bed. Indoor toilet.
