Last year I had the most wonderful stay at Menina Colina, and was excited to return. Unfortunately I now wish I had reserved elsewhere, as it has been nothing but a disappointment. Prices are so much higher than a year ago, but I thought I got what was a good deal on the garden room. Turns out it is greatly overpriced for what is offered, as it has none of the exquisite design or attention to detail that the interior rooms have. It also seems to be neglected in terms of maintenance. The coffee machine was leaking, and after reporting it, it was made out to be my fault as I was using it incorrectly. I had to physically show a member of staff the leaked water for them to agree to replace it. I was really annoyed that they felt that they needed to demonstrate to me how it works rather than just replacing it immediately. The next disappointment was that the room was initially not serviced at all, and no explanation was given. When you are paying $165 for a mediocre room (not even including breakfast), one would at the very least expect the bins to be emptied. The bathroom also had a terrible smell that permeated the room, and mosquitoes were a problem too. Management did offer me lunch or attendance of their fado show, but none of these arrangements fitted into my busy programme. I thought a small financial compensation would have made more sense. That did not happen, and nothing further was mentioned or discussed on check-out. The final issue was the online check-out which they require. When I tried to complete it, my bill was for my entire stay, although 3 of the 4 nights had already been paid months in advance. So my conclusion is unfortunately that Menina Colina’s standards have dropped significantly, and that it is overpriced for the lack of attention to detail that is evident in several areas.

잼 호텔 포르투에서의 숙박은 정말 완벽했어요. 처음부터 모든 것이 쉽고 환영받는 느낌이었죠. 객실은 거의 새것처럼 상태가 훌륭했고, 매우 현대적이며 세심하게 디자인되어 있었어요. 항상 깨끗하고 깔끔하게 정돈되어 있어서 도시에서 하루를 보낸 후 돌아오면 매우 편안했습니다. 무엇보다 숙박을 특별하게 만든 것은 리셉션의 친절한 직원분이었어요. 제가 숙박 기간 중에 생일이라는 것을 알아채고는 방으로 생일 머핀을 가져다주셨습니다. 전혀 예상치 못했던 친절하고 개인적인 제스처였는데, 정말 감동받았고 하루를 행복하게 만들어 주었어요. 전반적으로 이곳은 손님들을 단순히 전문적인 방식이 아니라 따뜻하고 진심 어린 마음으로 배려하는 곳이라는 느낌을 받았습니다. 망설임 없이 다시 머물고 싶은 곳이에요.

Pros - Location - easy access to Porto downtown area (3 metro stations to Sao Bento) - I choose travelling by metro as walking uphill and downhill in Porto is really tiring! - Room size as well as toilet - spacious enough even for two people, facilities - I like the kettle for boiling hot water. - Water from the shower very powerful and comfortable. - 2 bakery cafes nearby for taking breakfast (with reasonable price), one Chinese restaurant nearby provides hot food. Cons - Did not expect there was nobody at hotel front desk upon my arrival. With the help of a kind lady, I could communicate with the hotel staff via whatsapps and was able to check in without problem. ( I would like to say thanks to that kind lady) - No elevator, staying at lower floors is preferrable. - the room floorings had a cracking sound while walking, may be the building was a little bit old.

I recently spent four nights at Aparthotel Oporto Sol, and while my stay was overall okay, it came with a few drawbacks. Opening the windows was not an option due to the presence of mosquitoes outside, which meant I struggled to find a comfortable sleeping temperature. On the positive side, the apartment itself was spacious and generally clean. The amenities were adequate for my needs, and the staff was friendly and helpful, albeit a few blocks over. I appreciated the kitchenette, which allowed me to prepare some of my own meals during my stay. In summary, while my stay at Aparthotel Oporto Sol had its merits, the lack of air conditioning and its location outside the main area impacted my overall experience. If you're sensitive to heat or prefer to be in the city center, you may want to consider other options. Otherwise, it serves as a decent accommodation for those seeking a quieter spot.

3박을 묵었는데 전반적으로 만족스러웠습니다. 방은 깨끗하고 넓고 조용해서 제가 딱 좋아하는 스타일이었어요. 휴식을 취하기에 안성맞춤이었습니다. 처음 도착했을 때 첫날 밤에 에어컨이 작동하지 않아 난방으로 틀어져 있어서 좀 불편했지만, 다음 날 바로 고쳐주셨습니다. 그 외에는 모든 것이 좋았습니다. 직원들도 친절했고요. 위치도 아주 좋았습니다. 포르투 외곽으로 가는 모든 노선이 출발하는 캄파냐 역에서 한 정거장, 시내 중심가인 트리니다드 역에서 네 정거장 거리에 있어서 아베이루, 아마란테, 브라가 등으로 이동하기에 편리합니다. 근처에 쇼핑센터와 자정까지 영업하는 맥도날드도 있어서 편리했습니다. 모든 게 훌륭했습니다. 감사합니다.
