A relaxing getaway in Unawatuna! Stunning 5 bedroom villa located in the heart of Unawatuna with exceptional service and staff. It’s well equipped with everything you need. Great local and western food which was well prepared and flavorful (the kitchen is extremely clean and well maintained which is always a good sign). There are plenty of areas to relax with great views and the property has lots of shade and beautifully maintained landscape. Vishan and his staff looked after us very well and every request was accommodated including getting us a masseuse in house which was one of the best massages we have had. He also arranged very trustworthy and friendly tuk tuk drivers for us to go around the area. Wish we stayed here longer!!

For the price this is a great little boutique hotel with lots of seating areas and a real rare charm to the place. The breakfast was better than from the Anantara and was a real surprise. Poached quail egg hoppers, unbelievable. The location is great being inside the fort but in a quiet street so.as not.to be impacted with noise at night. There was a lovely iced tea on arrival and in the morning a tray of tea and coffee left on our table outside the room on the balcony overlooking the little courtyard. The only negative is the toilet is inside the bedroom but behind a slated screen. It was not a big issue for us but some people might not like to sleep with there head only 1m from the toilet seat.

My stay at The Heritage Hotel Galle Fort was remarkable, with its fantastic location being a highlight. Nestled conveniently close to a variety of restaurants and shops, it offers the ease of exploring Galle's vibrant culture right at your doorstep. The proximity to the iconic lighthouse and the beaches, just a short walk away, adds to the charm of the hotel. Starting the day with the wonderful breakfast options available was a delight. Moreover, the professionalism of the staff was commendable; they were attentive and ensured a seamless experience throughout my stay. The combination of location, service, and comfort makes The Heritage Hotel a place I would gladly choose again for future visits to Galle.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Heritance Ahungalla, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, and the fresh juices served upon arrival were very refreshing after the journey. The room was spotlessly clean, tidy, spacious, and well equipped with all the luxury amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere throughout the resort had a relaxing beachside vibe, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We also used the gym, which was properly equipped with a good range of equipment. The resort has two swimming pools, and we spent most of our time at the main pool, which was absolutely massive and perfect for relaxing. The highlight of the stay was definitely the food experience. The dinner buffet was exceptional with an incredible variety of dishes. There were large selections of salads, appetizers, breads and buns, Sri Lankan specialties, international cuisine, and live cooking stations. The seafood and meat variety was especially impressive — including chicken, beef, pork, cuttlefish, prawns, fish, and many other seafood dishes, with multiple preparations for each. My personal favorite was the pork leg, which was incredibly delicious, tender, and flavorful. The dessert corner was huge, offering plenty of choices and beautifully presented sweets. After a very comfortable night’s sleep, we went for breakfast, and honestly, it was just as impressive as dinner. The breakfast buffet included a massive spread with salad stations, bakery items, fresh fruits, Sri Lankan and international breakfast options, live stations, and an amazing juice bar with around 7–8 varieties of fresh juices. They also had a dedicated cheese section, multiple yogurt options, and even 4–5 types of porridges, which was something unique and very well done. Overall, Heritance Ahungalla offers a fantastic combination of luxury, comfort, delicious food, and relaxing coastal ambience. Everything from the service to the dining and facilities was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable beach getaway in Sri Lanka! 🌴✨

had a fantastic stay at Insight Resort, characterized by absolute comfort, impeccable cleanliness, and stunning views. The service was professional and attentive in every detail. A special thanks to the team who made my stay truly memorable: Front Office: Ishan, for his warm welcome and efficiency. Dining Team: Tursen (Restaurant Manager), for his multilingual skills and proactive service, and the breakfast team—Chef Lakshitha, Pamudi, Tharindu, and Kasthuri—for their excellence each morning. Housekeeping: Poojitha and Dhanuka, for their diligent attention to cleanliness and order. An excellent resort that I highly recommend. I look forward to returning!”

had an exceptional stay. We had everything we want in the room, tea & coffee, kettle, safe and fridge and most importantly it was impeccably clean. We were on the top floor with fantastic sea view. The gym was small but the treadmill, cycle and stepper were good. My childrens favourite places were the garden and child’s pool area and my wife really liked the Finnish Sauna and the Massage while I enjoyed a few nice games of pool billiards. The breakfast and dinner options provided a wide variety of delicious dishes. We had a delightful family lunch, ordering fresh seafood from the à la carte menu. We also spent time at the beach but the sea was rough at this time of the year so we enjoyed relaxing by the two pools. The staff were always welcoming, friendly, and went out of their way to help us. I highly recommend this hotel,
