This atmospheric and well located hotel is at the very top of our list of hotels to stay in while in Rome. We needed to be at the Vatican everyday; this hotel was perfectly positioned so that we could easily access the Vatican on foot - and also so close to Campo de Fiore and Piazza Navona and the Pantheon (and surrounding neighborhoods), it was easy to find wonderful food after a short walk. (It was also an easy walk to the Forum and the Colosseum). Our double deluxe room was large, with huge windows, an extremely comfortable and large bed and plenty of storage (a built in closet). The bathroom was quite big with good lighting and an excellent hair dryer. Breakfast at the hotel is not to be missed - it was lavish (and was included in our stay) and changed every day (there were always different pastries, quiche, tiny breakfast sandwiches, along with a 'permanent' bar of cereals, juices, the MOST delicious fruit and yogurts). I believe that most of their breads and pastries were made on premise - which is very impresive, given how good they were! The hotel was exceedingly clean in all aspects and the staff was truly wonderful - happy and attentive. I read previous complaints about noise from the carabinieri stationed across the street in front of their building - but it seems that the hotel has installed soundproof windows, so it was easy enough to create a quiet room. It's a lively neighborhood (although this section of Via Giulia isn't lined with bars and restaurants), but the spillover from nearby establishments can sound like a party if you choose to open your windows. We found Hotel Dom very comfortable and accommodating and highly recommend it.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Rose Palace. The front desk gave us tired travelers a warm welcome that made us relax immediately. Our room overlooked the back of the American Embassy with guards stationed outside 24/7 so it was definitely safe. The hotel is a little off the beaten path from the usual touristy spots in Rome but in a very quiet area. The room was very clean. We had 3 in our room and the 3rd person had to sleep on a full size pull out couch. It was comfy for a pull out (you couldn’t feel the bar under the mattress) but unless you put up the bed every day the only place to sit were the beds. It had a small fridge and the bathroom was updated but limited on counter space around the sink. The buffet breakfast was geared toward a variety of tastes. Scrambled eggs, a variety of pastries, orange juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, cheese, meat, etc. When the weather was nice we enjoyed sitting outside in the garden. There is a tiny grocery store called Co-op around the corner where you can buy the basics. Also on the next block is an ATM in the alcove of the bank entrance that seemed secure to use. Reading older reviews we thought there was a restaurant in the hotel serving dinner but it turned out to just be a small bar. So we walked a couple of blocks north and ate at Cesarina and enjoyed a good meal and friendly staff. There were a lot of other restaurants to pick from in a 2-3 block radius. The ones on Via Vittorio Veneto appeared to be more expensive than the ones northeast of the hotel. There is a taxi stand a couple of blocks away and we used both Uber and inTaxi for rides back to the hotel.

Hotel conveniently located next to The Vatican in a quiet neighbourhood with many restaurants, cafes, clothing stores within a 5-10 minute walk. Hotel staff very professional and friendly. Special mention to Front Desk Agent Chiara Stage who went above and beyond in ensuring we got the most out of our short time there. We had a lovely balcony and a large bathroom. The room was spotless and modern with flat screen tv. The only complaint being that the pillows and matress were too hard for my comfort.

We stayed at this lovely boutique hotel which was in easy walking distance to every attraction a tourist would want to see…the Vatican,Coliseum, Forum, Spanish Steps, The Pantheon, hundreds of wonderful restaurants and bars. But, the most special part of our experience was the special attention to our stay from Laura and Pina. The host’s responsiveness was off the charts and the hospitality was beyond excellent! The attention to guest comfort and security was overwhelming! The suite/rooms were beautiful, comfortable bed and wonderful shower! Very clean. We look forward to our return to Rome and our stay at Relais Rione Ponte! Thank you, Laura!! You made our Rome experience memorable!

We found this hotel after researching areas and so grateful we did. From the moment we first emailed the hotel staff for information regarding access for my mother who was hiring a wheelchair, they were just incredible. Every single member of staff in this hotel was so friendly, welcoming and spoke multiple languages to all guests. The hotel organised fantastic transfers for us with wonderful drivers, who basically did a running commentary tour of Rome on each journey. We organised a wheelchair to be delivered to the hotel and they stored it for us each day, but let us come and go like we were family to access it. We cannot reommend the brilliant staff highly enough and we forgot to ask all their names - the two main gentlemen on reception in the day were incredible with their customer service skills. Marco on reception was super friendly too and Beatrice our cleaner with language skills that could be great on reception was fab too. The breakfasts were brilliant, varied selection and the staff were only too happy to help you make it a perfect experience. The view from the breakfast terrace will stay with me for life, beautiful way to start the day with a sunrise breakfast overlooking the Altar of the kingdom, the Pantheon and the Vatican / St Peter's Basilica. We were encouraged to go up the terrace at any time so we often had a picnic lunch up there, late afternoon prosecco watching the sun go down, bliss. There is a fantastic Carrefour shop just a 3 minute walk from the hotel (up towards the Tiber river / bridge, but turn right at junction before and walk along the street for 2 mins). We picked up 2 salads and water for 7 euros, together with a bottle of prosecco... great simple lunch with a view. Our room was 214 and was fairly dark (without the lights on) as it was in the inner courtyard area (rooms 506 - 508 are the best balcony / street facing rooms) but it was quite lovely for sleeping as it was peaceful and restful. The bedding is quite old fashioned and we wished we had just had sheets rather than the blanket in between (but we just removed these for our stay) and it was lovely. The pillows were ok but again could do with being softer but overall for the dream location, the exceptional staff we would stay there again in a heartbeat as we thoroughly loved it. We brought the wrong charging adapter and the hotel staff were so brilliant and lent us one for the duration of our stay. In our room we had a fridge that was well stocked but we never needed that. There was also tea and coffee / kettle but again we didn't get round to using them. The staff in the hotel were constantly asking us if they could help with anything, suggested restaurants for us that were local (the restaurant adjacent to the hotel was outstanding Piazza Fiammetta) and just across the street down a small street there is another exceptional restaurant called Gusto - the also do pasta making classes. 이것은 내가 혼자 여행에서 이탈리아에 머물렀던 마지막 호텔이었습니다. 로마에서 시작했을 때 여행의 첫 번째 다리를 위해이 호텔을 예약하지 않은 것을 후회합니다. 이웃은 할 일이 많습니다. 나는 밤에 혼자 여성으로서 혼자 안전하다고 느꼈습니다. 대부분의 주요 명소와 가깝고 중앙에 위치하고 있습니다. 건물은 아름답고 안전합니다. 호텔은 체크인하기 몇 시간 전에 누군가가 나를 들여보내 줄 수 있도록 앱 시간에 나와 연결했습니다. 방은 매우 깨끗했고 방에 네일 파일과 칫솔 등과 같은 좋은 터치의 품목이있었습니다. 침대는 매우 편안했고 호텔은 조용했습니다. 에어컨은 훌륭했고 방을 차갑게 유지했습니다. 멋진 샤워! 훌륭한 가치와 로마에 다시 간다면 여기에 머물 것입니다!
