This really is a 10/10 place. My husband and my favourite place we’ve stayed, this trip to Thailand. We’ve already decided we want to come back, with friends, next time. We wanted a place to cut our drive to Bangkok and had no idea Sarat Thani and the surrounding area had so much to offer. Mr. Pongsak, the owner, could not be more lovely. He is so thoughtful and invested in making sure everyone who stays has the best experience and shares his knowledge of the area and all the things there are to do and see. We drove a rented car, and found it sooooo peaceful and relaxing to be there. And so close to get to town, markets and lots of yummy foods. We cannot wait to share this gem with friends and try the other cabins. The pond with all its fish is a gorgeous water feature too. They opened in 2025 and are building a third cabin. They are modern and still so charming and relaxing. Cannot wait til we can return on our next trip. My only concern is that it is such a great spot and is going to be so popular, we will need to book well in advance next time! Thank you for everything. See you next time, Mr. Pongsak and family.

The hotel was ok nothing special, however I only stayed 1 night as I was just passing through. 7 11 very close along with a small market and a walk over a little bridge to the smallest named island ive ever been to in Thailand.

The hotel is comfortable, close to Central Surat Thani, and traffic is light. The rooms are relatively new and clean, and the staff provides good service.

CBD Hotel Suratthani turned out to be a very pleasant place to stay, especially for a short visit to the city. The hotel feels modern, clean, and well maintained, with everything organized in a comfortable and practical way. The rooms are spacious, bright, and very clean, with comfortable beds and all the basic amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The air conditioning works well, the Wi‑Fi is stable, and the bathrooms are in good condition with reliable hot water. The location is excellent, right in the center of Surat Thani, which makes it easy to reach bus stations, pier transfers, and local restaurants or cafés on foot or with a short ride. At the same time, the hotel is quiet enough at night, so it is easy to rest after a long day of traveling. The staff at the reception are friendly, professional, and available 24 hours, always ready to help with information about transport, tickets, or nearby places. Check‑in and check‑out are quick and smooth, and the overall service gives a feeling of care and reliability. Overall, this hotel is a very good choice if you need a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place in Surat Thani. It offers great value for money, and is easy to recommend to travelers who are passing through or staying for a couple of days in the city.

The pool is beautiful, makes you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. The hotel is a little unloved/dated but the rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. Aside from a Lotus shopping mall across the road and a bigger Central Plaza Mall five mins drive away there isn’t really much else around but as we were only here for one night before a transfer to Khao Sok it was fine and at £17 a night couldn’t really complain. Found an amazing restaurant a couple of minutes walk away and sat outside and had ‘hot pot’ with some local residents. The breakfast was the only downside, the food was left uncovered so it was cold and had flies around it.

Good location if you need to get to the pier! Nothing else going on around the hotel. Clean and comfortable

A very reasonably priced hotel with clean and comfy room and small balcony. The location is just over the bridge the other side from the main town but it is quite peaceful and very easy to access the night markets. I would recommend renting a moped or even a bicycle would be fine. If you visit, walk down to the waterfront near the crossroads bar and you might see a big monitor lizard in the tree. Also I recommend a little trip to Koh Lamphu which is a little island you can go around on foot or bicycle. Next to the entrance there is a little food market which opens at night. A perfect way to experience a bit of local Thai life.
