Amazing hotel - would highly recommend staying here.
We stayed at serenity resort for 2 nights on arriving at Koh Chang from Bangkok. The location is so so idyllic and relaxing, absolutely beautiful. We also stayed on the west side of the island for a couple of nights and while it is quieter on the east side of the island (ie, there is no point in leaving the resort in the evening as there is nothing really to do on the east side after dark) this is exactly what we were after.
The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Food and drinks at the restaurant were great and reasonably priced. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Lovely view.
As other reviews have said, if you are staying here you will likely want your own transport so you can explore. We rented a moped from the resort at a very reasonable price. If you want to rent a car make sure you have an intl driving permit (takes a few mins to obtain but must do whilst in the UK). There’s barely any traffic on this side of the island so the drive down to long beach at the south of the island felt very safe on a moped despite the hills (and would be the same in a car). The resort staff recommended us to do this and then get kayaks over to Koh ngam, which we did and was a great experience!
The other option is to rent a taxi for a day (we were quoted c2500 baht for 6 hours) and they can drop you wherever you like and wait for you.

리리뷰어We had a wonderful stay at The Aiyapura Koh Chang. From the moment we arrived, everything was well organized and welcoming. The king room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The resort itself is beautifully located in a peaceful area, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the special arrangements at the restaurant made our evening even more memorable. The view, atmosphere, and overall service were excellent.
The facilities are well maintained, and the quiet beachfront setting makes it ideal for couples looking to unwind and enjoy nature.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Koh Chang. 🌴✨

SSvetushОтель расположен прямо на берегу. От мостика идти по пляжу 5 минут. Поэтому у отеля есть услуга доставка багажа - кто из гостей доходит до ресепшен, а потом работник на мотике с коляской привозит багаж. Очень приветливый персонал. Выходишь с бунгало, несколько шагов и море. Лежаки закреплены за каждым бунгало. В этом году море было мутновато, вечером была мошка кусучая. Рядом кафе , где можно и позавтракать, и пообедать, и поужинать. В 10 минутах есть тайский магазин под навесом с приемлемыми ценами. На туктуке можно доехать до пирса Бангбао

키즈클럽이 있는데 에어컨이 좀 덥네요.
수영장도 있고 워터파크도 있어서 놀 수 있어요.
하지만 수영장 중앙에 있는 분홍색과 노란색 미끄럼틀은 비판하고 싶습니다. 그가 떠다닐 수 있을 만큼 땅이 매끄럽지 않았습니다. 그러다가 엉덩이를 부딪혀서 많이 아팠어요. 그의 발뒤꿈치가 미끄럼틀 바닥에 부딪혀 다시 멍이 들었습니다. 바닥이 매끄러울 수 있도록 개선해 주시면 좋을 것 같습니다.

Pleasant wooden floors. Multiple swimming pools.
Rooms are cleaned per request. Drinking water bottles are changed regularly.
Very friendly staff. Got us checked in earlier.

리리뷰어우리는 침실이 두 개 있는 패밀리룸에 머물렀습니다. 한 객실에는 큰 침대가 있고, 다른 한 객실에는 싱글 침대 2개가 있습니다. 욕실 2개, 화장실 2개, 세면대 2개. 가족 여행객에게는 숙박 시설이 매우 넓습니다. 태국 스타일의 목조 주택은 개인적으로 매우 아름답다고 생각합니다. 침실은 분리되어 있으며, 침실에는 에어컨이 설치되어 있습니다. 그래서 욕실은 낮에는 정말 더워요. 목조주택이라 단열이 안되어 있고, 에어컨도 좀 오래되어서 시끄럽고, 효율도 별로 좋지 않습니다. 낮에 에어컨을 켜면 침실은 좀 더운 편이지만, 밤에는 괜찮습니다. 또 다른 문제는 온수기가 없다는 점인데, 태국은 매우 더워서 괜찮습니다.

리리뷰어호텔은 훌륭해요. 우리는 실제로 청소가 어떻게 이루어지는지 이해하지 못했습니다. 그들은 ”요청에 따라서” 청소를 해 주었지만, 물과 수건은 매일 가져왔습니다. 이 호텔은 모든 가격대의 객실을 갖추고 있습니다. 게다가 가장 예산에 맞는 것들이 가장 활기차죠. 우리는 이런 호텔에 익숙하지 않았지만, 체류가 끝나갈 무렵에는 이런 호텔이 마음에 들었습니다. 침대 린넨과 수건은 모두 새것입니다. 매우 매우 맛있는 음식이 정말 최고예요. 모든 4성급 호텔이 이런 식사를 제공할 수는 없거든요. 커피부터 샌드위치까지 모든 음식이 정말 맛있어요. 위치가 매우 좋습니다: 레스토랑(Dang,...)까지 차로 5분 거리입니다. 바다는 환상적이네요. 수영장은 작지만 아름다운데, 특히 저녁에 보면 더욱 아름답습니다. 일몰은 가장 아름답습니다. 다시 돌아오자.

AAmideeThis hotel is situated over the water with stilts, which I loved. Its unique appearance, with all its natural wood flooring and decks adds to its charm and feel of the fishing community. It’s a terrific place to stay for some great Thai Seafood!
The VIP rooms are recommended as they are spacious and have a lovely outside space to relax over looking the water. They also have plenty of windows and natural lighting. These rooms are very comfortable.
It has a restaurant attached to it, also over the water on stilts, which serves fantastic, fresh sea food dishes! My favorite meals was the barracuda with sweet and sour sauce and the calamari. They are good sized meals and their fresh juices are also perfect for the heat!
Aoys farm bakery and cafe is also very close by. If you go to your left of the entrance to this hotel you will see the sign for her cafe and bakery. Aoy makes the most delicious cakes that are supplied to many hotels and businesses on the island! Highly recommend going to see her charming cafe and bakery! It’s a short walk and great for fantastic breakfasts and fresh juices or warm drinks, if you don’t want sea food at the resort, go there!
The pool is lovely, as the water below the hotel is not clean and we did not want to swim in it. There are other beach locations for swimming.
You can hire a fishing rod and do some DIY fishing, or pay for fishing half or full day trips, hire bikes, and kayaks. I was satisfied with this location and would certainly consider staying there again for a night or two!

리리뷰어이번이 꼬창에 두 번째 방문이었는데, 친구 가족 두 곳과 함께 차로 여행했어요. 호텔 가격도 적당했고, 호텔에서 하루 종일 시간을 보내기에도 충분했어요. 아이들도 정말 즐거워했고요. 다만 아쉬웠던 점은 호텔이 방바오 어촌 마을과는 가까웠지만, 섬으로 가는 선착장까지는 조금 멀었다는 거예요.
