The location was excellent and very convenient for visiting the Prophet’s Mosque, which made my time in Madinah especially meaningful. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout my visit. I would also like to express my appreciation for the professionalism and kindness of the staff, who were always helpful and attentive. Their warm service made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, everything met and exceeded my expectations, and I felt well cared for during my time at your hotel. Thank you once again for your hospitality. Trip.com described Sofitel as a leading premium hotel and we were so excited to give a try. But it turned out to be not quite accurate : 1. The hotel layout, its setting in particular the lobby area and reception is so small and does not exude any premium vibes. 2. The lifts, are also quite tiny and if a wheelchair user gets in, then it feels crowded already. 3. The room once we entered was not fully ready eg wrong name displayed on tv screen, bathrobe not hung as it should be, no towels etc etc. Pls refer to the pictures attached.

Our stay at InterContinental Madinah Dar Al Iman was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The hotel perfectly blends luxury, comfort, and spirituality, offering everything one could wish for when visiting the Prophet’s Mosque. The location is unbeatable, just steps away from Al-Masjid An-Nabawi, with direct access to the ladies’ and men’s prayer gates, making it incredibly convenient, especially during prayer times. The rooms were spacious, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds, soft linens, and all the amenities expected from a top tier hotel. The view of the Prophet’s Mosque from our window was breathtaking and made every moment feel extra special. Service throughout our stay was impeccable. The staff were courteous, professional, and genuinely kind, always ready to assist with a smile. Check in and checkout were smooth, and housekeeping was attentive to every detail. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of international and Middle Eastern dishes, all fresh and delicious. The restaurant staff were warm and accommodating, making sure every guest felt welcome. Overall, InterContinental Dar Al Iman truly stands out for its prime location, world class hospitality, and serene atmosphere. It’s the ideal place for anyone visiting Madinah, whether for Umrah, Hajj, or personal reflection. We left with hearts full of gratitude and peace, and we’ll definitely stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommended! A 5-star experience in every sense!

One of the best hotels in Madinah. Very close to Masjid Nabi S.A.W for the men (gate 365) It takes literally 5 mins to get to the masjid. On the quieter side of the masjid compared to the other side with all the buzz and it's very close to Jannatul Baqi too. The room size itself is massive. You get all the amenities in the rooms like slippers, bathrobes, shower gel etc. safe box in the cupboards which are big enough for all the clothes and even have an iron and ironing board in the room. All The staff are amazing and friendly especially the cleaners,. dining staff and luggage men. Very helpful and even gave us an extra 1 hour to check out because we were running late. Id definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

5 minutes walk from nabawi, we wery enjoyed our time in this hotel. Relatively new room on 13th floor and very spacious for us. Will be back to peninsula for next pilgrimage

서비스는 훌륭합니다. 리셉션에서 도어맨까지 모든 직원은 매우 도움이되고 깨끗하며 흠이없는 방이지만 같은 가격의 다른 호텔에 비해 편의 시설은 너무 만족스럽지 않습니다. 위치는 310번 게이트(남자 게이트) 근처에 완벽하며, 버기 카트를 타고 취바까지 조금 걸어가면 나바위 여자 게이트 근처에 선물 가게보다 저렴한 가격으로 무료로 쇼핑할 수 있는 선물 가게가 많이 있습니다.

원래 다른 호텔을 예약했었는데, 도착하자마자 바로 예약을 취소하고 최대한 빨리 다른 호텔을 찾았어요. 깨끗하고, 나바위 모스크 근처에 있으면서 가격도 적당한 곳을 원했죠. 인터컨티넨탈이라는 브랜드는 알고 있었지만, 두 곳 모두 인터컨티넨탈이어서 조금 더 괜찮아 보이는 곳으로 선택했어요. 호텔은 오래전에 지어졌고, 리모델링 계획 중이라는 정보를 미리 알고 있었기 때문에 어떤 모습일지 예상할 수 있었어요. 호텔 특유의 파란색 카펫과 1950년대/1960년대 분위기가 너무 좋았어요 (숀 코너리가 나오는 제임스 본드 영화 속 한 장면 같았죠). 호텔에 머무는 동안 점점 더 마음에 들었어요. 창밖 풍경은 정말 환상적이었어요. 창문을 열 수 있다는 거 잊지 마세요! 아마 열 수 없다고 생각하는 사람들도 있을 텐데, 정말 특별한 경험이니 꼭 한번 열어보세요. 무엇보다도, 친절하고 배려심 넘치는 직원분들 덕분에 인터컨티넨탈 호텔에 묵고 있다는 사실을 잊고 마치 친구 집에 온 것 같은 편안함을 느꼈습니다. 창문 너머로 우후드 산이 보이는 멋진 전망을 자랑하는 객실에서 묵었는데, 호텔 바로 앞에 카페들이 즐비하고 모스크도 산책로를 따라 5분 정도 걸어가면 도착할 수 있습니다. 비둘기에게 먹이를 줄 수도 있고, 우버나 택시도 바로 앞에서 저렴하게 이용할 수 있습니다. 우후드 산이나 쿠바까지도 걸어갈 수 있고, 어디든 편하게 갈 수 있습니다. 그리고 가장 좋은 점은 로비에 들어서자마자 바로 앞에 체크인/안내 데스크가 있다는 것입니다. 참고: 사람 구경하는 것을 좋아한다면 호텔 객실에서 바깥 풍경을 감상하는 것도 아주 좋습니다. 로비에 무료 대추야자와 아랍 커피(세계 최고 수준)를 제공하는 커피 바가 있고, 이 호텔의 조식과 룸서비스 음식은 제가 44세에 51개국을 여행하며 먹어본 것 중 최고였습니다. 메카에서 묵었던 자발 오마르 호텔과 비교해도 손색이 없거나 오히려 더 훌륭했습니다. 이 호텔에 묵으시면 절대 후회하지 않으실 겁니다. 혹시라도 문제가 생기면 객실 전화로 안내되는 번호 중 아무거나 누르시면 누군가 바로 해결해 드릴 겁니다. 호텔 경영진은 정말 최고였고, 저를 친구나 가족처럼 대해주셨습니다. 특히 카디자 수녀님을 비롯한 직원분들 덕분에 정말 만족스러워서 다시 방문하고 싶습니다. 마샤알라.

우리는 가족과 함께 Madinah에서 2 박 동안 여기에 머물 렀습니다. 1박 요금은 비싼 편이지만 이 지역의 다른 유사한 호텔과 일치하는 느낌이 들었습니다. 위치는 괜찮습니다. Al-Haram까지 15-minute 드라이브 주변에 있지만 셔틀 서비스는 전혀 없습니다. 긍정적 인면에서 방과 전반적인 시설은 깨끗했습니다. 불행히도 몇 가지 문제가 우리의 체류에 정말 영향을 미쳤습니다. 건물 바로 뒤에 (거의 부착된) 공사가 있으며, 우리는 몇 시간 동안 계속되는 논스톱 드릴로 오전 7시경에 깨어났습니다. 소음 때문에 우리는 결국 호텔을 떠나 낮에 가능한 한 많이 밖에 머물게되었습니다. 이것은 솔직히 우리가 가진 최악의 호텔 경험 중 하나였습니다. 호텔은 예약 시 이 소음/건설 상황을 명확하게 공유할 수 있는 예의가 있어야 하므로 손님이 정보를 입력할 수 있습니다. 주차는 또 다른 주요 도전이었습니다. 주차가 매우 협소하고 접근이 쉽지 않아 자동차로 여행하는 경우 상당히 어렵고 스트레스가 있을 수 있습니다. 마지막으로, 직원 동안 우리는 상호 작용했고 친절했습니다. 도움이 필요할 때 누군가를 찾기가 종종 어려웠습니다.

This hotel was supposed to be 3.5 kilometres in a straight line to Masjid Al nabawi but due to road works we ended up travelling 9 km each way. The hotel itself is a converted apartment building that turned into Suites probably because the owner couldn't sell the apartments due to the area not close to any business centres or shopping malls. Prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly and communication is great No USB charging ports provided anywhere including lounge or bedrooms. No towels or any cleaning supplies provided to keep this little apartment clean. Bathroom floors were extremely slippery to the level I would call dangerous. Bathroom fittings, kitchen ,bedrooms and all furniture in living area also large and comfortable , but we booked for six beds they only provided us 5 beds plus a thin single mattress , which was a great disappointment. But for us, the biggest drawback was that it's too far from Masjid Al nabawi and not suitable even at low prices. I would recommend paying more to be closer to Masjid Al nabawi there are plenty of options within 15-20 minutes walk at good price, but if your reason to stay in Madina is not Masjid Al nabawi, then this hotel suite is okay, just consider all the notes I made above.
