Serenity resort Amazing hotel - would highly recommend staying here. We stayed at serenity resort for 2 nights on arriving at Koh Chang from Bangkok. The location is so so idyllic and relaxing, absolutely beautiful. We also stayed on the west side of the island for a couple of nights and while it is quieter on the east side of the island (ie, there is no point in leaving the resort in the evening as there is nothing really to do on the east side after dark) this is exactly what we were after. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Food and drinks at the restaurant were great and reasonably priced. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Lovely view. As other reviews have said, if you are staying here you will likely want your own transport so you can explore. We rented a moped from the resort at a very reasonable price. If you want to rent a car make sure you have an intl driving permit (takes a few mins to obtain but must do whilst in the UK). There’s barely any traffic on this side of the island so the drive down to long beach at the south of the island felt very safe on a moped despite the hills (and would be the same in a car). The resort staff recommended us to do this and then get kayaks over to Koh ngam, which we did and was a great experience! The other option is to rent a taxi for a day (we were quoted c2500 baht for 6 hours) and they can drop you wherever you like and wait for you. Thanks again for a lovely stay at serenity resort!!

A Tropical Paradise with World-Class Service! We recently stayed at The Aiyapura, and it was hands-down one of the best resort experiences we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, the staff was amazing—always attentive, smiling, and ready to help with a ”can-do” attitude. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and sits right on the beach, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. A few highlights from our stay: • Dining: The food was delicious! Every meal exceeded our expectations. • Amenities: Everything was top-notch and well-maintained. • Logistics: Their shuttle service is the best—super convenient and always on time. If you are looking for a perfect getaway with great vibes and excellent service, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

이 호텔은 넓고 아름다운 녹지 공간과 깨끗한 수영장을 자랑합니다. 방갈로는 다소 오래되었지만 TV, 냉장고, 에어컨(천장에 설치되어 있어 소음이 심함)이 갖춰져 있습니다. 조명도 부족한 편인데, 천장 중앙의 램프 하나와 사슬로 연결된 협탁 위의 스탠드 조명(모든 객실에 있는 것은 아님)이 전부입니다. 콘센트도 몇 개 없습니다! 배관 시설은 새것은 아니지만 사용에는 문제가 없습니다. 온수기가 설치되어 있어 샤워할 때만 따뜻한 물이 나옵니다. 모든 방갈로에서 인터넷이 잘 되는 것은 아니니 체크인 시 확인하세요. 칫솔은 없고 샤워캡과 수건이 제공됩니다. 목욕 가운도 있지만 모두 구멍이 날 정도로 낡았고 ”라모야나” 로고가 찍혀 있습니다. 슬리퍼와 우산도 제공됩니다. 수건은 새하얀 색이며 매일 교체됩니다! 하지만 침대 시트는 대부분 합성 섬유로 되어 있고, 종종 회색으로 변색되어 있습니다... 운이 좋으면 깨끗한 시트로 교체되기도 합니다. 각 방갈로에는 나무 의자 두 개와 테이블이 있는 발코니가 있습니다. 호텔 내에는 헬스장, 스파, 레스토랑도 있습니다. 조식은 뷔페식으로 제공되는데, 종류는 많지 않지만 맛있습니다. 다만 커피는 원두를 직접 갈아서 내주는 건 아니었어요! 직원들은 친절하고 세심하게 응대해 주었습니다. 항상 손님을 배려하고 만족시켜 드리려고 노력하는 모습이 인상적이었습니다. 다만 한 가지 아쉬웠던 점은 저녁 8시부터 호텔 전체의 조명이 꺼진다는 것이었습니다. 호텔 규모도 크고 녹지도 많은데 조명을 끄는 건 좀 이상한 결정인 것 같아요! 정말 불편했습니다.

나는 이곳을 정말 좋아합니다. 돈 가치가 있습니다. 키즈클럽이 있는데 에어컨이 좀 덥네요. 수영장도 있고 워터파크도 있어서 놀 수 있어요. 하지만 수영장 중앙에 있는 분홍색과 노란색 미끄럼틀은 비판하고 싶습니다. 그가 떠다닐 수 있을 만큼 땅이 매끄럽지 않았습니다. 그러다가 엉덩이를 부딪혀서 많이 아팠어요. 그의 발뒤꿈치가 미끄럼틀 바닥에 부딪혀 다시 멍이 들었습니다. 바닥이 매끄러울 수 있도록 개선해 주시면 좋을 것 같습니다.

Nice location, even though it requires a 5-10-minute walk to get to the beach. Also there is an outdoor market/food court next door, which plays loud music on weekend nights. Pleasant wooden floors. Multiple swimming pools. Rooms are cleaned per request. Drinking water bottles are changed regularly. Very friendly staff. Got us checked in earlier.

정말 만족스러웠어요. 5초면 바다에 도착할 수 있거든요! 아침 식사 전에 수영을 하러 갔는데, 수영복 차림으로 방을 나서서 잠깐 물에 들어갔다가 바로 샤워하러 돌아왔어요. 직원분들도 친절하고 상냥했어요. 도움을 요청하면 언제든 도와주셨고요. 방은 좀 낡았어요. 가구도 닳았고 수건에도 구멍이 좀 있었지만, 모든 게 깨끗해서 낡은 가구 같은 사소한 건 신경 쓰이지 않았어요. 수건은 매일 바꿔주셨어요. 한번은 청소하시는 분들께 작은 초콜릿을 드렸더니 수건으로 백조 모양을 만들어 주시더라고요. 한 가지 아쉬운 점은 트리플룸이었는데 천장이 낮았어요. 저희는 키가 165~166cm라서 괜찮았는데, 키가 172cm인 친구는 좀 불편하다고 하더라고요. 아침 식사는 괜찮았어요. 양도 푸짐했고요. 고기는 별로 없었고 생선은 아예 없었지만, 햄이나 소시지 같은 전통적인 아침 메뉴는 항상 있었어요. 스크램블 에그, 오믈렛, 팬케이크. 채소, 과일(멜론, 수박). 요구르트, 천연 베리로 만든 잼(개별 포장), 시리얼. 빵은 토스터로 구워 먹을 수 있고, 빵도 있습니다. 아침 식사는 소박했지만 먹을 만했고, 때로는 맛있기도 했습니다. 우리는 아침 식사에 만족했습니다. 호텔을 고를 때 바다와의 위치와 가격이 마음에 들었거든요. 근처(바다를 등지고 섰을 때 오른쪽)에 마크로 대형마트가 있어서 거기서 과일을 샀습니다. 대부분의 편의시설은(바다를 등지고 섰을 때) 왼쪽 길가에 있습니다. 우리는 이 호텔이 마음에 들어서 추천합니다.

This hotel is situated over the water with stilts, which I loved. Its unique appearance, with all its natural wood flooring and decks adds to its charm and feel of the fishing community. It’s a terrific place to stay for some great Thai Seafood! The VIP rooms are recommended as they are spacious and have a lovely outside space to relax over looking the water. They also have plenty of windows and natural lighting. These rooms are very comfortable. It has a restaurant attached to it, also over the water on stilts, which serves fantastic, fresh sea food dishes! My favorite meals was the barracuda with sweet and sour sauce and the calamari. They are good sized meals and their fresh juices are also perfect for the heat! Aoys farm bakery and cafe is also very close by. If you go to your left of the entrance to this hotel you will see the sign for her cafe and bakery. Aoy makes the most delicious cakes that are supplied to many hotels and businesses on the island! Highly recommend going to see her charming cafe and bakery! It’s a short walk and great for fantastic breakfasts and fresh juices or warm drinks, if you don’t want sea food at the resort, go there! The pool is lovely, as the water below the hotel is not clean and we did not want to swim in it. There are other beach locations for swimming. You can hire a fishing rod and do some DIY fishing, or pay for fishing half or full day trips, hire bikes, and kayaks. I was satisfied with this location and would certainly consider staying there again for a night or two!

이번이 꼬창에 두 번째 방문이었는데, 친구 가족 두 곳과 함께 차로 여행했어요. 호텔 가격도 적당했고, 호텔에서 하루 종일 시간을 보내기에도 충분했어요. 아이들도 정말 즐거워했고요. 다만 아쉬웠던 점은 호텔이 방바오 어촌 마을과는 가까웠지만, 섬으로 가는 선착장까지는 조금 멀었다는 거예요.

문제를 해결하기 위해 최선을 다한 놀라운 직원. 냉장고와 주전자 등을 갖춘 멋진 클린룸. 하우스키핑은 환상적이었습니다. 훌륭한 해변 위치, 멋진 수영장, 멋진 레스토랑, 시내 중심부에 있는 편안한 침대가 있지만 밤에는 전혀 시끄럽지 않습니다. 시내에 있고 싶지만 너무 격한 파티는 원하지 않는 분들에게 이상적입니다.
