'This hotel is small but cozy. The staff was friendly and accomodated our request for breakfast without reservation. It's a simple and hearty breakfast, we all loved it. We were able to rent our wet suits here too, which we cleaned afterwards. Overall excellent experience here. There are not many food options here, so we relied on this hotel's restaurant. There are washing machines and dryers here.'

'It was one problem. I was unable to use the first night due to unforeseen weather conditions. Specifically, the sea ferry service was canceled because of high waves, preventing me from reaching the hotel. I requested a refund for the unused night due to the circumstances beyond my control. Unfortunately, it was rejected. I think this is not a very good practice considering that the hotel may have limited access. Honestly, the island is so beautiful that I want to come back. And it's the only one hotel at this beach. The staying was good. I'm confused.'

'The hotel is in a great location just minutes walk from two spectacular beaches and a few nearby restaurant/izakaya options within easy walking distance. They provided a useful map of the area with recommended places for food. The hotel includes the option of a pleasant Japanese or Western set breakfast with 3 given time options and dinner included 2 time options. Both options were very tasty. Unfortunately the coffee was not great and a second cup of sub-par coffee at breakfast is charged extra. The 5 course dinners were very enjoyable, particularly the antipasto and soups. The evening meals were quite light despite the multi-course menu, which varied for each of my 5 nights. They accommodated my pescetarian diet which I informed them of in advance. The room was quite spacious for Japan, with a very comfortable bed, and the bathroom was modern and clean. I appreciated the small 7 room size and child-free policy of the hotel. The rooms are on the second floor via stairs (no elevator, so not accessible for everyone). Free self-laundry is available, which was useful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, without being obtrusive. The hotel is affiliated with a specialist snorkel/diving instructor with expert insight and my snorkelling tour was a real highlight. It looks like it's the best hotel option on Tokashiki and I will happily stay here again without hesitation. Overall a very relaxing retreat on a stunning island.'
