⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Location, Cozy Room—Watch the Bed! Vicci Consulado de Bilbao has a fantastic location—right in the heart of the city, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport. It’s perfect for exploring Bilbao on foot. The room itself was stylish and clean, though quite compact. If you’re traveling light, it’s fine, but space is definitely tight. One funny (and slightly painful) moment: I actually fell off the bed! It’s positioned close to the wall and a bit narrow, so maybe not ideal if you toss and turn at night. Despite that, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe of the hotel was modern and welcoming. I’d recommend it for solo travelers or couples who don’t mind a snug space and want to be in the middle of the action.

Me alojé en el Axel Hotel Bilbao y quedé muy satisfecho con mi estancia. El hotel cuenta con sauna y jacuzzi, y además tiene una piscina en la azotea que es perfecta para relajarse. El check-in es a partir de las 15:00, pero como la habitación estaba disponible, me permitieron entrar un poco antes, lo cual agradecí mucho. El personal fue muy amable en todo momento. Sin duda, una experiencia muy positiva. ¡Volvería a alojarme aquí!

Stay: 2 nights in February 2026 Review: 1. Very cold room and bathroom. The room and especially the bathroom were extremely cold. When the air conditioner is turned on for heating, it blows directly onto the heads of people sleeping in the bed, making it uncomfortable and difficult to breathe. 2. Very noisy. The room faces a busy street. People were talking and making noise outside throughout the night. The sound insulation is very poor. 3. Extremely small room. The room is clearly designed for one person (this is even indicated on the hotel’s floor plan), but we were accommodated there as two guests. There is almost no space to place luggage or personal belongings. The bathroom also has no shelves at all. 4. Uncomfortable toilet placement. The toilet is positioned in such a way that it can only be used diagonally, which I consider completely unacceptable. 5. Missing desk shown in photos. The room photos showed a writing desk, but it was not actually present. We had to spend time requesting and arranging for a desk to be brought to the room, as it was necessary for work. 6. Parking information is misleading. The hotel description states that parking is available, but in reality it is about a 15-minute walk away. This is very inconvenient when traveling with luggage. We only discovered this upon arrival. This information was not communicated in advance. There is also nowhere near the hotel to stop even for 5 minutes to unload luggage. Additionally, there is no reception desk at the hotel, so it is difficult to quickly ask for assistance.

사우나가 숙박에 포함되어 있다고 생각했기 때문에 호텔을 예약했습니다. 온라인으로 예약하면 추가 비용이 들지 않는다고 직원에게 말했더니, 스파의 일부라고 했습니다. 스파의 일부인 경우 언급하고 스파 섹션에 포함하지 않는 이유가 매우 혼란스럽습니다. 스파와 사우나는 같지 않으며 비용이 든다면 언급해야 합니다. 다른 것은 모두 훌륭했습니다. 또한 사우나에만 별도 비용이 없습니다! 헬스장과 사우나만 사용하고 싶었는데 스파는 없었습니다! 스파 없이 사우나를 예약할 수 있는 방법은 없었습니다. 하루에 20유로가 아니라 이용당 20유로인데, 특히 호텔에 이미 예약했고 객실 요금도 지불한 경우라면 엄청 비싼 것 같았습니다! 직원들은 다시 한번 융통성을 보이지 않았습니다. 사용하지 않을 것에 대해 비용을 지불하거나 사용하지 않는 것 중 하나였습니다! 결국 예약하지 않았어요. 스파를 이용하고 싶지 않았고, 사우나만 15분 이용하는 데 20유로라는 돈이 너무 많이 든다고 생각했거든요.

Great location! Excellent restaurants around (remember to try Demaio fresh made pasta with organic ingredients in front of hotel!). Walking distance to metro station to access Bilbao estacion de autobuses, shopping galore! Highly recommend this hotel! Big room, big bathroom as in USA standards!

Great hotel and location, clean, provides all the amenities, great service and has a lovely coffee shop at the reception too. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family. One small improvement I would suggest and this is just personal preference, not something that should deter someone from booking, it would be great if there was a fridge in the room so you could keep drinks cool whilst you are spending time there.

호텔 위치는 기차역 바로 옆이라 정말 좋았습니다. 차를 반납하고 걸어서 5분밖에 안 걸리고, 길 건너편에는 브리티시 팰리스 백화점이 있고, 위층에는 필요한 모든 것을 살 수 있는 슈퍼마켓이 있습니다. 사실 빌바오 시내는 꽤 작아서 모든 것이 걸어서 20분 정도 걸립니다. 구겐하임 미술관도 마찬가지입니다. 객실 자체는 특별히 좋지도 나쁘지도 않았습니다. 저희는 거리 쪽 저층에 묵었는데, 방음은 훌륭했습니다. 다만 가로수 때문에 전망이 완전히 가려져 있었습니다. 객실에는 소파, 욕조, 욕실에는 별도의 라디에이터가 있어서 에어컨은 잘 작동하지 않았지만 난방은 꽤 편안했습니다. 대부분의 유럽 국가처럼 침대가 너무 푹신했는데, 어쩔 수 없었습니다. 저희 객실에는 조식이 포함되어 있지 않았고, 일요일이라 호텔의 미슐랭 스타 레스토랑은 이용하지 못했습니다.

A True Gem That Feels Like a 4-Star Hotel! My stay at the Sercotel Arenal Bilbao was flawless. The hotel is absolutely spotless, with lovely decor and beautiful views from the room. The entire hotel, from the elegant lobby to my room, was spotless. It was clear that the housekeeping team takes immense pride in their work, ensuring a pristine and hygienic environment that immediately made me feel at ease. The reception staff provided excellent, warm service. The breakfast was perfect—not too big, not too small, but just the right selection for an amazing start to the day. The management is clearly doing a fantastic job. With this level of quality and attention to detail, this hotel truly operates like a four-star property. I can't wait to return.
