This trip came with an unexpected situation when our original accommodation, Mountainside Reverie, was suddenly closed without prior notice to Trip.com. Given the urgency, we immediately contacted Trip.com—and this turned out to be one of the most impressive customer service experiences we’ve had. Their support team responded promptly and handled the situation with professionalism. They canceled our original booking free of charge and allowed us to select a new accommodation on the spot. We eventually chose to stay at Heishui Gaduo Manor Homestay. Additionally, Trip.com compensated us with coins for future discounts, demonstrating genuine care for their customers. What started as a disruption turned into a surprisingly positive experience—thanks to efficient problem-solving and a warm, comfortable new stay. Unexpected moments can become meaningful highlights—when you have the right travel partner like Trip.com by your side. Following the unexpected change of plans, we stayed at Heishui Gaduo Manor Homestay, and it turned out to be a genuinely heartwarming experience. Although the staff did not speak English, their willingness to help was evident in every interaction. Through gestures, smiles, and sincere effort, they made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. As we were preparing to visit Dagu Glacier Scenic Area, we purchased instant noodles and additional canned oxygen from the property, just to be safe for the high altitude. The prices were fair and reasonable, with no sense of overcharging. What stood out the most was the genuine hospitality—proving that meaningful service goes beyond language. True hospitality isn’t defined by words, but by the sincerity and care you feel along the journey.

Staying at Yunhu Boutique Guesthouse was an unforgettable experience. The property combines modern comfort with the tranquility of the mountains, giving us the perfect place to relax and recharge. The room was beautifully designed—clean, warm, and cozy—with large windows that opened to stunning views of the valley and cloud-covered peaks. Waking up to that scenery was absolutely magical. The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive. They helped with everything from local travel tips to meal arrangements, and their hospitality made us feel truly at home. The location is ideal for anyone planning to visit Heishui or explore the surrounding nature. Quiet, peaceful, and far from the crowds—just the way a mountain getaway should be. Highly recommended. We would love to come back again soon!

Nothing much to do in this city, just for a short stay before going to Bipenggou. We arrived there at late evening and just had a chance for having dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The dinner and breakfast were just soso (not bad). The room was simple and big. It's good for staying in this city for arriving Bipenggou in the next day morning before tour group arrive.
