Also, very close to Wish Park where you can hop on a bus to go into Town (these come every 2 to 3 mins), or you can catch the Coastliner bus (stop is 30 metres away), to go into town or go west to Littlehampton (every 10mins). A taxi will cost approx £8 into town and take 5-10 mins. You can explore the famous Brighton Lanes and Pavilion, we would recommend a look inside this fabulous building.You have the South Downs 10-15 mins away if you fancy a walk in the countryside. If culture is your thing, the historic town of Lewes is 10 miles away, where you can visit Lewes Castle and the remains of the Lewes Priory. The beautiful Arundel Castle and gardens is half an hour's drive. In fact there are plenty of options for day trips from this perfect holiday home.Things to note : We are on hand if you need us, as we live in the maisonette above the garden flat, but we totally respect your privacy and you will remain undisturbed. If you need help or advise please and don't hesitate to ask.Other things to noteParking is on street, we will provide passes for the nights you are staying at no extra charge. The best streets to park on are Wish Road and Glendor Road, as close to the beach you can get. Just a minute across the road from Hove beach this flat is located on the 5th floor in this purpose built block of flats. There is a lift to this 2 bedroom flat that has uninterrupted sea views to the front and distant views of the south downs to the rear. The enclosed balcony is a sun trap and a perfect place to watch the world go by. The large lounge has a wall mounted TV and comfortable seating including two recliner armchairs as well as a glass coffee table and a console table with two chairs beside the window or dining for up to 6 people at the glass dining table. There is a large double bedroom and a twin bedroom, separate fully equipped kitchen, bath/shower room with WC and a separate WC. We recommend the flat for 4 people but it can accommodate 6 with two sleeping on the sofa bed in the lounge.Just across the road is the seafront promenade that stretches from the wake boarding and windsurf training in Hove Lagoon (https://www.lagoon.co.uk) all the way to Brighton Pier. (https://www.brightonpier.co.uk)We are just across the road from the beach but if you intend to go swimming in the sea, please remember that all Brighton and Hove beaches are covered in pebbles so water shoes or flip flops will be a good idea unless you have cast iron feet!The bus stops outside the flat and will take you into Hove restaurants in 5 minutes or Brighton town centre in 12 minutes. In the other direction to Shoreham-By Sea restaurants . A new restaurant called Rockwater opened last summer and is just a couple of minutes walk but you will need to book as it is very popular in its first season.
