Why doesn't Marriott enforce their own pool chair policy? People start placing towels on prime shaded chaise lounges before 8am and then they don't show up for 2-3 hours. Meanwhile, if you want a shaded spot, good luck!! These entitled people that they own these spots because they were selfish enough to put towels on the chairs before someone else. Marriott: enforce the no reserve policy or better yet, provide more shaded seating spots in the large green space next to the Napili pool. This one facet of the Napili Tower soured our experience because we really couldn't use the pool without doing what others were doing, and we weren't going to "be those people." Marriott: do better.

Acceptable accommodations, poor service! The rooms are alright but are starting to show their age. Even if they’re older, they could do better at cleaning and maintaining the facility. The staff were not very friendly around the pool area and seem inconvenienced by guests. The employee managing the slide (Wayne) made up rules to exclude certain kids and when I asked why those were different than what was posted he asked for my room number and wristband that NO ONE was wearing. I gladly went to get wristbands for my family and was told they had to be present. When I asked to speak to a manager the employee said “tourists” aloud and roll his eyes. Never have I been treated so poorly. My wife and I also booked a couples massage however when we showed up they said we had to do separate rooms or go back to back. They rebooked us for the day of checkout but wouldn’t let us do a late checkout to accommodate showering after. This is my last night so I’m hoping we can get a refund. Clearly the staff doesn’t want tourists visiting and management doesn’t seem to care since it was numerous employees. This trip was thousands of dollars… next time I’ll spend my money elsewhere where they welcome “tourists” and have a service culture.

BEWARE!! Only stay here if you want to be charged an extra $300 for damages you didn’t cause! After checkout, I was hit with a surprise charge. When I called to ask about it, they first claimed it was a smoking fee — but once I told them we weren’t smokers, they quickly changed their story and said it was for a cut they supposedly found on the couch. Let me be very clear: we left the room in perfect condition. I fully believe this slit on the couch was caused by their own housekeeping staff because it was clearly not there when we left the room! Someone had to use a knife or something to cause this damage. This is FRAUD!! I REFUSE to pay for something I didn’t do, and I’ll be disputing the charge with my bank. This hotel clearly lacks integrity. I wish I could give them zero stars. Stay FAR away — I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Requested for an upper floor room many times and still given a room on 1st floor with NO PRIVACY where anyone close to pool can see you in your room!!!! Lousy room location!! Front desk person calls the manager on you and was he able to help! NOPE! If I had known I would get a room where can’t even enjoy the view since folks can see me outside I would have never stayed here!!

When we decided to extend our vacation and fly over from Kauai we knew booking here, (having stayed here many times) we would not be disappointed...and we were not at all! Love this place, never stayed in this tower and I have to say - it was great...clean, nice views, and comfortable...the only downside was since its a vacation club being a lifetime Gold Elite member...means nothing really, point accumulation is good but no upgrades - but no biggie I didn't fly over to Maui to sit in the room! lol The main pool is the great, Hula show on Thursday, Happy Hour pricing on drinks, and Aloha Friday music both from 3-5 pm. Never did check out the adults only pool but it looks nice and peaceful and quiet. Great staff by the pool, in the bars, at the Bell Desk, and everywhere else...exactly what you would expect from a Marriott and more importantly that aloha spirit...Definitely enjoy a drink from the Lokelani Pool Bar, and the Beach Walk Kau Kau to Go - definitely worth a visit...and a short walk into Whaler's Village check out Leilani's on the Beach.......Mahalo and we will be back..
