Renovated craftsman style home in the heart of uptown New Orleans. Open kitchen and living room creates a wonderful space for the entire family to enjoy and opens to a patio and large backyard with a child swing set. Located on Jefferson Avenue, two blocks off Magazine Street and its famous Magazine Street shops, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, Whole Foods and Audubon Park. Great location to explore New Orleans and quick access to downtown. This is property has been updated and renovated, while maintaining the charm and historic architecture of New Orleans. The open kitchen and living room areas lead directly to a large patio with a wonderful spacious backyard. The private master suite is equipped with a private patio and luxurious master bath. Also, tucked away behind beautiful antique doors are two bedrooms with a shared full bath. An additional bedroom/office is located across from the large half bath. An added Camel Back adds two additional rooms upstairs, large closets, a full bath/shower combo, kitchenette and large living area.Search Casa Jefferson Ave Rental New Orlerans on Facebok for a walkthrough of our home. This property is ~4 miles from downtown which is about a 12 minute taxi ride. Also, is about 1 mile from Tulane/ Loyola University, Audubon Park and Audubon Zoo Mardi Gras:The parades that start on Jefferson Ave and Magazine St, they line up in front of our home and is a wonderful place for families with children to watch the parades.Beautiful entertaining area from the kitchen, sitting area, porch and backyard to enjoy while staying at the home. THE SPACEThis spacious apartment has an enclosed and comfortable front porch where guests can sit out and enjoy the cool of the evening while sipping their favorite beverage. The living room has a 32" TV and DVD player with a selection of music and movies for your enjoyment. The living room sofa opens into a queen bed. The entire apartment has lots of art celebrating the culture and heritage that is unique to New Orleans. The separate dining room has seating for 6 as well as a breakfast bar with 2 tall stools for a quick bite. The office area has a desk with a printer, a bookcase with a collection for your enjoyment, and a comfortable chair and lamp. The 3 bedrooms are completely separate and all have plenty of closet space. The front bedroom has a queen-sized bed; the largest rear bedroom has two XLTwins beds that can be either separate or placed together to form a king-size bed. The second rear bedroom has a queen-sized bed. There is a television in one of the rear bedrooms. The apartment has 2 full baths with a tub/shower. The enclosed rear porch leads to a landscaped yard with two patio areas. There is both a meyer's lemon tree and a blood orange tree that has just started to bear fruit. Guests are invited to pick whatever is growing. One area has table, chairs and umbrella for 4 and the other has the same configuration except for 8. Central heat and air to keep the home cool in summer and warm and cozy during winter months. While the house can sleep 8, guests are always asked to consider what is comfortable for their needs.GUEST ACCESSGuests will have a kitchen with pots/pans, dishes and flatware for 8, coffee maker, microwave, toaster and convection oven. There is an energy efficient washer and dryer in the kitchen area as well as a counter with 2 bar stools for casual dining. The cabinets are stocked with condiments, salt/pepper, spices, sugar, honey, coffee and tea. Extra sheets, towels, and blankets also provided. THE NEIGHBORHOODFreret Street is located Uptown and is dubbed the Freret Arts and Entertainment District. It is an area that is experiencing revitalization to bring it back to its former glory. The Freret Corridor is just 8 blocks long but can claim great restaurants, cafes, a bakery, unique bar and other local flavors. Every April, the Freret Street Festival blocks the street for food trucks, musicians and over 200 vendors. The first Saturday of each month, at the corner of Napoleon and Freret is the Freret Street Market. The market is divided into food, art and flea, and is a great place to explore, eat and enjoy the music. Eat too much? Stop in at Anytime Fitness, open 24/7. Explore BrottWork Design Studio to see custom art glass or Freret Clay Center nearby. From the apartment it is just 8 blocks to St. Charles Ave. which is a major parade route during Mardi Gras. The St. Charles streetcar takes you to downtown, the Convention Center, Harrah's Casino and the French Quarters. It's 2.5 miles from the Super Dome and just a 15 walk to Tulane and Loyola Universities. For Jazz Fest, the Fairgrounds are just 5.17 miles away by car. You can tell a lot about the quality of service when something goes wrong, and in this case, it did. The hot water system failed, and the way the staff handled it was great. It was fixed within a few hours, and partial refunds were offered before I even needed to request one. Otherwise, a perfect trip

방에 체크인하는 것은 산들 바람이었습니다. 고객 서비스 담당자는 그의 직업에 뛰어 났으며 심지어 내가 예약 한 투어에 대한 정보를 얻도록 도와주었습니다. 방 자체는 초라하거나 잘 어지고 냄새가났다. 매일 침대가 만들어진 점에서 하녀 서비스는 좋았지 만 침대 자체는 엉성했습니다. 욕조에 녹 얼룩이있었습니다. 담배를 피우기 위해 밖으로 나가려면 돈이나 담배를 요구하는 노숙자에게 폭격이 발생합니다. 호텔 앞에 서서 무언가를 기다리거나 그러한 괴롭힘으로 인해 신선한 공기를 마시는 손님을 보호하기 위해 더 많은 일을 할 수 있었던 것 같습니다. 나는 그 다음 손님이 담배를 피우러 갈 수있는 2 층에 발코니가 있다는 것을 알았습니다. 발코니에서 바라 보는 전망은 버본 스트리트 (Burbon Street) 바로 아래를 내려다 볼 때 훌륭합니다. 도시를 탐험하고 저녁 발코니에 가기 위해 며칠을 보내는 것이 나에게 일상이되었습니다. 어느 날 밤 발코니를 떠나 엘리베이터로 향하던 날 저는 벽에 앉은 여자를 쳐다보며 움츠러들었습니다. 그 여자는 눈 위에 종이 한 장의 사진이 있는 여자의 사진이 있었습니다. 2층에 화장실이 있어서 왜 그렇게 했는지 이해가 안 돼요. 그 사람이 어떤 사람인지 말하는 것 같아요. 저는 깜짝 놀랐어요. 그것이 아스토르에서 방을 예약하는 사람들의 유형을 나타낸다면, 그 호텔은 나에게 호텔이 아닙니다! 아니요, 나는 다시는 거기에 머물지 않을 것입니다.

Fantastic Hotel in perfect location, there is an abundance of great restaurants and shopping in the area It has a lovely pool area and parking which is extremely rare. Brad who has worked at the hotel for 43 years was wonderful to deal with, very informative and friendly. We would highly recommend and will return.
