We had a really pleasant stay overall at Loews New Orleans Hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable—easily one of the best parts of the trip—and I loved the view from my room. The hotel also smelled amazing in the common areas, which oddly made a great first impression every time I walked in.
What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the stay feel warm and easy.
That said, the property itself feels pretty outdated, especially in the bathroom—it could definitely use a refresh. I also wish there were some outdoor spaces to sit and relax, as that’s something I always look for when traveling. The bar and restaurant areas didn’t feel particularly inviting, so I ended up going elsewhere most of the time.
Overall, a comfortable stay with great service, but the hotel could really benefit from some updates and more inviting shared spaces.
