신바시는 일본 철도의 발상지입니다. 이 건물은 국가 지정 사적을 거쳐 재건된 "시오도메 화물역" 역 건물입니다. 2003년에 완공되었습니다. 박물관 내 전시는 입장료가 무료이며 전시물은 사진 촬영이 금지되어 있습니다.
