위룽남월곡

남월곡은 여강 옥룡설산 산자락에 있으며 옥룡설산에서 녹아 흐르는 물인 백수하가 이곳에 흘러들어 만들어진 곳입니다. 호수의 물은 매우 맑으며 영롱한 파란색을 띠고 있어 관광객의 눈길을 사로잡습니다. 남월곡은 '옥액호', '경담호', '남월호', '청수호' 등 4개의 다른 색을 띤 호수로 이뤄져 있으며, 이 외에도 많은 작은 폭포가 절경을 이루어 사진 촬영지로도 매우 유명합니다.

From my point of view Blue Moon Valley is the best part of the mountain day. Please give it enough time to enjoy: mountain is too foggy and comes packaged with some headache, the main attraction of the Lijiang Show will be actually the view the mountain itself as a stage background, so few points from me to truly enjoy the Blue Moon Valley:1. When use Didi from Lijiang, please put the main ticket office location, the park is really huge, walking from parking lot can be over 1km. The inside bus will take you to Valley from the main ticket office, the Valley is a second stop, after the main lifts stop. The bus commute with a queue would take you 20-30 min, please add it to your planning 2. once in the valley I recommend taking anti-clock wise walk3. if you are short for time, get to the right at least towards the bus bridge to see upper waterfall and then return to the crossing in the middle of the valley4. best walks are on the opposite side, there are much less people and the views are much more authentic. Please cross the lake and walk by other side anti-clock wise. We crossed in the middle of the lake just by the bus stop6. if you are short for time or do not want to do an upward walk backwards to Valley bus stop, there is a buggy for 20 RMB that can take you from very bottom left of the lake to the main lifts station. It takes 10-15 min with a queue, then the return queue on the main lift station is much quicker (another 20 min or so with a commute)7. last point, you can call DiDi return ride to Lijiang next to the main Mountain ticket office, at least there are enough metered taxis waiting, that could be ordered over DiDi, for about 100+ RMB, so no need to book a whole day driver.Finally, again, please keep in mind that Blue Moon Valley is the best part of the mountain day, do not rush it, even for the Lijiang Show, take your time to enjoy the lake views!

What a beautiful place! We came here after going up the mountain. It was raining the entire day we were there but it was still a great experience. We took some amazing photos. Would definitely recommend seeing this place while in Lijiang.

Came back down from Spruce Meadow and had a lovely walk around Blue Moon Valley (藍月谷). Would've given it 5/5 if the area had a little less people - there were so many people taking photos at every turn so it was hard to have a quiet moment to myself to just appreciate the beauty around me. Would still highly recommend a visit though! 🏞
