나고야를 중심으로 오와리 지역의 역사적 데이터를 수집한 박물관. 상설 전시실은 구석기 시대부터 현대에 이르기까지의 역사를 소개합니다. 많은 데이터는 시민들의 기부이며, 수집된 데이터는 약 24,000권, 270,000점 이상입니다. 특별전시실에서는 국내외 우수문화유산을 소개하는 특별전과 오와리 지역의 역사와 문화를 발굴하는 기획전을 연간 5회 개최합니다. 강연회, 공방 등 다양한 기획도 있으니 모두 방문하시기 바랍니다. 박물관 앞에는 일본 정원이 있으며 사계절의 풍경을 즐길 수 있습니다. 지하 1F 강당, 3F 갤러리가 있으며, 예술 작품의 전시 장소로 대중에게 개방되어 있습니다.
