I can’t say enough good things about my stay at this incredible homestay on Dongshan Island—it’s hands down one of the best accommodation experiences I’ve ever had, and I’m already counting down the days until I can come back. From the breathtaking sea views to the thoughtful, attentive service, every single detail made my trip unforgettable, and I’m so glad I chose this homestay for my island getaway. First and foremost, the seaview here is absolutely stunning, beyond anything I could have imagined. The homestay boasts an unbeatable location with unobstructed views of the endless blue sea, and I spent every spare moment just admiring the ocean, both morning and night. Waking up early to watch the soft golden sunrise glisten over the water, with gentle waves lapping against the shore, was the most peaceful way to start each day. As the sun set, the sky painted itself in warm hues of orange and pink, reflecting beautifully on the sea, creating a romantic and serene scene that took my breath away. Even at night, the quiet glow of the moon on the water and the soft sound of waves made the view just as magical. I took countless beautiful photos during my stay, and every snapshot perfectly captures the mesmerizing beauty of this place—no filter could ever do the real scenery justice. What surprised me most is that the homestay is even more beautiful in person than the online photos. When I booked the room online, the pictures looked lovely, but I didn’t expect the actual space to exceed my expectations by such a large margin. The interior is cozy, clean, and tastefully decorated, with large windows that frame the sea like a living painting. Every corner of the homestay is well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The layout is designed to maximize the seaview, so no matter where you are—whether it’s the bedroom, the living area, or the small terrace—you can always feast your eyes on the gorgeous ocean scenery. It’s clear that the host put a lot of love and care into creating this wonderful space. The service here is incredibly thoughtful and attentive, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The host and all the staff are friendly, warm, and always ready to help with any needs or questions I had. They were quick to respond to messages, offered useful tips for exploring Dongshan Island, and went out of their way to make sure I had a comfortable and pleasant stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and their genuine hospitality made me feel valued and cared for throughout my trip. Unlike many other accommodations where service feels impersonal, this homestay’s service is heartfelt and dedicated, adding an extra layer of warmth to the entire experience. I’ve traveled to many coastal destinations, but this homestay on Dongshan Island stands out as a true gem. 入住這家民宿，實在是感覺太好了！老闆熱情好客，請我們隨便吃他家自產的百香果，品他家的茶。早餐便宜實惠。停車方便免費。房間的廊亭下面就是菜地，站在窗前就可以欣賞田園風光。離景區懷遠土樓很近，步行幾分鐘就到。離雲水謠古鎮溜達着就可以到。以後如果再來這裏，首選的還是這家民宿。

하이러신에 꼭 다시 올 거예요! 동산도 여행은 즉흥적이었지만, 정말 멋진 사람들을 만났어요. 원래 이틀만 머물 계획이었는데 분위기가 너무 좋아서 나흘이나 있었답니다! 친구들에게 하이러신에서 보낸 며칠이 대학 1학년 학기 전체보다 훨씬 더 알찼다고 말했어요. 매일 우리를 ”자매님”이라고 부르며 다양한 활동을 기획하고 일출도 보러 데려가 주신 활기 넘치는 예 사장님, 수영과 키보드 반주를 가르쳐 주신 판 원장님, 수영도 같이 하고 마사지도 해주신 주방장님, 해변 산책도 시켜주고 소고기 완자 국수도 사주신 팅 누나, 시끄럽게 떡을 먹여주신 옌 누나, 여자다운 존재감 때문에 운전이 느려질 뻔한 젠후이, 버드와이저를 즐겨 마시는 애주가, 그리고 옆방에 계시면서 피아노도 치시는 양 사장님까지, 정말 사랑스러운 사람들이었어요! 그리고 귀여운 황 원장님과 주 원장님까지! 예 사장님 말씀처럼, 하이러신에서 만난 사람들이야말로 진정한 로맨스였어요. 마지막 날 저녁 식사까지 함께하겠다고 주방장님께 약속했는데, 일찍 떠나게 되어 조금 아쉽습니다. 하이러신에서 보낸 시간은 난창에서 열린 ”십천연가전”을 본 것 외에 올 여름휴가 중 가장 행복한 시간이었습니다. 마지막으로, 여러분 모두 매일 행복하시고, 걱정은 덜하시고, 편안한 밤 주무시길 바랍니다! 하이러신이 더욱 번창하고 성공하기를, 그리고 사장님께서 사업 번창하시고, 부를 많이 얻으시고, 더욱 멋있어지시기를 기원합니다!

I enjoyed my stay overall. While the hotel isn’t perfect, it offers great value if you’re looking for a relaxed beach holiday away from the busy tourist areas. Location The hotel is in a peaceful area close to Huangcuo Beach and Xitouxia, with plenty of small local seafood restaurants and traditional Chinese eateries nearby. If you’re not into seafood, there are still a few other dining options within walking distance. It’s about a 30-minute walk to popular cafés like Oncebook Coffee and Snow Peak Café. Further along the beach you’ll also find beach bars such as Breeze Bar and Amoy Beach Bar, where you can enjoy drinks overlooking the ocean. Most of Xiamen’s major attractions, including Shapowei, Zhongshan Road, Gulangyu Ferry Terminal, and MIXC, are around a 20–30 minute taxi ride away, making them easy to reach. Facilities The highlight of the hotel is definitely the swimming pool. It’s clean, relaxing, and has two sun loungers, making it a nice place to unwind after a day of exploring. The hotel doesn’t offer breakfast or have its own restaurant, but there are several places nearby where you can eat. Room The rooms are spacious and nicely designed, with floor-to-ceiling windows that provide beautiful ocean views. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, with soft memory foam pillows, and the air conditioning works very well—something you’ll definitely appreciate during Xiamen’s summer. The bathroom is modern, with a large rainfall shower that has excellent water pressure. There are a few downsides, however. The room could be cleaner, and the hotel provides disposable towels instead of regular bath towels, which wasn’t my favourite. There’s also no minibar or mini fridge, which would have been a welcome addition. Service The reception staff deserve special mention. The gentleman who checked me in was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. His hospitality left a very positive impression. Final thoughts If you’re looking for a quiet beachside stay with comfortable rooms, beautiful ocean views, and don’t mind taking a taxi to Xiamen’s main attractions, this hotel is a solid choice. Just don’t expect luxury facilities or a full-service resort experience.

세심한 배려가 돋보였고, 미국 친구들과 함께 숙박했는데 모두 만족스러워 주저 없이 연장했습니다. 사장님께서 공연 티켓을 저렴하게 구매해주시고, 여행 정보도 명확하게 알려주셨어요. 객실 비품 하나하나에 정성이 느껴졌고, 아침 식사도 푸짐했습니다. 심지어 점심과 저녁에는 사장님께서 직접 키우신 채소 요리까지 맛볼 수 있었죠. 지금까지 묵었던 호텔 중 가장 편안하고 만족스러운 곳입니다.

I rarely say this on my reviews, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Minsu. When I come back to Quanzhou for another family holiday, I will book this place again. Firstly, the location: It is unbeatable. It is near enough to be in the midst of the action in Quanzhou (near the walking street, eateries, restaurants, shopping etc etc), yet very quiet for us to enjoy a good night’s rest, or a good conversation at night over tea. Second, the nice balance between an authentic cultural home and modernism. We had the entire Minsu to ourselves, 6 rooms in total. Renovated about 3-4 years ago, the Minsu gave us the experience of living in an authentic Chinese inn, yet the amenities were modern….comfortable beds, modern toilets, refrigerators available etc….The courtyards were also beautiful. The entire Minsu was tastefully done…..plus it was spotlessly clean. Thirdly, the owners. They were so friendly and helpful. They met us at the drop off point, and brought us to the Minsu when we checked in, helping to move some of our luggages (and they did the same thing when we checked out). They went out of their way to help purchase traditional puppet show (木偶) tickets (at a small discount somemore). After we checked out, my son left his hoodie in the room. The owners assisted to courier the jacket to the next city we were heading to (we were already in the train at that time). And lastly, every morning and every night, either Mr Du, his son or his daughter in law would invite us to join them for tea. They would then proceed to serve tea the traditional way, while having a conversation with us. They also taught us certain traditions, protocols and rules when serving tea. They have a cat called TangYuan (汤圆), in which the kids in the family enjoyed playing with. The only thing to note is that public transport (via taxis and buses) only can drop you off at a spot about 5min walk away. Also, they provide disposable towels, not the regular towels given at hotels. If it is an issue, just bring your own towels. Otherwise, this place deserves 5 out of 5 stars.

이른 아침에 샤먼에 도착해서 우연히 발견한 호텔 방이 너무 커서 첫날밤에 방에서 약간의 소란이 있었지만 다음날 프론트 데스크 직원분이 연락주셔서 잘 해결해주었습니다. 낮. 주차는 무료이며 낮에는 차고에 가는 것이 더 편리합니다. 외출할 때 탈 수 있는 엘리베이터가 여러 개 있어요

저는 Nanjing Tulou Cultural Centre 1945 Resort에서 정말 멋진 시간을 보냈습니다. 직원들은 매우 친절하고 도움이 되었습니다. 호텔은 두 개의 인기 지역 사이에 바로 위치하고 있으며 두 곳 모두 도보로 이동하기 쉽습니다! 레스토랑의 음식은 저녁과 아침 모두 맛있었고, 바의 음료 서비스도 훌륭했습니다. 정원에서 직접 신선한 재료를 조달하여 칵테일을 만들었습니다! 방은 넓고 매우 깨끗했으며 잘 꾸며져 있었습니다. 다시 여기 머물고 싶습니다.

The hotel is very good and located within the Twin Towers area. The sea view is excellent, and it has all the amenities. My room had a private bathroom, a comfortable bed, and cozy cushions near the window to enjoy the sea view. There is also a projector available for watching movies. The initial service was good, although later there were slight delays in responding. Check-in requires a face scan, while check-out is simple — you just need to send a message to your butler. It is better to book earlier to get a good deal.

틈만 나면 바닷가에 가서 모래놀이하고 작은 게를 잡자는 아이 때문에, 주말에 바람 쐴 겸 떠났어요. 🌊 🏠 예약할 때 가족룸을 찾다가, 이 객실의 '복층' 구조를 보고 바로 이거다 싶었죠! 아니나 다를까, 아이가 오르락내리락 정말 신나게 놀았어요. 🤩 객실에는 아동용 변기 시트, 작은 슬리퍼, 세면도구까지 구비되어 있어서 세심한 배려에 감동받았습니다. 📈 (민박집 관리인분이 숙면 키트도 챙겨주셔서 정말 칭찬하고 싶어요! 🥰) 🏖 여행의 가장 중요한 임무: 모래놀이와 갯벌 체험! 민박집에서 걸어서 10분 정도면 해변에 도착해요 (프런트에서 도구를 무료로 빌릴 수 있습니다). 애프터눈 티를 마신 후 여유롭게 해변까지 산책했어요. 아이는 해 질 녘까지 신나게 놀았답니다. 🌄 🍽 여유로운 애프터눈 티와 푸짐한 아침 식사에 아이도 매우 만족했어요. 😯 레스토랑의 경치는 정말 칭찬할 만해요! 어느 곳에서 찍어도 멋진 사진이 나옵니다. 📷 여름에 다시 오기로 약속한 이 객실, 그때는 수영장에서 즐겁게 놀 수 있겠죠? (개인 풀이 있는 객실도 있어서 혹하네요. 💓) 그럼 여름에 다시 만나요! ✌🏻
