Even though the place was under construction, the customer service was impeccable and the view from the room of downtown Mobile was very scenic, I would stay there again !

The Historic Bon Ton Hatter’s Building is on Birmingham’s main street in the heart of the city center and has been renovated recently. This spacious loft is approximately 1200 square feet and is conveniently located within walking distance or a short cab ride from dozens of restaurants, bars, theaters, Museums, art galleries, parks, concert halls, Top Golf, the new sports arena, the University of Alabama Birmingham, UAB Hospital and shopping. There is a full kitchen and comfortable living room with a raised seating area over-looking busy Twentieth Street. The central heating and air system and all the appliances are brand new. Hardwood floors that run throughout the space and the 14-foot ceilings provide a true loft experience. Giant 8'-6" high windows give stellar views of Birmingham’s beautiful historic buildings and skyline. If unavailable, there is a 2nd floor loft as well.Items to note:1. Cats or dogs are welcome, but there is a non-refundable $125 deposit per pet (only 2 allowed). There will be additional fees if there are issues.2. A parking space for one vehicle is included in the nightly fee, but additional spaces are $10/night (this is what the owner of the lot charges us).3. Ask us about discounts for staying longer than a week or a month!4. 리리뷰어This was my second stay and, overall, another good one. First I,d like to say thank you for something you may not be aware of, my pillow. I have neck problems so when I find a good one that fits the way I need I take it with me. Unfortunately I left it in the room. I called the front desk that afternoon to hopefully get it back, having my daughter-in-law pick it up as she and my son and grandkids live close by. The clerk was very courteous and said it was likely in laundry but couldn't leave the front desk to check. He graciously said he would leave a note and someone could pick it up the next morning. My daughter-in-law did just that.
This is a budget no-frills hotel in a safe location. My son and his family live probably less than 2 miles from there so I am very familiar with the area in southeast Huntsville. I can't think of anything you can't get nearby as all the big box stores, numerous gas stations, restaurants, and a few small bars, etc are a stones throw away. As someone that used to travel with work with plenty of weekly and monthly motel stays I know how important convenience and room costs can be. There are cheaper motels nearby but I don't recommend them due to location(safety) and poor past experience as well as inconvenience due to traffic on 72. VIP has a restaurant on one side and a small bar on the other, both just across the parking lots. There are plenty of others within safe and easy walking distance.
The room: I'm a smoker and booked a smoking room. Those aren't easy to find anymore. That said, there were signs of it if you looked. Nothing to fault VIP for as I put that on previous guests and the room, at least to me, didn't smell like it. The most important parts, counters, tub, toilet, bedding, etc were clean but the floor, TV remote, and spaces you could only see when sitting down or looking under something could use some attention.
There was an issue with the TV box where every time I turned it on to watch I had to unplug the box and plug it back in to get it to wake up.
The water was just warm enough for a shower but never any hot water for my preference even after letting it run 3-5 minutes prior. Stayed warm for a long shower but forget about a hot bath. The drain was slow like it needed cleaning out. Not so slow that the shower didn't drain fast enough but slow enough that any water straight from the tub faucet would fill it faster than it could drain. Likely needed cleaning out. Not a housekeeping issue but more a maintenance issue since the ”hair catcher” or whatever you call it would need to be removed.
The towels would make good loofahs for exfoliating. A little fabric softener would be a plus.
The pillows were flat. Something to address for the next updates.
The floors are vinyl, much preferred over nasty carpet that always keeps something for itself even after a thorough vacuuming.
The door needs a new weather ***** and/or threshold as I did have one unwelcome guest slip under it. Not the kind you'd have to worry about living there though and I simply evicted him with a flush.
I give VIP 4 out of 5 stars. I'm a realist and I know that keeping everything perfect isn't cost effective and could easily increase room rates but I also know that some of the small details would simply take a little more time and attention.
I try to be thorough not just for potential guests but also for owners, management, and staff are fully aware of any issues, grievances, or thumbs up.
I would definitely stay again.

리리뷰어호텔은 깨끗하고 내가 버밍엄에 있었던 이유 때문에 훌륭한 위치에 있습니다. 내가 참석했던 행사와 가까웠다. 내 방의 싱크대에는 이빨을 닦고 얼굴을 씻는 것과 같은 활동 중에 싱크대에서 수집하고 싶지 않을 때 물이 도피하는 것을 막는 마개가있었습니다. 물도 차가웠고 조금도 데우는데 시간이 너무 오래 걸렸다. 미지근하지도 않았다. 그래서 체크아웃을 하고 샤워를 할 수 없었습니다. 내 아들은 실제로 추운 날에 찬물로 샤워를 했습니다. 이것은 우리가 잠시 동안 앨라배마에서 가진 가장 추운 것 중 하나였습니다. 나는 또한 비상 사태로 인해 건물을 비워달라고 비상 메시지와 알람에 잠에서 깨어 났고 나중에 테스트라는 것을 알게되었습니다. 소방차가 도착했을 때 이것을 배웠고 직원이 전화하지 않아 단지 테스트라고 알리지 않은 것에 대해 사과하는 소리를 들었습니다. 나는 하룻밤 만 머물렀기 때문에 더 나은 인상을받을 수있는 다른 기회가 없었습니다. 시설에 대해 낮은 평가를 하지 않은 유일한 이유는 샤워와 세면대 문제를 보고하면 수리를 위해 편리한 사람을 방으로 보냈기 때문입니다. 그러나 우리가 이전에 예정된 의무를 충족시키기 위해 집에 돌아갈 예정이었기 때문에 아들은 이미 찬물로 샤워를 하고 있었습니다. 나를 체크아웃하는 직원은 내가 제3자를 통해 예약했기 때문에 나를 위해 아무것도 할 수 없다고 말했다. 그러나 그녀는 내가 주차 비용을 지불한 돈을 환불할 것이라고 말했습니다.

리리뷰어The Hilton Garden Inn in Orange Beach, Alabama, was a beautiful place! I liked the hotel layout. My favorite parts while staying there were collecting shells on their beaitiful private beach behind the hotel, leisurely riding innertubes on their ”heated river” behind the hotel and enjoying their delicious breakfast buffet. Every hotel employee we met was wonderful and helpful! I reserved a physicallyhandicapped room with island view. My only unpleasant part of my stay was the flooding from the handicapped bathroom shower that flooded the bathroom floor, into the front entrance to the room, even wetting the hall carpet. I reported it to the front desk, who thanked me for reporting it. They said it was because it was a handicapped room. I told them it didn't matter...if it was a handicapped room or not. I told them more care should have been taken considering it was for a handicapped person. What if I'd fallen on the wet floor and gotten hurt? Anyway, I liked the hotel but I don't recommend renting and reserving the handicapped room (#415) until these issues are corrected and the room, itself, is updated and this problem is completely corrected. 호텔 방은 매우 깔끔하고 매우 깨끗합니다. 방은 쾌적하고 밝은 색상입니다. 사진은 좋은 첫인상을 완성합니다.
예를 들어 욕실의 수도꼭지와 같이 매우 고품질의 인상을주는 것들이 있습니다. 나는 휴대 전화를 충전하기 위해 점점 더 자주 램프나 침대 옆에 배치되는 USB 플러그를 놓쳤습니다.
유일하지만 큰 비판의 요점은 아침 식사였습니다. 나는 헛되이 커피 컵을 찾았습니다. 일회용 컵이 다 써진 것을 알 때까지 직원에게 두 번 물어야 했습니다. 커피 아주 좋습니다. 선택은 그다지 크지 않으며 비슷한 호텔보다 훨씬 적습니다. 오렌지 주스는 매우 부정적이었고 아마도 뒷맛이있는 저렴한 제품 일 것입니다. 지금은 흔한 후에는 뜨거운 것이 없고 대신 ”따뜻한” 스크램블 에그만 있습니다. 이것들만 따뜻하지도 않았고, 따뜻하고 차가운 스펙트럼에서 다소 차갑게 계산되어 거의 즐기지 못했습니다.
아침 식사는 별도로 평가할 수 없기 때문에 평가가 무엇인지 생각해야합니다. 아침 식사가없는 호텔 투숙객은 확실히 잘 수용되기 때문입니다.
