'This is an awesome hotel.everything is top notch, the staff the decor the food the location absolutely first class.we will 100% be back again and again'

'Beautiful hotel in a perfect central location. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room was spotless and a perfect size for the 2 of us.'

'The outside of the hotel needs sprucing up, the inside is tired too, but our room was huge. A slight sea view too. The staff were all lovely, breakfast was great too. The location was a pleasant walk away from the Princess Theatre. Plenty of places to eat along the way too.'

'The hotel was really convenient for the train station being only 5 to 10 minutes walk away. This was great as we had booked a train via Trip at a super price. The hotel is a great base to explore the area including Brixham, Torquay, Teignmouth and Dawlish - using the train was cheap and quick. Now for the hotel - We arrived at around 2pm and the room was ready which was a result. The lift is operated by the room key and is good for security. The room was clean and large with a super king sized bed and a walk in shower with toiletries and hairdryer. There is also an iron and ironing board if needed. The room was very comfortable and extremely quiet and soundproofed. There is air con or heating in the room and the maid visited daily to make up the room and replenish the tea and coffee. We booked a breakfast included room - highly recommended! There is a buffet for hot breakfast plus cereals, fruit, toast, croissants and pastries. Tea, coffee and juices. Everything was replenished as needed - My advice is to book this because it is £18 PP if bought on the day. The staff here were exceptional from the front desk to the maids and the restaurant and bar staff - very nice crew and most helpful and polite. We ate in the hotel on one of our nights and found there to be a decent choice with a vegetarian option or two. There are a few good eating houses nearby - we recommend Henrys Bar and The Local Thai as really good places. Overall this hotel is extremely good and very good value for money - We will stay again if in the area.'

'Excellent service, good food and clean hygienic rooms and toilets'

'Really lovely hotel, really friendly staff, really good clean rooms and the price and location was brilliant… we will stay there again when we visit Exeter'
