First and most important thing: If you are, or traveling with, someone who is physically challenged...do not stay here. The hotel is barely accessible (despite what I was told), if using any type of power chair you will have to use a lift to enter/exit the hotel. The lift is hidden by a large, very gaudy, curtain and it seems that they are embarrassed to have this lift in their hotel. Also, the lift (or elevator) is barely able to accommodate a small wheel chair. So, if you are in a full size wheel chair using the elevator/lift is impossible. Agent at reception was very argumentative and unprofessional. Manager offered a tiny refund for all the problems we had but did not come close to matching what they should have done. I made three calls to this property prior to arriving to ensure we would not have difficulty and did not receive reasonable information as to the accessibility of this property.

We stayed at the Marriott Autograph hotel for 3 nights in May 2025 (1st to 4th). The hotel is fantastic, perfectly located in Zurich, everywhere is a 5 minute walk. The hotel is very clean and modern. The staff are amazing, they can’t do enough to please you. The food is exceptional, the breakfast was included in our room rate as a member of the Marriott hotel chain. The hotel room was huge, we stayed in room 502, a beautiful suite which had the following - bedroom, walk in wardrobe, living room, outside corner balcony and a large bathroom. We’d certainly recommend this hotel to everyone, we’ll stay here when we return to Zurich in the future.

I'm a hotelier myself and love the hotel. the hotel is a small lifestyle oasis in the center of Zurich and you can be at the lake in just a few steps. The staff are great and courteous hosts with attention to detail. The delicious breakfast offers a perfect start into the day. The cuisine at lunchtime and especially in the evening is simply superb. Overall an amazing treat.

Excellent hotel. Well appointed and great staff. Gym is a walk down the block but well equipped. Good Mediterranean restaurant. Highly recommend this hotel - very warm place . Fairly priced. Finally would suggest staying on floors 5 and up

The Hotel That Spoiled Our Christmas Vacation The last thing I expected from Marriott as a Christmas gift was an issue of this magnitude. Despite booking well in advance (October), my reservation was canceled at the very last moment—just a few hours before arrival—without any explanation. As a result, my pregnant wife and I are now forced to completely revise our plans, which were carefully arranged around the Neues Schloss location. While the reception team did their best to relocate us to another hotel, the alternative offered is in an industrial area, which is entirely unsuitable for us. To make matters worse, this change came at a higher cost, meaning we are now paying more for significantly inferior services. This situation is utterly unacceptable and after this incident we most probably we will try to avoid Marriott hotels in future.

Neues Schloss is a cute, little boutique hotel right near central Zurich. I stayed 3 nights this past week and generally enjoyed it. Would I stay here again? Yes and no. I chose a different hotel for my next stay in Zurich, so I am not completely sold on the Neues Schloss, but it's a comfortable and nice hotel. I chose this property as I'm a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member and I wanted a Marriott hotel that was very near the city center. Neues Schloss is a part of Marriott's Autograph Collection. I found that this hotel didn't offer a product that was nearly as memorable as other Autograph Collections. There wasn't any stand out feature or really unique design feature. The staff were very friendly and helpful. At check in, they offered us water, coffee, tea sparkling wine. Reception was always more than happy to assist with anything; especially Lucia and Maximillian. My room was a Superior Guestroom. It was a great size and the bathroom was gorgeous. Housekeeping did a great job with daily cleaning and turndown service. I was really surprised how badly scuffed up and marked the walls in the room and the bathroom were. I didn't eat at the hotel, because they told us at check in no hot food was available, due to some maintenance. The hotel is so near central Zurich, that it's a quick walk to food options anyway. The hotel has no gym, but does have an agreement with a nearby facility for a charge. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again - but I feel that $600/night is a bit much for the product they offer. I have found other Marriott properties that are quite a bit less that have the same or better quality and are just a quick car ride from town. Thanks to the staff at Neues Schloss for an enjoyable time. I'll keep this property in mind for future stays with a slightly lower price.

Das Hotel ist noch relativ neu in Zürich und liegt recht zentral im Innenstadtbereich. Die Zimmer sind modern und schick eingerichtet, allerdings nicht besonders groß. Das Bett ist auch für Vielreisende angenehm und lässt einen gut schlafen. Die Dusche ist recht groß und läßt einem Platz und engt nicht ein, was ich als sehr angenehm empfunden hatte. Von außen schaut das Hotel allerdings weder schick, noch besonders aus und die Lage an einer ordentlich befahrenen Straße macht es auch nicht besser. Die Mitarbeiter am Empfang und im Restaurant waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.
