16박 숙박이 끝나갈 무렵, 우리의 숙박을 매우 즐겁게 만들어 준 이 멋진 호텔의 모든 직원에게 큰 감사를 전하고 싶습니다. 나는 당신이 지나갈 때 당신에게 미소나 '잼보'를 기꺼이 주지 않고 손님을 돌보기 위해 최선을 다하는 직원을 아직 만나본 적이 없습니다. 5성급 럭셔리를 원하신다면 이 호텔은 적합하지 않습니다. 하지만 질 좋은 음식, 훌륭한 서비스, 아름다운 환경을 원하신다면 이곳으로 예약하시기 바랍니다. 약간 구식이라면 객실은 기능적이지만, 모험심이 없다면 음식이 반복될 수 있다는 점을 명심하세요. 하지만 스낵 메뉴 12번부터 6번까지 주문할 수 있으며 피자 레스토랑에서 변형하여 먹을 수도 있습니다. 우리는 돌아오기를 기다릴 수 없습니다.

우리는 해안 조류 관찰 휴가의 일환으로 Turtle Bay에 4박을 묵었기 때문에 호텔을 직접 선택하지 않았습니다. 우리는 위치는 좋지만 다소 작고 부식된 욕실 설비와 다소 초라한 장식으로 매우 구식인 해변 방을 가지고 있었습니다. 우리 책상 의자는 금방이라도 부서질 것 같았고 전기 콘센트도 부족했습니다. 우리는 단 하나만 찾을 수 있었습니다. WiFi는 매우 느리지만 방에 AC와 WiFi가 있습니다. 직원들은 모두 매우 친절했고 프론트 데스크 직원 한 명을 제외하면 도움이 되었습니다. 음식은 뷔페 스타일입니다. 반복적이고 평균 품질이며 특별한 것은 없습니다. 아침 일찍 출발해서 테이크아웃 아침식사를 달라고 했더니 전날 밤에 남은 차가운 피자와 춘권이 나왔습니다. 다른 리뷰어들이 언급했듯이 매일 밤 오후 9시부터 12시까지 시끄러운 음악이 들립니다. 잠재적인 수면 방해에 대해 약간 걱정했지만 에어컨이 작동하니 그리 나쁘지 않았습니다. 이 지역을 다시 방문한다면 더 조용하고 고급스러운 숙소를 찾을 것입니다. 이것은 확실히 그렇지 않습니다!

The staff are very friendly and helpful all the time. The premise is very clean and well kept with nice and tasty meals.

Overall a good stay but feel extremely let down by the change in policy on watersports. At the time of booking, the Turtle Bay website clearly stated all watersports are included - this had actually changed but the website not updated so we were led to believe that we would get something we didn't. It was the main factor we chose this resort and when raised at reception, they offered to discuss with our agent who made the booking but refused to help us directly. Unfortunately the agent was useless which is another separate issue. Hotel itself is well located on the beach, amazing views and lots of beach beds. Absolutely no pestering from beach boys which was a dream compared to resorts in Mombasa! We did book a boat tour with the local beach boys and they were excellent - tour met all expectations. Staff are all wonderful and trying their best. Food was sometimes slow to come from snack bar but not the fault of serving staff. Meals themselves were fine for a short stay but would have been fed up if staying a week. Rooms are spacious but bathrooms truly terrible and in desperate need of an upgrade. We had two rooms but could only use shower in one as other would not allow temperature control - went from burning hot to cold. Baths looked dirty due to age and ingrained marks so we did not even consider using. Went for massages and the salon only take cash payment - any other hotel allows it to be added to the bill. Also to note the salon and watersports provider literally chase you round the hotel for payment even though we were staying for several more days and would not be able to leave without paying. The majority of guests will not carry money around with them all day. By comparison, the beach boys we booked a tour with (who have no idea when we are leaving or telling the truth) were happy for us to pay them at our convenience for a much much bigger sum of money. Overall we had a nice time but would not return due to issues above.

On the north coast meet Turtle a travellers choice 5 star hotel, I was impressed by the geust relations personell and those in the reception are just wow. The ambience and the clean beach near watamu marine park is something to smile about. I highly recommend Turtle bay

Turtle Bay sits on a lovely picture postcard white sandy beach. We had a lovely stay there. The staff were super-friendly and helpful everywhere - in reception, in the restaurant, in the bars, by the pool, just whenever you passed any one of them anywhere on site you'd get a smile and a 'Jambo'. Rooms were spacious, with AC and a balcony looking out over the sea (we were on the first floor up in the main block rather than the ones fronting the sea but still had a nice view). There is an artistically draped mosquito net but actually we never needed it. Good shower and even a bath too, and there's a safe in the rooms. The pool staff are lovely and will drag a sunbed for you wherever you want it placed, by the pool or on the beach, so it doesn't matter if there isn't one there when you come down. Then waiters come round periodically to ask if you'd like a drink brought to your sunbed. No hassle on the beach... there are some people selling boat tours but they more or less wait for you to ask them rather than vice versa (cheaper than the hotel booked ones btw), and there weren't vendors around - we went for a half hour walk along the beach without being accosted. There are a couple of stalls on the beach with sarongs etc and if you pass those of course they'll ask if you want to come in, but generally you could enjoy the beach without hassle. Food was good, plentiful, lots of curry based dishes, but a variety. Fantastic fruit at all meals, delicious mangoes. The all inclusive drinks at the bar are a bit limited, very limited range of cocktails and no rose wine, but the drinks there are are nice, and served with a smile. There isn't much around the hotel and you probably need a tuk tuk if you want to see anything of Watamu, but you can take a boat trip from the beach right by the hotel and see dolphins/snorkel on the reef (latter was a bit disappointing but we did see lots of dolphins). Would definitely return - it's a lovely hotel

What an amazing and wonderful place, I cannot praise it enough. It has got a beautiful vibe to it and all the people are just so kind and attentive. Wonderful for couples or families, your kids will LOVE it. The location has to be seen to be believed, it’s impossible to exaggerate the natural beauty of the beach. Just book and go, you will be so happy you did and you WILL go back for more 🤩❤️

We stayed at turtle bay for new year as families and enjoyed every bit of it. Despite arriving early with the night train we found our rooms ready, the check in was smooth and had time to freshen up before lunch. The all inclusive package worked well for us and met our expectations. The food was enough and good, a good selection of drinks. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Kudos turtle bay we enjoyed our stay

The hotel has continued to offer great service with excellent experienced waiters and great food. The kids enjoyed the planned activities and the team in charge have proved themselves every time, this being a repeat destination for over 15 years now. Kudos to Patience and Maureen, the ladies in charge of the kids zone. The pool area also is worth mentioning, very clean at all times, all the 3pools, kids , adult and fun pool. The only problem is the showers essentials (gels and shampoo) please do something, you don’t have to cut costs to that level . On the kids side, bring back the point system to entice participation by both parents as well as the kids themselves.

We stayed here as part of a bird-watching trip, as the hotel is convenient for the Arabuko-Sokoke forest which holds many rare birds. It was fun to chill out here (on our inclusive package) after a hot day in the forest! The food was truly excellent and the free drinks very welcome. The room was very comfortable with efficient air-con, which was necessary as it is very hot here. Plenty of free drinking water. We did not use any of the provided activities so cannot comment on them.

So lovely to be back at Turtle Bay after 10 years... first and foremost it's the wonderful staff that make this resort what it is ... our thanks to Patience (of a saint) who used to look after our kids years ago so we actually had a holiday.... so lovely to catch up with her... To Derek, ever helpful pool side, Philip and the fun base team and Ratibu, so attentive in the restaurant... the pool and grounds are clean and immaculately kept - rooms also clean and comfortable. Food is varied and tasty, you really won't go hungry here. Really can't thank you all enough - we came to celebrate a special birthday and you didn't disappoint - we has the best time!

I am often asked by friends back home why we spend so much time here, 10 years in total since 1995. Well here is one of the main reasons. We know most of the staff by name and treat them as friends, they do likewise. We laugh and joke together, share a drink in one of the pubs outside. It really is like living in a very large house will all your friends around. Of course there are things that go wrong occasionally but my friends are always there to support us. Nothing is too much trouble for these people. They will make your holiday a delight. Treat them with respect and friendship and you will be well rewarded.

A wonderful place to relax when visiting Malindi. This resort is right on the beach. Being a beach resort gives the guest a chance to swim in the Indian Ocean in water of a comfortable temperature. The location of this resort means that the guest can walk comfortably on the beach without being hassled. Guests are able to book snorkelling trips from the beach seller's. Diving trips are available to be booked on site. There are a number of other activities for the energetic guests. There are 2 pools here. The general pool is next to the dining room, with a quiet pool for those over 18 years a short walk away next to some of the residential blocks. The staff are very welcoming and will go out of their way to ensure the guests have a good stay. Different accommodation packages are available, right up all-inclusive covering all meals and drinks.
